Chapter 20

I woke up about 5am. I took a shower and got changed into blue jean shorts and a black vest top. I put on sneakers and grabbed my phone before leaving the house. I walked about the quiet streets of the town until I seen who I was trying to find, Elijah.

"What did you want to see me about?" I walked over to him as he stood politely. He was smiling slightly as if he already knew.

"Am I under a spell?" His smile fell and he moved one hand to my cheek but I stepped back and asked again.

"I wouldn't know if you were under one or not. Why do you ask?" He brought both of his hands to his side before tilting his head slightly.

"I read my mother's book, well one of them. There is a spell in there that works like compulsion, for those that can't be compelled. It acts different than compelling but its similar. Once the spell is broke the person become to used to wanting to do what they were told that they will do whatever they said til they die. So I will ask again, did you use a spell in me?" I stood as he shook his head and took a step towards me.

I stepped back but he grabbed my arm and took me to the cabin. He got me food and a drink before sitting on the couch and waiting for me to sit down. I walked over and sat but I refused to be next to him.

"Why would I put a spell on someone that was my friend?" I looked down, he had a point, he was a gentleman, and a man of his word, he wouldn't have put a spell on me.

"Then why do I feel like I have to obey everything you say?" He moved the food closer to me but I refused to eat anything.

"Maybe because you know if you don't your family and friends will get hurt."

"Their going to get hurt anyways, you are planning on using my cousin as a sacrifice for some stupid curse." I looked up at him, anger and pain written all over my face. "I trust you will still kill her and anyone that gets in your way even if I didn't obey you. I only started to when you used that dark scary tone of yours."

"Then your scared I will quicken up the pase and obeying me is a way of making me slow it down. Who know what makes you truely obey me, but..." He got up and walked to the door. "I won't stop until my brother has the doppelganger and the moonstone."

I watched him leave before letting silent tears go down my cheeks. I texted Elena a message saying I will be with Bonnie, even though that was a lie. I got up and walked into the room Elijah had and searched it. My anger making me do things I wouldn't normally do, invade privacy. I kept searching but found nothing, I ran out and all the way home before calling Elena.

"Hello-" I cut her off quickly.

"Where are you?" I was running, using the wind to help me be faster than a vampire.

"Home-"

"Don't lie to me Elena!"

"Ok, I'm with Rose." She told me where she was and I went there immediately.

I slammed open the door and ran to her before hugging her tightly. She hugged back as Rose walked over, I let her go as my teeth extended into sharp one and turned around to Rose. I tackled her and hissed quickly, she moved and took me to a seperate room. She told me she called Damon, I calmed down slightly but my teeth stayed sharp, I heard him walk in to try and get Elena to leave.

I walked out the room to see Damon and Elena arguing. I walked past them and to Rose, I looked at the computer and read through all that I could before going to the kitchen and grabbing a drink. I knew what I had to do. Get Katherine and the moomstone and hand them both to Elijah-

"Don't do it Isabelle. He will kill you when it's done." I looked to Rose and downed the drink before hearing the door slam open.

I ran over to Damon and Elena and seen Elijah kill two vampires by ripping out their hearts. I got the smell of the vampires blood and slowly made my way over. I sat by one of their bodied and picked up their heart. I heard Elijah run away while I let my siren side take full control, I bit into the heart and ripped it apart. I felt stronger than I had in years, I finished the heart before getting up and wiping the blood from my lips and looking at the group.

"Sirens eat every part of flesh and organs, it made them strong... Now I see why. Let's head home!" I walked to the door and walked out side to the car. Damon and Elena followed and we all got in the car.

He drove us home we heard about Stefan so Elena ran off and Damon followed her. I walked in the house with Jeremy and poked the bandage on his neck. He told me what happened so I made him food before going to bed.

I slept til noon and went up to see Elena and Bonnie. They were arguing so I decided to leave to find Caroline. I gave her a call and she said she was at home so I went there. I knocked and she let me in. We talked and she told me what she has been doing.

Helping Tyler with his werewolf side. They found a video of his uncle changing. I offered to help and she told me she was going to the grill for a bit, I went with her and seen her leave with Tyler. I followed and Tyler seemed to be mad, I told him I could help and he reluctantly agreed.

We went to the old lockwood property and we went in. It was a slave place, cells and shackles galore. Tyler started setting things up for his transformation, I sat and watched. I got up and checked the strength on the chains, it was good enough to hold a werewolf. After a while I went outside for some air and let Caroline and Tyler talk.
