Past Future, Future Past.

Chapter 7

Standing outside the UA school entrance was a very strange feeling. The last time I saw this place it was wrecked. I had broken in to find supplies but it had already been cleaned of useful things and for a moment my memory of the desolated and broken building overlapped with the bright, standing one before me.

I shudder before taking a deep breath and stepping past the gate line. I feel the top of my shoe trip. I start to get ready to tumble so I didn't get hurt when I suddenly stoped falling.

"huh" I get set back upright and I turn to see a young girl with a brown bob.

"sorry I used my quirk on you but it'd be bad luck to fall today, right?" she exclaims.

"yeah, thankyou." I say giving her a smile.

"Good luck!" she runs off waving and I then make my way to the hall where they were explaining what the exam would consist of. We had already done the written exam, that was the day before, today was purely hero course exam which was a practical to show off our abilities and weather we have potential to be a hero. The odds were low but that didn't mean anything to me, I know what's going to happen and what to expect.

The moment Hizashi appears on the stage to explain things I get a little overwhelmed with emotions. It had been so long since I thought of him because of this mission that I'm on but seeing him brought up both happy and sad memories. I take a deep breath to calm my emotions down. I was trying to keep to myself since Kacchan was right next to me. I hope he was more focused on Hizashi talking than who's sitting next to him.

Eventually we are lead out to start the exam. As soon as Hizashi yells go I am off. I don't take down many robots since it was harder for me to do that but I knew the secret point system.

Whenever I see someone in trouble I helped them out. Soon I guessed I had enough points to pass between the robots and helping others when the ground starts to rumble. I look up to see a giant robot coming down the road. I quickly glance around to make sure no one was going to get hurt by it. My eyes spot the girl from the gate trapped under some rubble. I run over.

"can you feel your legs?" I ask. She nods. "good."

I grab my bo staff and jam it under to rubble and put my whole weight onto it. When it didn't budge much I look around at what I could do. I leave my staff there and race over to a smaller robot, I climb up and rip off the top panel hoping to find the control box. I find it and pull out a few wires and changed their places before pressing a few buttons on my phone.

Their robots were wireless, I knew that much and that helped me figure out how to rewire it so it connected my phone to their system. Once it was connected two buttons appeared on my screen. I quickly press the shutdown button and then looked back to watch the giant robot shutter to a stop. I head back to the girl getting a boy with purple hair to help me get the rubble off of her. right after the exam is called to be over.

After getting looked over by recovery girl I headed home. I was happy with my performance. I had to hold back a bit so I didn't look experienced otherwise they'd get suspicious, especially Principal Nezu and Eraserhead.

It takes a week more for the results to arrive. I take the envelope to my room telling mum that I'd tell her the results after hearing them alone. I open the envelope and a disk drops out. it lights up and All Might appears.

"I AM HERE as a hologram, well done Young Midoriya, you did very well in the exam, unfortunately you did not receive enough points to pass, that is if taking down the villains was the only way to get points, we wouldn't be heroes if all we did was fight and so there were also HERO POINTS, points you got for saving others and with your hero points added on you managed to get 72 points, Young Midoriya welcome to your hero academia!"

I let out a sigh, I was worried I wouldn't pass even with all my knowledge but I did, I passed.

I couldn't hold my excitement and rush out to mum to tell her the news. We had a small celebration that night and the next day I get everything ready for when the school term started.

The next thing I know I am nervously standing outside the doors to class 1A. I take a deep breath and push open the door. The first thing I am greeted with in the classroom is Kacchan getting yelled at by another student about having his feet on the desk.

"Hello, my name is Tenya Iida!" he says the moment he notices me.

"um, nice to meet you, I'm Izuku Midoriya." I say quietly. I then shuffle my way to my desk which ended up being behind Kacchan. Soon the class was full and the other students were chatting with each other.

"hello," I look up to see a familiar brown bob.

"ah, hi,"

"you got in, I was so worried you wouldn't get in because you were helping me, who knew they had the secret point system." she says chuckling "my name is Ochaco Uraraka."

"Izuku Midoriya." I say. Eventually our teacher arrived but he arrived in the form of a strange yellow caterpillar. When we noticed him he crawls out and I had to keep my expression neutral.

"it took you all too long to notice that I had arrived, get changed into these and meet me outside."
