Chapter 46

I ran to Elena's thinking of nobody better to help me. I ran inside the house and called out her name, no answer. I ran to the Salvatore's and ran in to see Elena and Damon talking.

"Elena!" I ran to her and hugged her tightly. "Elena, I need help. Please help me."

"Woah, slow down. What's wrong?" Elena pulled me off her and made me look at her.

"Esther is planning on killing her kids, that includes Elijah. You have to help me break the spell, please." For once my voice was breaking while pleading my cousin but Damon and Stefan said it needs to happen for Klaus to die. "..."

"Izzy?" Elena just looked at me as I turned to the vampire brothers behind me.

I raised my hand and they both buckled in pain. "Remember this then. Elijah dies, so do you then I'll wipe you both from Elena's memory, get Jeremy back and live life like this never happened." My voice was dark and full of venom. I stopped what I was doing and walked to the door before leaving.

I walked into the Mikealson house before walking to Elijah and hugging his side as he spoke to Rebekah. "She done a privacy spell."

"She's planning on killing you all..." My voice was quiet so only the two vampires near me could hear.

"Mother wouldn't do that, she wasn't us as a family again." I looked to Rebekah before sighing and letting Elijah go.

"Go ask Elena, she'll tell you the same thing. Plus, rage like that doesn't go away after an eternal rest." I walked out the room and to another while I heard Elijah speed off.

I walked to the garden and watered the flowers before sitting by them just to smell their sent instead of vampire. "I heard you talking, dear." I lifted my head to Esther and darkened my eyes. "No need to be angry, it's what needs to be done."

"I won't be apart of your plan Esther and the next time you use my magic for such a thing I will not hesitate to rip your head off." Anger was all I felt looking at her.

"What if Elijah was near by? He'd hate his mother being killed so he'd attack you."

"His honesty and loyalty knows no bounds yes but," My ears turned to fins while scales shined on my body. I took a scale off and it grew to a bigger one. "Sirens have the ability of fighting back agsinst what their heart wants. I love him, I won't do anything to harm him just knock him out while I deal with you." I cut my skin with the big scale before dropping it.

"What are you doing?" Esther looked confused, good.

"Oh nothing, just making sure I confuse you on my actions and thoughts...seemed to work." I walked away from Esther and out their home, I called Elena but go no answer. I used my wind to take me into the sky before looking around for her. I seen Elijah grab her and leap into a hole.

I landed beside the hole before hearing their voices. I jumped down and looked for them. The hole had tunnels that lead for hours. I soon seen Elena and hugged her tightly.

"Hey..." She hugged back until pushing me away and staring at me. "How did you-"

"I seen Elijah jump into a hole with you and I came after you." I took her hand as we started to walk about, trying to find a safe exit for Elena.

We walked through the tunnels before seeing Rebekah. Elena stepping back, I grabbed and pulled Elena behind me before looking at Rebekah. "Calm down, I can't kill her yet. Elijah's words."

"Elena, I'll be right back." I ran off leaving Elena with Rebekah before leaping out the tunnel with the help of my wind.

I looked for Elijah before feeling weak and dizzy. I grabbed onto a tree before lowering myself down. "Bitch..." I mumbled out before pulling myself up from the ground.  I ran the best I could to the burial site of the witches, my dizziness got worse and worse.

I fell again before feeling arms on me. I looked up and seen Elijah, I smiled weakly before holding onto him as he sped to the grill. I seen Klaus about to hurt Damon but he stopped and looked at the brother holding me. I closed my eyes as more magic drained from me. "Isabelle..." Was the last thing I heard but it wasn't from a Mikealson or a Salvatore.

I woke up on a bed, I stirred around before sitting up. "Elijah..." I looked around the room, it wasn't a room I was familiar with. I slipped out the bed and walked around the room. I picked up a piece of paper that had a beautiful picture of a landscape. The door opened causing me to place the paper down and look to who it was.

"Glad to see your awake. Elijah will be happy to see your un hurt." I walked over to him before hugging him. "Angel, go to Elijah. Comfort him." I let Klaus go and nodded.

I made my way to Elijah but I heard him talking. "All my talk of virtue...when it suitd my needs, I kill, maim and torment. Even today, I terrorised an innocent." He sounded broken...It made my heart break.

"Elena is hardly innocent." Rebekah was mad at Elena still, understandable.

"And I used your hatered of her to get what I wanted. Wielded you like I would a sword. My sister."

"You did it to protect us, Elijah, and rightly so. We deserve to live. We're better than they are."

"Are we?" I walked away from the door and to the front to stand outside for a bit. He was calling himself a monster.

He walked out the house and just looked at me before going to speed off. I grabbed his arm before he could. "Your not a monster, your still a noble man with his heart urning to protect his family. Loyalty comes with a price Elijah...that price is the innocents. Elena knows what you do is for your family. I know what you do is for them but if you want to flee then I won't stop you. I still love you, Elijah, I always will." I leaned up and kissed his cheek before letting him go and walking off.

"You heard my conversation with Rebekah." He caught up to me easiky as I nodded. "Isabelle..."

"No, it's fine if you see yourself as a killer, a murderer, a failure to be noble man or a man that uses his sister like a sword. I see you as a broken man that has done everything he can to protect his family and keep them living. When I look at you I don't see a monster, I see the man I love for who he is. Noble, loyal and broken from the world." I looked to the sky as I spoke. "I want to go with you this time, Elijah, no keeping me here. I love you and I want to be with you."

"My dear, I can't let you come with me. Elena needs you." I looked to him before stopping.

"Elijah! Elena has two vampires that would break anyone to protect her! I have you and you have me!" I looked down before continuing. "I'd kill to keep you safe Elijah. I was going to kill your mother for what she did. My love drives me crazy but you keep me sane. I know you don't want me going with you incase I get hurt, but where's the harm if you get hurt and I'm not there to help you? What if I don't see you again? What if you don't come back and I never know so I just spend the rest of my life waiting for you?" I looked up to meet his eyes again, they were soft like mine. "I don't want to lose you again."

"I'll wait for you then unless your ready to leave now." I couldn't help but smile. I hugged him tightly before feeling him hug back. "We have a journey ahead of us."
