Chapter 37

"So who were those two?" I fell down onto the floor and cried my heart out until my tears grew dry. "Isabelle?"

"It was my parents...their gone forever now." She walked over before placing a hand on my shoulder. "Can...Can I be alone tonight?"

"...Ok. I'll be back tomorrow." She walked to the door as I got up and thanked her. I made my way to Elijah's room and hugged his pillow.

I could only think on the happy times my parents and I had, the times we ran about just to chase each other to the times we all went swimming. I passed out but got woke up by Elena calling me about some cave Alaric and Damon found, it had an old story.

Turns out they were the Mikaelsons names and the vampire hunter that could kill Klaus was his brother. I went back to sleep until the sun was high up. I went to Alaric and lookes at the pictures he took, I smiled while looking at them, mainly Elijah's name in runic writing. Elena left and Damon just stared at me.

"Did Rebekah speak about this to you?" I threw a book at him which he quickly moved out the way of.

"No, why would she?" He groaned before walking off. "Elijah told me who Mikael was though, the vampire hunter. I told him of my parents before Niklaus killed them even if he already knew so he told me of his. I'm gonna go see him!" I left the building and went to the cemetery and walked to Mikael's eternal home.

I walked in and went to his grave, well stone grave. I leaned on it before looking at him, he didn't look frightening but they all feared him. I looked at the candles and lit them up before sitting on the edge of the open casket. "Why do they fear you?" I knew he wouldn't respond but it calmed me to speak my mind.

Elijah only told me they feared Mikael but not why. I guessed he was a ruthless father instead of a loving man. I sighed before biting my wrist and putting it above his lips and watched it drip down onto the body as his eyes opened.

"Hello." I got off the grave and smiled to him before placing my hand above his arms. "Why should I not release you? Why did Elijah and his siblings fear you?"

"Why should I tell you?" He got angry and tried to grab me but it failed. I pushed him down and showed my fins. "What..."

"I'm a siren and a witch. I could put you in an eternal rest while keeping your body intact." I moved to the candles before blowing them out and walking back. "Why do they fear you, tell me and you will still live."

"Why do you care?" He looked up at me as I moved around. I placed my hand on the grave before looking at him.

"Because...I care for the two siblings I have found to be friends or more. Elijah and Rebekah. Why do they fear you?"

"Because I gave them their immortality and I know how to take it away." I looked at him while in thought before handing him my wrist. He drank my blood but stopped when I pulled away. He got up and out the grave, I finally noticed the body of Katherine on the ground. "Thank you for the extra strength."

He threw me at the wall but he didn't expect me to get up and walk out and into the night covered world. "Niklaus has caused problems, go." I walked off as he sped past me and into the distance. I went to the cabin before checking over everything and finding a basement I never knew existed.

I walked down the steps before finding old clothing, things from the past. I walked deeper and found something unique. I walked over and picked it up, it was a witch's necklace but it wasn't from the original witch, it was from a crow.

I picked it up before going uo the stairs and closing the door and covering it again. I walked towards my room and sat down, I watched the pendant as it spun in my hand as I held it up. It was silver but had two sections, one for vervain and one for wolsbane. I put it on and felt the magic go around my heart.

"That was strong." I walked out before running to Bonnie. I grabbed her arm and showed her the pendant. "Bonnie, this is my family's. It's strong, I feel stronger just having it on but..." i took it off and put it on Bonnie. "You have it...my family was always there to protect a Bennett, we don't have to now. Your strong enough so this eill connect my mother and her family to yours. I have to go, I need to go find Mikael." I ran off after speaking and looked about the town for a certain old vampire that didn't want to be found.

I heard crying so I went in the Salvatore house and seen Rebekah crying. I ran over and crouched by her and hughed her. "He killed her...Nik killed my mother..."

I held her close before playing with her hair. I got up with her and left to the cabin, I got her blood, chocolates, ice cream, blankets and random movies. We sat on the couch watching the movies and I done nothing but help Rebekah. She gave me space when I needed it so I must help her back.

After a while she fell asleep and I took her to her bed before cleaning up and staying awake on the couch incase she woke up screaming. She did a few times so I ran over and helped her get back to sleep. She was just a young girl when her whole family changed, I didn't want her to be stuck being in pain.
