"I got news for you, Vani. Do you wanna hear it?" tanong ni Acel.

"If I were you, I would not tell her. That'll just bother her," Kinn said, which made me more curious about what the news that Acel wanted to tell.

"I want to hear it. What is it?" aniko.

"It's about Felix Clemente. I heard that he's not going to his company anymore these past few weeks. And Warren was there, may meeting dapat sila ngayon. But Felix didn't show up. And I think I know the reason is," he stated.

I flinched. Nagbaba ako ng tingin at mariin na napapikit.

Kinn spoke. "It's understandable that he's not showing up in his own company. But it might affect their company. Though, that's impossible. His company never failed."

Kinn and Acel headed out to buy some drinks for them. Habang ako ay naiwan dito sa Veranda at dinadama ang lamig. Kinn and Acel keep telling me that we should just stay inside because it's called here, but I want to feel the cold. I just feel like it

Napalingon ako sa phone kong tumutunog dahil sa tawag. Agad akong napatayo at kinuha iyon.

"Hello?" As I heard that, I froze on my seat.

Mariin akong napapikit nang mapagtanto kung sino ang dahilan kung bakit may ibang nakakaalam ng numero na ginagamit ko.

"Hello? Is this S-Solana?"

I sighed and shook my head. "Yes. Who's this?" I asked even though I knew already.

"This is Yukari. First of all, I'm sorry that I called. A-Alam kong ayaw mo ng kausap ngayon. I just wanted to talk to you. Gusto lang din kitang kamustahin."

I bit my lower lip and closed my eyes. "Yes. It's okay. What do you wanna talk about?"

"Kamusta ka naman?" panimula niya.

"I'm fine. You don't need to worry. Just worry about your baby, Yuka. Don't stress yourself." I don't want you to end like me.

Ayoko nang may mahihirapan pa. She's a good woman who has a good heart. She deserves the best.

"Hindi ko naman maiwasan na hindi mag-alala sa'yo, Sol. Napaka importante mo sa akin. Kung puwede lang na mayakap kita, hayaan kang sumandal sa akin saglit at ilabas ang sakit sa loob mo," anito at suminghot.

"Alam ko ang sakit na nararamdaman mo, Sol. Kasi kahit ako, naiisip ko pa lang na mawawala ang anak ko sa akin, sumisikip na ang dibdib ko. Hindi ko rin kakayanin. Iniisip ko pa lang 'yon noon, naiiyak na agad ako. Tapos malalalan ko na ganoon ang nangyari sa matalik kong kaibigan... sobrang nasaktan ako," anito habang humihikbi.

"Stop crying, Yuka. That's bad for your baby. Stop worrying about me. I am okay. I'll hang up the call now," aniko.

"Solana. Titigil na ako sa pag-iyak, just don't end the call."

"May sasabihin ka pa ba?" tanong ko.

"You're crying again? Who are you talking to?" boses ni Jason.

"K-Kaibigan ko lang. May pupuntahan ka? Gabi na."

"I'm going to Felix's place. He's not answering my d*mn call. Baka kung ano na ang nangyari..." Hanggang doon na lang ang narinig ko.

Kinagat ko ang pang-ibabang labi at mas inilapit pa ang phone sa aking tainga ara mas marinig ang pinag-uusapan nila ngunit napakahina na no'n.
