Chapter 19

I got up and went for a shower. It was a really hot temperature one, to help me calm my emotions. After the shower I went to my room and got changed into blue leggins and a black hoodie. I walked to the kitchen and grabbed some raw cod Alaric bought for me, I ate it without hesitation. I put on my boots and left for school.

I sent a message to Elijah's old number while walking. 'Elijah, that was very stupid of you. I know your dead but that was really bad. Getting Elena for something, that made me mad. But seeing you getting pierced by a wooden pole of some sort hurt somehow... I guess I should say I'll miss you. Bye forever.' I put my phone in my bag and walked into school and straight to the library for research on a quiz.

I checked my phone and seen a message from Caroline 'Go to the Salvatore house.' I groan and put the phone away. I put the books I took off the shelves back, then went out school and to the house. I was walking quickly.

Once there I walked in and seen Rose. I walked over and sat on the couch and Damon stopped talking. Rose looked at me before pointing.

"Your Elijah's girlfriend, aren't you?" This caught Damon's attention, he sat down and stared at me.

"One, no. Two, he was my friend before he killed my mother and father. He told me about Elena, I had to go to him. He also told me to hold his hand so you and your friend wouldn't kill me. He used a scary voice, I just obeyed instantly."

"If he told you to attack us, would you?" Damon sounded angry, I would be to because my answer was yes. " Isabelle!" He used the same dark tone but it didn't scare me.

"Fuck off! He was scary! And after knowing he aided in killing my mother, I... I obeyed like a puppy for a treat! I don't want to be next when all my family and friends need me. If that means to obey him then I will, longs if you all are safe... even Rose now. She didn't harm Elena at all, I owe her for that."

"Elijah just kileld your mother for no reason?" I looked to Rose and shook my head.

"She was a Crow witch, a powerful one. Me being her daughter makes me the same power or worse. My father was a siren so I'm a half breed. I am powerful as Elijah said. His brother would want me on his side for something, I don't know what." I got up and grabbed some alcohol to down.

"He would want you for the sacrifice and protection, that is of the brother you speak of, Niklaus."

"Ni-who?"

"Let's go somewhere more outside. I know a great place." Damon got up and followed Rose out after a warning. I followed and got in the car. She drove to a cafe and we went in.

After a while, I was staring out the window and saw a man taking money out a guitar case after placing a dollar in, odd. I picked up my cup and drank from it, these people know how to make a siren enjoy her drink. They added in fish blood for me and added whiped cream on top of my hot chocolate, it is sooooo good!

Soon the glass windows shattered, I looked out to see the one man I thought was dead, Elijah, how? It was a stake! The coat rack thing was fully wooden. The vampires in the building screamed but my eyes stayed on Elijah. He motioned me to go over to him, I put my cup down and Damon grabbed me before I could move. He did the same motion again so I moved away from Damon and out the broken window. Damon got Rose out of there, while Elijah waited for me.

I walked over to him and he held out my father's necklace. He put it on me while whispering in my ear. "That was a nice message, especially the 'I'll miss you' part. You were hurt I died yet you leave me with this necklace, why?"

"If I saw the necklace again it would have told me you were alive. If I didn't then you got to keep it. I... I don't know why I done it..." I felt his hands rest on my shoulders before he walked away. I looked at him and seen one of his hands were cupped, like he was waiting for a hand. "I can't Elijah, you were gonna use my cousin for a sacrifice. I need to protect her..."

I took a few steps back before running home and going to my room. I got changed into my pyjamas, shorts and a vest top before lying on my bed and placing a hand over the necklace. He was back... How can I protect everyone when I obey him withing a second? Maybe there is a spell for this, I hope there is. I can get this fixed.

I called Bonnie and asked her if she could help, she could but she was busy so I told her whenever was fine. I grabbed my own book and flicked through the pages but came across a page I had never seen before. I started reading it and found out there was a spell that could make someone obey you without compelling. I checked for any way to reverse it but my mother had multiple books and it wasn't organised at all. I couldn't find it so I placed the book down and groaned.

The book said that when under the spell, you don't reconize your actions as your own once they were done. After the spell is broken you are finaly free but you feel an unwanting attachment to doing the things you were ordered to do. Like starting a fire under the spell then once your free you get the urge to burn almost everything until you die. I have a feeling I am under this spell but, there is no way to test it, unless Elijah was here.

I sent him a text asking where he was, I waited patiently for a reply but I soon became tired so I passed out cuddling into my pillow.
