Your accident, your parents...Mary and her friend's story, Yumeko, Ryota, Terano, Miyo...Yuma..Jun.. as if all of that happened just yesterday. No one knows why Kirari and Mayumi ended their relationship in the first place. Terano's answer remains unchanged, she strongly believes that Kirari just does it for fun. Not even Ririka could answer you or voice her opinion. She who appeared to know everything about her doesn't know? You refuse to believe that.

Everyone wants to point fingers on Kirari for everything that goes wrong for them. Terano blames Yuma's death on Kirari. Not only her, but Jun's death as well. But you saw it with your own eyes. Jun took his own life and so did Yuma.

Despite knowing she did what she did for you— still, you doubted it, deep inside you felt she had nothing to do with Mayumi's suicide. Well, you don't know anything about their relationship, how can you already name her innocent? You had to know. Despite all your failed attempts in making her speak to you about it, here you are again doing your last attempt.

And neither one of you will leave the table until you get your answer. You might have ruined the dinner tonight but if you don't bring it up, you'll never be able to do so ever.

"So, I asked a question. I think you are ready to tell me about it," You said, setting down the chop sticks, "You know you can tell me anything."

The question was not expected, at least not this moment, and you can see the surprised look on her face. She giggled softly then let out a sigh.

"Is it this that had you thinking so widely this evening?" She asked, taking a sip of her saké.

There she did it, just like you thought, answering your question with a question.

You stood up from your chair and banged your palm on the table, "We've been together for almost 4 months now and you still can't tell me what happened between you and Mayumi? I told you everything about me, why can't you?" You frowned, "or is it Kirari? That perhaps it's true what everyone says about you and this is why you don't want me to know? Do you–still plan to finish this all off one day?"

It was the first time you saw her widen her eyes at your words. She slowly looked at you. And with a forced smile she cleared off the shocked feeling off her chest. She also got on her feet and the first thing she did was to caress your cheeks and smiled.

She pulled you into a hug gently, pulling your body against her then whispered near your ear. "As I am. Do you accept me as I am?"

"Huh?" you quickly look back at her confused. She smiled and brushed her thumb over your lips.

"Do you recall those words Y/n?" She asked, tracing her finger on your neck making you shiver a little, "I do. I asked you that very same question before I confessed my feelings for you," she blushed as placed a hand over her chest, "do you remember what was your response?"

You gulped then slowly nodded.

"That's right, you said you did. That you saw no problem with me being who I am, y/n. So then, what if it's true? Why does it bother you?" She sat on the table and pulled you once more against her body again. One of the glass cups fell under the table, it didn't break probably because of the wooden floor.

Luckily, you and Kirari find yourself upstairs of the restaurant where only VIPs are allowed to eat. And no other person was here but you and Kirari.

"What's true?" You pulled away from her again, and stared into her eyes.

"I loved it, Y/n. It was more enjoyable than crushing someone over a gamble. I enjoyed watching her suffer everyday when she came to school. No one noticed her, not even her so-called 'friend'," Kirari smiled, "unfortunately the fun didn't last long."

You were wrong? She planned everything to make Mayumi's life miserable...

"That night she took away her own life, you were the last person she called," you said, making Kirari once again surprised. Lina or Ayumi told you this information, "did she tell you that she was going to kill herself and you didn't want to stop her?"

"Mmm, I wish to know how you know all of these things," she chuckled, she cupped your jaw and lured you closer to her again, "I guess, she was me, afterall."

"Huh? What do you mean by–" you were silenced by a flavorful lips that gave you a light taste of wine at the end. She was drinking saké a minute ago and now she had left the flavour on your mouth as well.

"Y/n, that's enough," she said as she proceeded to aggressively kiss you, her hands guiding you behind her back.

While you weren't in the mood, Kirari was and she cared less if you two were just discussing about Mayumi a minute ago. Well it's obvious she never cared for her...now you feel like Kirari could be feeling just the same. Maybe she doesn't care for you either. Maybe everything she's shown or done to you she has done with Mayumi.

You broke the kiss and pulled away. Your mind was occupied right now, you couldn't quite do this with her, especially right now in this place.

"My~" she said and drank all your drink, "did I scare you much?" She giggled, "Y/n, we should get married as soon as possible. I can't have you running off from me every time you get scared." She giggled once again. She was gone, there wasn't any hint left of soberness. Afterall, it's her first alcoholic drink. You wondered what made her want to get drunk tonight.

You paid the bills and helped her to get in the car. You carried her upstairs to the bedroom, and helped her get undressed. You started with removing her shoes then proceeded with her dress.

"Y/n," she said, making you look over to her.

"Yes?"

"Thank you for tonight, it was a nice place," She smiled. You were about to remove her necklace when you paused at her words.

You nodded and gave her a smile, "There's no need to thank me. You shouldn't 'thank' love, or else it's not love at all."

"Hmm? That's new."

"That's what my grandfather used to tell me," you said, "But I think we should 'thank' love at some point."

"When's that point?" She asked as you removed her necklace.

"Well–" you paused to think, "maybe when someone has saved you by companionship. Or when because of someone you discovered something new. You know, like love stories."

"Mmm. Then," She pulled you into a soft kiss before pulling away, "Thank you, Yn."

For the second time now, she had blushed. But even after that talk, you can't feel it, it doesn't work like that. You can't...you can't.

"I'll bring you a glass of water to help you sober up a little," you said leaving for the kitchen. As you were pouring the water in the glass, you felt a phone vibrate inside your pocket. Curious who it could be, you set down the glass jar, and took out the phone. But it wasn't yours, it was Kirari's.

You set the phone on the table, and proceeded. You wouldn't go through her stuff, but yet two more notifications popped up. What called your attention was that the number was not registered in her phone. So you slide the notification panel down and read the messages from the unknown sender.

Good Night! Is this Kirari?

It's Ichiro, don't ask how I got your number lol

Reply as soon as you get this

You didn't notice how mad you were at the message, until you saw your frowned reflection on the screen.

"Did he really dare to call her by her first name?" You whispered to yourself as you clenched your teeth.
