(Kalia's Pov)
It's been two weeks... Christmas was over , and I didn't seen Cody and I getting back together with the new year. I should've know, our happiness was always short lived, I've learned to get used to no comfort or hope, cause it would be destroyed the moment I believed in it. In all honesty, I felt horrible, I stayed laid up in bed, not getting out of the house. I was depressed, tired of feeling like this, like I was the reason why I wasn't happy. But I forced myself to think the other way, it was Cody's fault, this was all Cody's fault.
Reading the book was probably the worst pain I've ever felt. It was like my heart was being ripped out of my chest, torn into a million pieces, an then stomped all over. I often found myself getting worked up over it, crying, shaking, and even throwing it across the room (I had even broke two vases in the process.) But I had finished, I promised myself to never fall in love with Cody again. But I knew couldn't keep that promise. Isaac had came over and sealed in in a truck, with a spell, we where the only ones who new where it was hidden.
There was a knock and I rolled over on the bed, my back turned,
"Go away." I said lazily. The door opened and I sigh "Jaden I don't want to talk about it."
"It's not Jaden." Alice's voice rung. I shifted under the covers keeping my back turned to her.
"How are you feeling?"
"I'm miserable." I say I feel the bed go up indicating she sat down, I smelt food, and my stomach growled.
"Here eat.." I look over at my shoulder and sigh.
"Jaden's worried about you." Alice says as I sit up taking a bite of sausage.
"He should be worried about my boyfriend."
"Cody won't hurt Jaden. If he did he'd know he would lose you in the process."
"Cody doesn't care about anyone but himself"
"Then why has he been coming over?"
"He's lonely.., he want me to take him back like nothing happened. Like he didn't do anything wrong. But he lied to me, he has a whole book filled about my life. I was research. He never cared for me."
"You didn't tell him that Jaden was a Petrova."
"I shouldn't have to."
"When are you going to talk to him?"
"That's the problem, I don't think I could ever forgive him.."
"Rowan's suppose to meet with Cody today"
"Why?"
"Codys forces have multiplied, and sine there's no more Werewolves wants to stand against the vampires. He's calling it off. A Peace treaty."
"Cody won't sign it."
"Why?"
"Because he wants revenge on the wolves because they slaughtered his people. He'll kill thousands of wolves just to prove a point."
"Prove what point?"
"That Vampires will always be above Werewolves." She looked at me before hearing a cry from Leah, the baby. She picked up my plate and sat up. "Get ready, dress nice yet casual we're going out to eat and your brother isn't taking no for an answer."
"I don't want to go, I wanna stay inside." I say laying down. Alice walked over to the window and opened it letting the light pour in. I shielded my eyes, being it was so bright.
"Come on get up. You need to get out of the house." I sit up and deeply sigh, I push my hair out of my face. I give her a look as she walks out.
I sit in the front with Jaden, Alice in the back with Leah. I played with the bracket that Cody had gotten me from my sixteenth birthday, I had also gotten my drivers license about a week ago. We pulled in front of a place called Houston's and Jaden looked around.
