The breeze...the cold breeze. The way it carried a crisp sound, like the brittle rustle of frosted leaves beneath its touch. Standing before the beautiful wisteria tree, cascading lavender blooms swaying gently in the breeze as it towers before her.

Despite the cold air entering her lungs, it had a fragrance filled with a delicate scent of the blossoms, which seemed to breathe life into the tranquil garden of the Momobami Estate. As she gazed up at the elegant tendrils draping the branches, a deep sense of calm settled within her.

In that still moment beneath the wisteria tree, she embraced a sense of self-forgiveness, her heart aligning with the soft sway of the flowers, finally at peace with herself; her mind. Acceptance, a difficult task, taking her years to finally come to achieve it.

"Forgive me, my darling," she set down a bouquet of beautiful white roses, "You've been by my side through storms and battles, through silence and chaos," she smiled gently to herself, "you are the only one that I'd have given a hug of anguish and distress. Forgive me that I have drawn you a couple of times into my sorrows, distresses, weaknesses and cruelties. Despite all, you never hated me for it or said a word against it. Thank you. Now that I have accepted your departure, I hope you have continued your journey. Follow your own path wherever you are."

Gradually, as her vision blurred, the outlines of her surroundings faded, as if the present was drifting like smoke, giving way to another time. The time she turned to look back, how her past self was compared to now.

The atmosphere has changed, she can feel it now heavy, tense and how familiar it feels. There in that president's office back at Hyakkaou, here is where she found herself. She walked out of the office she knew very well from the carpet to the aquariums and glass windows, she headed towards the student council room where she heard talking.

A silvered haired female, one who she knew very well sat on the table with a male between her thighs. They seem to be discussing something... But of course she knows exactly what they were talking about, it is a memory she hasn't yet forgotten.

As soon as the boy left, she gazed over at the silver haired female walking to the couch and relaxed, she seemed to have plans as she smirked to herself. She followed her as the female made her way to her aquarium to observe the fishes.

"Knowing that he doesn't know what is coming..." the silvered haired woman was saying before pausing. As if her eyes widened slightly at the reflection of herself behind her before turned around quickly and noticed no one was there.

Her eyes opened all of a sudden, her heart pounding as she sat up on her bed. She turned and looked at Y/n sleeping peacefully next to her. She smiled softly, it was a weird dream. She leaned to kiss her beloved on the cheek before snuggling into his arms and resumed her sleep.

Slowly, the sounds around her softened, the ac, the clock ticking all just merging with a distant hum, and her heartbeat slowed, as if syncing with a rhythm she couldn't place. As she drifted further, the dark behind her eyelids grew warm, filling with blue light. Just like that, she was back—standing before the reflection of her own but at the same time not her own. Her eyes looked into the silver haired female blue, intense eyes that gaze into the aquarium.

But it was another day not the same day that she saw herself with Y/n at the table.

"Who are you?" The silvered haired female asked, Kirari's heart skipped a beat. She can see her through the aquarium, her reflection is visible. "I'm wondering how this is possible, care to explain?"

"I—" Kirari stuttered, not even she comprehend what's happened, "I woke up from this dream already—"

The silvered haired female smirked and raised a brow, "Interesting, you look exactly like me yet you are nothing like me. Perhaps, Ririka, trying to prank me?"

"You can see me... and it seems only in the reflection on the aquarium's glass..." Kirari looked around, "and no, I'm you and it seems I was brought to my past when I first started seeing Y/n."

The silvered haired girl smirked, "Y/n? Well, isn't he famous among the ladies..." she let out a sigh, her eyes looking into hers, "he makes a fine pet. You said this is your past huh? Then tell me, Ms. Future, is he worth having around? I'm planning to get rid of him soon."

"Don't," her voice was soft and filled with worry, "Doing such a thing isn't wise. Y/n became someone very special in my life. And I can tell you in the future you will get what you always have wanted... someone to truly love you." She smiled at the silvered hair female causing her to scoff and smirk at her but her smirk fell off when she noticed the marriage ring on her ring finger. Kirari noticed this and added, "and ah yes— well we got married to this guy."

"Married?" The silver haired female let out a chuckle, "now I don't know if I'm supposed to be jealous of you or ask what you were thinking to make such a decision."

"It was one of the best decisions I've ever made," Kirari smiled to herself. A smile of genuine happiness that almost caused the aquarium to crack.

The silver haired female frowned slightly, "That explains why I seem to have changed a lot. I'm looking at you and I find it difficult to accept it's going to be the future me."

"Oh it won't be easy. Y/n and I faced so many challenges. I have hurt him a lot, and I allowed others to harm him as well. But I recall how genuine his love for me was despite it all. May I ask a favour, Kirari?"

The silvered haired female raised a brow, "Oh? You are here to ask for favours? I'd ask you to gamble for the favour but it isn't possible, so go on."

"Take care Y/n. Learn to love him. I know you won't be able to anytime soon but the attempt will be there and all you need is that attempt to lead it to your happiness even if it only lasts for a while."

The silvered haired president gave her a last smirk before humming, "I might consider it..."

Kirari chuckled, she knew that meant yes, "The past can't change, my decisions are placed in cement. I've changed... haven't I?"

I've managed to change...right?

Her eyes fluttered open, the golden light of the sun flashing through the glass windows as she turned to see Y/n still fast asleep. She saw his phone lit up, and she read the message. It read: "Y/n, can you please come pick me up, my vehicle broke down and i'm in the middle of nowhere."

Kirari frowned and deleted the message and blocked the number and tossed the phone aside before snuggling against Y/n sleeping form once again.

Well...there are some things that will never change. And she doesn't plan on changing.
