Mariam's POV:

"I'm so sorry to say this." The doctor began and my heart rate quickened. Please don't say what I think your going to say.

"You lost the baby. You had a miscarriage!" She continued and my heart broke and I broke down immediately. I swallowed her words one word at a time. I....lo...Los....lost the baby.

"No, my baby is okay!" I yelled at the doctor in front of me. "It's fine!" I said as I pulled my knees to my chest and wrapped my arms around myself. Dear god, what am I going to do? I still feel the connection with my child, call me crazy but I can. It's still there. The doc is just lying to me.

"Miss, please calm down I will go get your husband!" She said as she left the room. She looked scared and I was petrified.

No, how am I going to face Shane? How? He is going to be so disappointed. This kid brought us closer together and now that it's gone.... Is he really here?

"Honey, it's fine." The bastard said as he walked in. Yes, it was Chase the cause of everything that has happened to me.

"Get the hell away from me!" I yelled at him as I wiped my tears furiously. I am going to kill him.

"Sweetheart, calm down!" He exclaimed as he saw the state I was in. He reached for me, but I moved away from him.

"Don't call me that!" I yelled at him as I noticed my scarf was no longer on my head and the jacket I was wearing is no longer on me.

"Babe, listen everything happens for a reason!" He said as he grabbed a bottle of water and handed it to me.

"Your sick!" I spat In his face as I continued to bawl. He did this to me. He caused me to have a miscarriage. It's all this guys fault.

"Now, now love..I'm trying to be nice to you." He said with a smirk and I looked away from him.

"Your so dead!" I mumbled under my breath.

"Actually, I'm quite alive. I'm breathing aren't I?" He questioned me and I scoffed.

"Not for long," I stated the obvious and his eyes widened in my response.

"That's what I love about you princess, you don't take no for an answer and your feisty." He began complimenting me and I rolled my eyes.

"You know what I like about you?" I asked him as I got up and walked closer to him.

"What?" He asked clearly interested.

"Absolutely nothing!" I said and with that said, my hand made contact with his face. I slapped him straight across the face and he brought his hand to his face.

"That's for my baby!" I said and I slapped him again, once more.

"That's for whatever you did to Shane!" I said and when he didn't respond or say anything, I walked out the room and closed the door.

Did I really just do that?
