Chapter 41

I woke up to sushi next to me and a hybrid holding an outfit. I walked over and thanked them as they left. I got changed into the long red hoodie and blue shorts before eating the food and walking around the house. I sighed before walking to Klaus, I tapped his shoulder as he turned to me.

"Yes, angel?" His voice was soft but I looked to the door.

"I'm going to have a me day, take a break from all of this crazy shit. If you need me, don't call. I just, wanna be alone." I walked out and went to the cabin before he could even respond.

I cleaned the place up before grabbing a movie and a blanket and spent hours just watching random movies. I thought back to a few times me and Elijah had here.

"Elijah! Spider!" I ran past him as he laughed. He walked into the room I was previously in and took the spider out the cabin.

"You are a witch and a siren but a small spider scares you?" He wore a smile while I just looked at him.

"Shush!" He patted my shoulder before laughing slightly.

"Go back to your paintings." I gave him a hug before thanking him and left the room to continue the painting I was doing.

"Isabelle! How did you get on the roof!?" I looked down at him before dropping leaves onto his face. "Isabelle..."

"It's dirty, I just wanted to clean it. The inside is beautiful so why not have the outside beautiful too?" I sat down with my feet dangling off the roof while looking down at the vampire.

"Get down, you can hurt yourself."

"No, come up and help me...please?" I hears him sigh before feeling wind past me. I got up and helped clean the leafs off the roof. "Thank you."

"Isabelle, dear why do you insist on making this place livable? After you leave, I won't be coming back here." I looked up at him confused. "I'm only here to stop Klaus, I don't expect you to come back here after I have done my job I'll be leaving..."

"Then you won't be going alone."

"Isabelle."

"Elijah, I made it clear to you. I owe you my life for taking me in when I was in the forest. Not only that, your my friend, after the Klaus situation is done then my family is safe."

"Your not going with me." He jumped down and held a hand out to me before helping me down. "I'm sorry."

"Ok...then I'll just live in the cabin and keep it clean incase you visit."

"ELIJAH! HELP! FIRE!" I felt a gust of wind before being pulled away from the fire and it being put out. I looked at him and smiled. "Thank you..."

"How did you make a fire!? We're at the beach!" It was clear he was panicked. He moved to me and checked for any burns.

"I'm a witch remember, I must have started the fire without realizing it..." He placed his hand on my cheek as I looked up at him. I held his hand and looked down. My mind was racing about Sheila and her death, I was angry I couldn't do anything.

"Let's try and cheer your mind up then, it might work in stopping the fires." I nodded as he took me vack to the cabin, he made me sushi while I set the couch for movies. "You like samon sushi, right?"

"Any sushi really. I just prefer samon as it's easier to find." I looked up to see him holding a plate of sushi to me. I smiled before taking it and sitting down to watch movies with him. My mind went from anger to happy at the flick of a switch.

I sigh as I sat up and hugged my knees before realizing I was crying. I wiped my eyes before stifling a sob. I got up and went to the kitchen to get some sushi.

"I really miss you, Elijah. Maybe if Klaus gets you back he'll let you go..."

"I won't do that, angel." I threw the knife back and heard it hit the wall. I turned around and growled. "What?"

"I thought I told you to leave me alone and let me have a me day." I grabbed my sushi and ate it before sitting back on the couch. "What do you want?"

"...I came to check on you."

"Leave."

"Isabelle-"

"I SAID LEAVE!" I looked at him, anger taking over as he walked to the door. "I wanted to be alone."

"I can't bring him back, Isabelle. Not until I feel it is right-" I thew thr plate at him before pushing him out with wind.

I walked to the door and glared at him. "When I want to be alone, leave me alone. When Elijah was awake, he knew to leave me alone...he found out the hard way.." I told him the memory of it.

"Isabelle? Where are you, my dear?" I could hear his voice as I hid under my covers on my bed. I heard the door open before feeling a hand on my shoulder. "Isabelle?"

"I wanna be alone." I tried to make my sobs not to show in my voice but it failed. "Please, leave me alone."

"What's wrong?" I felt him sit by the bed and pulled the cover away from my face and made me look at him.

"Please go, leave me alone." I moved further from him on the bed and cover myself again.

"Isabelle, please talk to me-"

"I want to be alone!" I heard a thud then a groan causing myself to sit up and see what happened. I looked at Elijah who was through a broken table. "Please just go..."

"Isabell-Ah!" I didn't want to cause him pain, it just happened. I used the wind to make him leave my room and to close the door. I heard his pain die down before hearing him at the door. "I'll make you some food and I'll place it at the door...talk to me when you want to dear."

"So you harmed him?" I looked at Klaus before looking down.

"I didn't mean to, I only did because I wasn't left alone. So do the right thing and fuck off." I closed the door before walking to Elijah's room and climbing into his bed to hug his pillow and sleep. I ended up with a nightmare of harming the ones I love because they didn't leave me alone when I asked.
