Chapter 21

I stayed outside before hearing Tyler in pain. I ran in and looked in horror as I saw him in pain from his transformation. I backed up and told Caroline I was leaving to go home. I waved and left. I ran home, the noise of Tyler in pain rang through my head.

I walked in the house and to Elena's room. I went to knock but I hard Elijah, I opened the door and closed it with force before pulling Elena behind me.

"He's not trying to kill me, Izza. He is trying to lure out his brother so he can kill him." Elena tried to convince me he was on the good side. I pushed Elena so she landed on her bed as I went to attack Elijah.

He grabbed my arm before I could even hit him. I went to punch him again and he pulled my arms down and spun me around so my arms were behind my back. My back was to him as he held me still. I tried to escape but he just kept a hold of me. Elena tried to calm me down but refused to get near Elijah and me. I brought my leg up and slammed it down on his foot. He let me go and I turned around and punched him in the chest.

"Your lying to her now? God your a jerk-" He covered my mouth so I couldn't raise my voice any louder. I bit his hand and he removed it, his face showed he was getting angry with what I was doing.

"Isabelle." That tone... I stopped and apologised to him and Elena. He pulled me to sit on the bed before taking a breath and calming down. "Isabelle, I lied to you not her. I told you that your family and friends will be hurt if they don't give me what I wanted. That was a lie. I am trying to lure Niklaus out so I can stake him and rid the world of his evil doing."

I got up and hugged him quickly. A part of me thought he was lying but the majority of my mind wanted to hug him. He hugged back and I smiled before giggking a bit. "That's the gentleman I know, the one that helped me."

"Wait. He is the friend you stayed with?" Elena got up and stood with a confused and a slight anger on her face.

"Yes." Me and Elijah spoke at the same time. I stopped hugging him and pointed to the window.

"You need to go now. I'll come by later and we can talk more about your plan." He nodded and left. Elena grabbed my arm and glared at me. "Elena, I know he is a jerk but he is sweet once you know him. Lets trust him and if he is lying, I won't mind ripping out his heart and eating it."

"You backed down when he said your name and you apologised so quickly."

"It's the tone he used, ok. It scares me."

"Izza, anyone uses a scary tone with you and your freeze up."

"Damon tries and I just slap him now. Just give me time and I will beable to do the same with Elijah." I handed her some pyjamas and walked to the door. "We will talk in the morning, sleep well Elena."

"Could you... Could you stay? Like a sleepover? Incase he comes back?" I nooded and went to the garage to changed into a blue tank top and random shorts.

I walked back up the stairs after grabbing some snacks and drinks. I knocked and walked in to see her changed and setting a spot up for me. I placed the snacks down and helped her set up a bed. After a while of eating junkfood and drinking soda we lied down and went to sleep. I stayed awake to keep an eye on her, I don't want her having a nightmare.

I silently got up and grabbed my phone before slowly going to my contacts and messaged someone then another person I never thought I would have to.

'Elijah was at home, Jenna invited him in. I am here with her, she's alright but we all need to talk. Do not come over Damon, I mean it.'

It wasn't long until I got a message back from him telling me to rest, he will patrol the house and we all will go to his house in the morning. I thanked him then cuddled into the pillow Elena gave me to use. Soon sweet sleep took over but I forgot about the nightmares. I woke up to Elena shaking me and asking if I was alright.

"Nightmare, that's all. Sorry Elena." I sat up and stretched. She motioned me to the bed before dragging me over and placing me on it. "I'm fine on the floor!"

"We are gonna cuddle, I noticed when you have something or someone with you to cuddle." She got on the bed and cuddled into me. I cuddled back and we both fell asleep quickly. No nightmares, just a smile on our faces.

We both woke up to Jenna and Jeremy taking pictures. I sat up and Elena got up before going to the bathroom. I smiled at Jeremy and Jenna before giving them a hug and going to the garage to change.  I put on a black skirt with a navy blue blouse. I put on my black heel boots and walked back to everyone. Jenna wasted no time in grabbing me to brush my hair and styling it to make it seem fluffy.

I went up to the bathroom, done what I needed to do then made breakfast for everyone. I checked my phone to see a 'good morning' text from Elijah making me smile. Then I frowned getting one from Damon. 'Remember we need to talk.' I put my phone down and handed everyone their plates before eating my own.

"Why do you eat a lot of fish?" I looked at Jenna, her face was curious and she had some food on her fork.

"Uh well, I really like fish. I guess you can call me a Pescatarian." I finished my food and grabbed my phone and purse. "Elena, come on we gotta go talk to Damon. He needs help with some emotions."

Elena got up and I waited for her to get ready. We soon went to the Salvatore house and walked in. Damon ran over and checked us quickly. I pushed him back and walked to the couch.

"Before going to sleep I asked Elijah to do me a favor, for Elena's sake." They both sat down before I spoke again. "I asked him to free Stefan from the tomb with Katherine. I just hope he has, now I owe him twice. It would be three times but I gave him my blood so it's twice."

"So Stefan is-" Damon was but off by Stefan walking in. "What about Katherine?"

"She won't be joining us, she is still in the tomb." He sat down and glared at me. "Elijah also told me one thing about you. You saved a bunch of people by singing."

"It's a siren's compulsion, its why I don't sing. It is why I will never sing unless I have to. And it doesnt work on vampires just humans." I twiddled with my thumbs before getting up and walking about. "I also may have Elijah's number and I kinda need to go see him now you you lot talk. Bye!" I ran out the house quickly but Damon grabbed me. "Damn it..."

"Not so fast. Rose needs your help. She was bitten by a wolf." I got out his grip and went to Rose.

She showed me her mark and I grabbed the first aid kit and started to help. It was spreading, getting worse. I felt bad for her, so for now I'll help her out while Damon, Elena and Stefan talk. Well Stefan wanted to find Isobelle, Damon agreeded so Elena came over and helped me with Rose.
