Chapter 30 part 1

Mariam's POV:

Shay is staying home today and My mind kept wondering off to her purse! Did she leave it here? Was it on purpose? What if there is some thing in the bag.

"Shay, wake up!" I exclaimed as I sat up in our bed.

"What Mar, don't you see I'm tired!" He mumbled before grabbing a pillow and stuffing his face in it.

"I'm going to check Nisreen's bag." I said casually and he nodded before falling asleep again.

I grabbed her bag off my night stand and carefully tugged the zipper, untill it opened.
The first thing that came into view was an envelope. I got the envelope out and I took off the piece of tape on the back. I pulled the flap opened and there was a collection of pictures. I flipped the pictures on their fronts and gasped at what I saw. They were all pictures of me and Shay!

One was of us walking outside, one picture were of us locking the door. There was another picture with Shay opening the door of his car for me and I was smiling. There were about fifteen more and I shrieked when I saw a small message on the edge of the envelope.

It read, "Surprise Bitch thought you could get rid of me, well guess again and now not only you will pay the full price, but your husband will as well!

Shay came running down the stairs after my shrieking. I wasn't just scared, but terrified. I showed him the note and he gasped. I had no idea my friend would do this too me. But who is K?! Does it mean like okay? Oh god, I have been watching too much pretty little liars.

"First things first, you need to stop the shrieking and scaring me!" He said first and then he looked at the note again before continuing!

"I told you I didn't like that bitch from the first day that I had met her, I need you to stop seeing her!" He said and I nodded.

He was right and I wanted to cry all of the sudden. Dang what is wrong with me today! My mind kept going back to the note!

"What does she mean exactly?" I asked as my voice cracked.

"Listen she won't hurt you, I'm here for you!" He said and I nodded. I looked into the purse and there was a package!

"There is also a..package!" I said to Shay and his eyes widened before he snatched the purse out of my hand,

He opened the package carefully and he took out more pictures of us.

"Holy Fuck!" He yelled as he looked through the pictures.

He was holding them away from me and I couldn't see them. How bad can they be?

"Let me see.." I said and he ignored me completely as he went through the rest of the pictures quickly.

I grabbed a picture out of the pile and it was a picture of him holding hands with his secretary.

"What is this?" I managed to whispers and he just stood there.

"When was this?!" I yelled and this time he took a step closer to me. I examine the picture one more time and then that was it.

"That was way before I married you, Mar!" He said and I scoffed.

"Mar ...listen I can't tell you ho-" he began talking but I held up a hand for him to be quiet.

"Save it!" I exclaimed loudly as I moved past him and I stomped up the stairs while wiping my tears harshly.

I hate how weak I am? One word and I started to cry. I wonder how close him and her were? What killed me the most, was that they looked so in love in the picture! I slammed the door closed and I collapsed on the bed. The pain in my stomach today was even stronger, but I was too numb to feel it.

"Mar, open the door!" He yelled as he knocked on the door.

I didn't answer, maybe he will think about what he's done. He didn't do anything, my inner voice said.

"Open up or I swear I'll knock this door down!" He said and I crossed my arms over my chest, just like a child.

"Do it, I dare you!" I yelled at him and within a minute the door came falling down on the floor with a large slam. I moved back with fear.

"I did it!" He exclaimed through his very deep breaths.

"Does it look like I care?" I said as I pointed to my tear stained face.

"Mar, you know I love you, right?" He asked as he sat next to me and kissed my cheek.

"Sure you do!" I said sarcastically as I played with a string on my shirt.

"I do, and I would never hurt you by cheating on you, love!" He said as he pulled me onto his lap and I sighed.

I forgive him so easily!

"I don't like that you don't trust me!" He mumbled in my neck and I answered him.

"It's not that I don't trust you, it's that I know you and that girl liked each other and were in a relationship and thinking about that aggregates me!" I blurted out and I did not even notice the words that escaped my mouth.

"So your jealous!" He smirked. I hit him with the the hand that he wasn't holding.

"You know I what we should do now?" He asked and I shrugged.

"What?" I asked and then he whispered in my ear.

"We should have a redo of our honeymoon!" He whispered and I nodded. That would be great, just the two of us.

"We should!" I exclaimed in a happy tone

Who would not want to travel?

"Where do you want to go this time?" He asked and I thought for a minute.

"Spain!" I said and he smiled.

"Why Spain?" He asked with a huge smirk on his face.

"I don't know,I think it will be cool!" I said as I kissed his cheek.

"I think you just want me all to yourself!" He said and I blushed because I couldn't think of a comeback.

"You know-" I began but we were cutoff when his phone rang!

He answered and I got off his lap.

"Hello?" He asked and I motioned for him too tell me who it is.

"My cousin!" He whispered and then he went into the guest room to talk.
