Chapter 45

I walked out with the family and Elena to see Damon and a out cold Kol. Damon left while I moved from Elijah's side and went to Kol's side. I checked his neck and surely it was snapped, he would come back.

I picked him up and went inside as the others joined. I placed Kol on his bed before moving to Elijah and sitting with him, Rebekah and Klaus. After a while, Elijah left to his mother before coming back. I felt dizzy after feeling the power of a spell taking some of my magic.

I got up and walked out the room before falling to the floor, Elijah was at my side instantly and helped me up. He was asking if I was ok but everything was blurry and spinning making me feel sick, I felt if I spoke I'd puke. I leaned onto him before closing my eyes and trying to fight the magic taking mine. Elijah held me close before picking me up and sitting me on the couch with him beside me.

"Is she alright?" I heard Klaus' voice before seeing darkness take over my sight.

"I have no idea, she fell and won't speak." I heard Elijah speak before holding me closer. The darkness took my entire sight and soon I heard nothing but my own breath.

I woke up on a bed and someone holding my hand, I opened my eyes and looked at who held my hand, it was Elijah. I smiled before sitting up and pulling his arm so he'd wake up. He looked up at me before smiling and sitting beside me.

"What happened?" I leaned on him before cuddling into him. He wrapped an arm around my back to hold me close before resting his head on mine.

"I don't know...I'm guessing Bonnie used my magic for a while or something. I became dizzy and my sight blurred and spun so it must have been a strong spell. I'm okay now just sore from hitting the floor and I still feel slightly sick." I placed a hand on his before smiling as he rubbed my side gently.

"Call her and ask in the morning. It's 3am." He moved as I slipped down the bed so my head was on the pillow, he moved off the bed but stopped when I grabbed his arm. "Yes?"

"Stay on the bed, please. We can cuddle and sleep." I let his arm go before realizing I could breath without a problem. "Who changed me?"

"Rebekah and mother did." He lied beside me and flixed the blanket as I cuddled into him. "Are you sure your ok?" He wrapped his arm around me as I rested my head on his chest.

"I'm sure. Let's sleep, hopefully by morning my body doesn't ache." I felt him kiss my head before agreeing. "Good night, Elijah."

"Good night, my dear." I closed my eyes before letting sleep take over.

I woke up to Klaus laughing. I opened my eyes before seeing him at Elijah's door holding his sides. I groaned and pulled the cover over me and Elijah before closing my eyes.

"Awe, don't be like that ange-" I cut him off before removing the blanket and sitting up.

"Fuck off you pain in the ass and let me sleep." I felt an arm wrap tighter around my waist and pull me back down making me go quiet, I cuddled back into Elijah and stayed silent.

"Klaus, she needs her rest, please leave and let her sleep a little longer." I felt his body move as he went on his side and kept me near him. "Go back to sleep my dear."

"...I'm not tired, now..." I looked at him, my cheeks a visable red. He smiled before removing his hands and got up. "Awe..."

"I'll get you breakfast, Klaus leave her alone." I watched Elijah leave before sitting up and crossing my legs.

"So he's not mad about me calling you, angel?" Klaus walked over and sat on the bed looking at me.

"No but I still am-Ah fuck!" I grabbed my head as my hearing turned from perfect to loud ringing. "Make the ringing stop!"

I felt the bed move before feeling Klaus covering my ears trying to help. Rebekah, Kol and Elijah ran in to see us, I had tears slowly going down my cheeks as the ringing only got worse.

"Klaus, what did you do!?" I heard Rebekah yell before Klaus moved his hands, the ringing only got louder. I grabbed his hands and put them back, it numbed it slightly but not fully. "Ok, I'm confused."

"She's hearing a ringing noise, it's starting to hurt her. I guess my hands over her ears slightly help." I heard Rebekah and Elijah zoom to me while Kol stayed at the door.

"I'll get mother." I watched through blurred and tear filled eyes as Kol left and Elijah took me from Klaus before placing my head to his chest and covering my ears.

"We're here, Isabelle." I held onto him as I cried from the pain. Were the witches mad at me still? Was it from the spell last night? Was I targeted?

"I need to go to the witches death site, I need to apologise...their probably causing me pain for making them mad." I heard a lady clear her throat from the door making me look. "Esther..."

"You angered your own kin?" I looked down before moving from Elijah and to the end of the bed. Tears still going down my face as the ringing just got worse. "Why do such a thing?"

"They had Elijah!" The ringing stopped as I looked at her. "I went to harm Stefan for taking my witch things, the witches fought with me. Made me see illusions of my parents and Elijah to make me break but it made me more angry. I snapped at them an they left me alone, Stefan was gone but the coffins were there. I knew they wouldn't let me near the coffins so I left, their still mad at me and it's my fault!" I lowered my head before placing my hands over my eyes. "I don't like what I did, I don't like threatening or breaking my bond with the witch ansestors but... but they hid the man I care from from me and I... I'm sorry I just need to go."

I got up and ran out the room and out the house. I uses my wind so nobody could catch up to me, I went to the old witch burial sight and walked into the building. The candles lit while I walked deeper into the house. The ringing started again but this time I felt magic hitting me over and over again.

They never said anything just caused me pain. I fell to my knees before crying more. "I'M SORRY!" The pain stopped as I felt a presence in front of me. I looked up and let more tears fall. "Mother, I...I'm so sorry! I shouldn't have-"

"Elijah will die, Belle. If one sibling dies they all do. No witch had a say in what I was doing to get you here. I am so sorry for hurting you dear but it was the only way to get you here. Esther, the orignal witch and the cause of vampirism, done a spell to link her children as one." Her soft voice calmed my tears as I looked up at her.

"...She did what?" I got up and my mother repeated it before fading. "...Is that why I was in pain last night?" The candles flickered before going out. "...Thank you, Mother."
