Chapter 23

I watch the trees fly past as we drove down the road. I start to feel the speed of the bus drop.

We pull out into a little clearing and we get off the bus. I watch Mineta race around looking for a bathroom but from the looks of it we were nowhere near a bathroom. I look around and spot another car pulling up and out from the car jumps three members of the wild wild pussy cats.

I couldn't hide my excitement. I had gotten a handle on my fanboying but it was a small one.

"The Pussy cats!"

After explain vaguely what was happening we are sent tumbling down the cliff into the forest to fight against mud monsters. We all tried our best to make it there during the time they wanted but there was no way that was gonna happen. I helped a few students on the way there. When we arrived we were all dirty and disgusting.

"go wash up, we'll cook tonight but only for tonight so don't get used to it."

Both the boys and girl head off to the baths. I was one of the last to head into the spring.

"Wow Midoriya-kun what happened?" I hear. I look up to see everyone looking at me.

"What?"

"all those scars." Kaminari mumbles, clearly unsure of how I'd react to him pointing them out.

"Oh, those are from training." I say smiling.

"Training, must've been brutal!" Kirishima says grinning. I smile at his innocence.

"that's one word for it." I say chuckling. I lower into the water and sigh. It has been so long since I was able to soak like this. Ever since returning I've only ever had showers and there was no way I'd leave myself so vulnerable during apocalypse.

"what type of training have you done?" Kirishima asks.

"Well, I've learnt many different forms of martial arts." I say. I didn't really know what to say since I learnt what I know from being Vivid in both the Original and now.

"that's awesome!" he says. Everyone starts to pitch in with how they trained and how their training has been going and I fall into the background. That's when the conversation stops.

"Why are we talking about training when there is something so much better to be doing." Mineta says grinning. I frown at the little man as he starts to giggle.

Creep

I get out of the water and walk over to him quickly stopping him form moving.

"if you want to be a hero I'd suggest rethinking the way you act around the girls, no lady is going to support a hero like you and I guarantee many heroes won't enjoy working with a womanising leech."

"What do you know!" he asks glaring.

"because, I've seen it happen." I say. I remember it vividly. Mineta, a year after becoming a pro is dismissed from his position because of the way he acts around women, he even ends up on a watchlist because authorities were concerned he'd go too far.

His quirk didn't make it any easier since he could stick people to things. Who knows what he'd do to women if he doesn't get what he wants and he becomes bitter.

"what happened?" he asks shrinking away from me.

"the hero was forced to retire and was also put on a watch list." I say smiling. He moves away from me and returns back to the bath. I go back to where I was before but I kept my eyes on him as well for the rest of the time in the bath.

It didn't take me long before I started to feel dizzy.

"Ah, I'm going to get out, I might pass out." I say lightly.

"alright bro, you right to go by yourself?" Kaminari asks.

"Yeah, I'm not that bad, just a little dizzy." I say leaving the water. I get dried and dressed and made my way to the boys sleeping area to put some things away.

I was praying I didn't get any nightmares while I was sleeping among others.

"Midoriya." I look over to see Aizawa walking towards me. I groan internally. What did he wish to talk to me about now.

"I have personalised quirk exercises for all other students but since you are quirkless you can't do that." he says.

"I know, I was just going to train my fighting." I say smiling.

"I'll come up with a training regimen for you for the camp."

"okay sensei, I'm going to get some food" I ask.

"oh, um, yeah." he answers and I giggled a bit before stopping myself.

"Thanks Sensei." I bow and make my way to the boys room before heading out to get some food. The girls were already out and getting some food.

"Hello Deku." Uraraka calls out waving.

"did you enjoy your bath?" I ask.

"yeah."

"I was so sure Mineta was gonna try to do something, Kota was asked to look out but nothing happened." Momo comments.

"Oh, don't worry, I'll watch him."

"Did you stop him from doing something?" Jiro asks.

"I just said his actions might ruin his hero career." I say picking up a plate. I start to serve myself and sat down with the girls to eat and chat. Soon the boys came out and I feel a glare on my back. I look around to see both Mineta and a young boy glaring at me.

"Is that Kota over there?" I ask.

"Yup,"

"isn't he so cute."

"he hasn't said much to us or anyone since we arrived but he doesn't look very happy to be here." momo comments.

"hm, I see."

Soon we were all in bed. I curl up into a ball to sleep. I knew there'd be a less chance of getting a nightmare if I was in this position.

"please no nightmares..." I mumble.
