Falling In Love With Elijah Mikaelson

Chapter 4

"Hi, little cheerleader." He was so cheerful but I wasn't. I pushed him back with wind and stepped into the house.

"I know what you are!" This made him smirk. He went to run at me but I held my hand out and kept him away. "You are vampires! Blood thirsty monsters!"

I felt an arm on my shoulder, I lowered my hand and elbowed them in the gut before moving away. Stefan. I stepped back before realizing, I was in a vampire home with 2 vampires and only one exit!

"I thought I made you forget that." Stefan took a step forward with a confused look in his eyes.

"Compulsion doesn't work on me. Can you guess why?" I kept my braveness up, I couldn't falter with 2 monsters in my sights.

"Your a vampire?" I looked at Damon and showed my teeth.

"Sharp, but no fangs. Last guess." My ears started showing from the fear I was emitting. Soon my ears weren't human like, they were siren ears.

"Siren? But they stay away from land." They both spoke in unison.

"Yes they do. But not when their me. I am a siren and something else. Something vampires hate but want on their side for their strength." I was a Siren-Witch hybrid. Rare but possible, sirens hadd magic already but my magic was like a witch's but more powerful. Witches needed to be alive to be able to use magic, sirens are alive and able to control wind and compel people with songs, change their memories, etc.

We all sat down and talked for hours, I felt like I could trust them, like they weren't like the two vampire that attacked my home. Stefan reassured me the secret is safe and took me home. I went to bed managing to sleep peacefully with only slight nightmare.

I woke up at 7am and made breakfast for everyone. I sat watching the news and eating a pear for a change. I made lunch as well sushi for me while the others got sandwiches.

Last night replayed in my head, I knew their secret and they knew mine. I had to try and be friendly to them now. I got changed into a black tank and hoodie with blue jeans and sneakers. I was ready for the day.

It was a party of some sorts. Elena was cleaning some things for it, I believe its called the Founder's ball or something like that. Elena wanted to go and she was dragging me along with her so I had to go get a dress.

I went to a store and looked at their dresses, I didn't like any of them. I'll just ask Elena for one of hers. The dress options here are ugly. I went back home but saw Bonnie. I walked over and surprisingly hugged her.

"Bonnie!" I smiled and let her go as she turned around.

"Isabelle, your not normally out alone. You ok?" She was actually concerned for me. She was so sweet.

"Elena is inviting me to the Founder thing and I need a dress for it and the ones in the store suuuuuuuck." We both laughed and walked about while talking.

"Wanna go with me?" Bonnie looked at me with a smile. She actually wants me to go with her... how nice.

"Sure! But if it rains I will be wearing a jacket." We both laugh before Caroline showed up to steal her away.

I walked back home and drew until the party. I was told to do makeup so I did a black cat eyeliner with blue smokey eyeshadow. I wore a natural shade of lipstick with a little red tint to it before applying a rosey blush and setting it all. I went to Elena's closet, she gave me free roam to pick a dress. I picked up a black dress and held it in front of the mirror, it looked nice. I tried it on and it fitted.

It was a short length dress with lace at the top. It was beautiful. I went to my shoes and picked out my black heel boots before walking to Elena and Bonnie. I did a twirl and got complimented.

"Wow, Izz you dressed up." I turned around to see a very shocked Jeremy.

"What? Do I not suit it?" I started feeling insecure but he shook his head before hugging me.

"You do it's just weird. Also your burgers are gone."

I laughed and pushed him away.  I told him I'd make more when I'm back. I went to the party with Bonnie, we both laughed at the looks we got. As night fell Bonnie wanted to be alone so I walked about looking at everything that seemed interesting. I grabbed a drink and walked outside before sitting in a chair and looking at the stars.

I didn't know where anyone was, I just stayed alone and looked at the sky. I was calm, it was so relaxing. I soon seen Coraline standing on the grass with Damon. They are talking and she looks scared. I got up and started walking over.

Stefan seen and walked over as well. I looked at the water, I fall in or soaked I will go full siren. I had to stay away from it. I seen him bite her and bring her to the ground. He soon got up coughing, Stefan took Damon while I sat with Caroline.

When she woke up she looked around and picked up a gem. Elena came over and Coraline started shaking and panicking. Elena hugged her and I joined in. After a while we stopped and started making our way home.

I walked to Stefan's and knocked. This time a man that I never knew answered. He smiled and spoke politely towards me.

"Um hi, is... is Stefan home? I wanna talk to him." My tone was shy, until Stefan walked over.

"Zack, she knows it's alright. Come in Isabelle." As soon as I walked in he took me to where Damon was. I looked at him and smiled. Caroline was free.

"So you know about what they are?" I looked at the man I now know is Zack and nod.

"Yes. And I'm guessing they trust you." I seen Stefan nod and we walked back to the living room. "If Stefan trusts you then I do. I am a siren-witch."

"How?" I laughed at his confusion before explaining it to him.

"My dad was a siren while my mother was a witch. Dad didn't want to be away from my mum so when they met he stayed on land, never showing his tail or fins. Mum was powerful, like the Bennett family. When they had me they stayed in hiding until one day they died... father died first, so if I wanted to swim I had to go alone. One day I did and my mother was attacked by a vampire. They wanted me..." I took a deep breath before smiling and looked at Stefan. " But Stefan and Damon aren't like the vampire that attacked my home, they was more harsh and scary, they were faster too."

"So you knew about us from the beginning?" I shook mt head at Stefan before getting up and walking to the door.

"I thought Damon was one when he tried to attack me in an alleyway, his speed was faster than a humans. What really told me was seeing what he done to Mr. Tanner. If he was one, you were one. After all your brothers."
