"Huli ka na nga sa balita, eh. She has a boyfriend na!" saad ni Sien.

Kumunot ang noo koo at tinaasan ng kilay si Pixie na papalapit sa amin habang may hawak na macarons para sa amin.

"Sino naman?" I curiously asked while looking at her.

"Kino. He's the boyfriend," Sien answered.

I gasped. "Kino? I thought you hated each other back then? Lagi mo pa nga siyang bina-backstab."

Kino is one of Lucian's friends. Nagkibit-balikat na lang ako. Napakaliit ba ng mundo para makatuluyan pa nila ay konektado sa kaniya? Ugh!

"What do you mean? We love each other kaya," ani Pixie na ikinairita ko.

I rolled my eyes. "Geez. Parang dati lang you're always saying na I hate him so much talaga, I'll never like him." I even copied the way she talked.

Sien laughed. "Oh my gosh. So true! Ewan ko ba d'yan. Nagulat na nga lang kami magkasama sila."

"The more you hate the more you love. That suits you, Pix," Kate chuckled.

Sumimangot si Pixie dahil sa pangutya namin.

"Ano ba! Stop teasing me. Pati ba naman kayo? Akala ko pa naman kakampi ko kayo," she said.

"Pasalamat ka wala sila dito," Ly said, referring to Damien, Nixon, Santi.

"Shut up! Palibhasa kaibigan ni Kino yung ex no'ng isa d'yan," ani Pixie.

Naningkit ang mga mata ko. "Excuse me?"

"Stop that already. You guys are crossing the line," pigil sa amin ni Kate.

"By the way, Sol. How have you been? How's the company?" Ly change the topic.

I shrugged. "Perfectly fine."

Ngumiwi siya. "Have you heard the news?"

"The what? I'm the CEO. I know everything," I stated confidently while checking my pretty nails.

"You're not sure about that..." Pixie smirked.

Umirap ako. "Just spill it," aniko.

"Have you met the new stockholders? Let's say Clemente's?" Kate asked in a serious tone.

I looked at her confused. "What about them?"

"Last meeting. You didn't attend right? Even if you knew about it, you wouldn't attend," Kate pointed out.

And now, I'm really confused. At nang paunti-unti kong napagtanto ang lahat. Suminghap ako at tinignan sila isa-isa.

"Yes, girl. You're right," Pixie nodded, na parang alam na ang nasa isipan ko.

"I... Didn't know about that. How?" I asked.

Nagkibit-balikat lang sila. "We're also shocked like you. Like, everything between them and us is not in good condition. So how?" Pabalik na tanong ni Kate.

"Well, you're the CEO. You should know about this sh*t," Ly said.

"Mom didn't tell me about it. She didn't mention anyone, so how would I know?"

"It's on our mothers. We all know, na sila ang nakaka alam. And I'm literally confused right now," ani Sien.

As they said, I really should have asked Mom about this. And I'm totally confused, why them? Of all people, why them?

"Mom, what's this I've heard about this issue?" I asked Mom, while I'm here in her office.

Her forehead increased. She got up from her swivel chair and walked towards me so she could kiss me on the cheek.
