Chapter 26

Later that night, I was upset until Stefan told me that Elena knew the deal with Elijah would end up in her dying. That made my saddness turn to anger. Alaric was always sweet to me since that night, he was starting to be more father-like.

Damon told me that earlier in night when Elijah was killed, keeping the dagger in him would have kept him dead but since Alaric removed it he came back and disappeared, but Elena dealt with the problem and he is it the basement of the house. He also told me that Elena was in danger and Bonnie lost her magic to the Martins, Elijah's witches. That made me even more mad.

I went to the Martin's and slammed the door open. I walked in and threw Jonas at the wall and walked to his son, Luka. I grabbed his head and slammed it against the wall before looking at the father with rage. "HARM A BENNETT AGAIN AND I WILL MURDER YOUR LIFE LINE AND MAKE SURE THAT YOU SUFFER! CROWS FIGHT FOR THEIR FAMILY AND SHE IS MY FAMILY!" The fear in his eyes showed he knew who my family was.

I dropped his son and walked over to him before grabbing his clothes and pinning him to the wall with my teeth showing. I was furious, Luka went to attack me but I dropped Jonas and walked out.

I went home and lied on the couch, letting sleep take over and my nightmares to begin. School was gonna suck so much with my lack of sleep, I'll just take my medicine and go.

I wore a long blue hoodie and black jeans with my boots while going to school, I didn't see Elena so I ran to the Salvatore house. I opened the door and followed their voices, I froze when I seen double.

"Elena?" They both looked at me and by smell I ran at Katherine and tackled her. "You should be in the tomb Katherine!"

"How did you know?" I looked at Elena and smiled before saying scent. "If we have different scents then how come Damon and Stefan can't tell the difference?"

"I'm a siren, I have better smell. Plus Katherine looks like adorable you so they get fooled easily." I got up and went to Elena and hugged her. "You are adorable, Katherine is a bitch I will gladly kill for you." I smiled sweetly and let her go.

After a few minutes, Elena and Stefan went to school in Stefan's car while I walked. Once I reached school it was class time so I headed to my first room and sat through it, taking notes and pretending to be a teenager.

When lunch came around, I went outside and ate my sushi before meeting up with Alaric. He talked to me about Jenna, it was unfair not letting her in the loop. It was, she thinks we ditch class, we're ok and we're complete normal kids. I told Alaric to wait until Elena is ready to before giving him a hug and leaving.

I went to the grill and met up with Stefan and Bonnie. The Martins were with them, Jonas went to get up but I forced him back into his seat before sitting on the table. "We need your help Jonas, and your son's help too. Hear them out."

They reluctantly listened but Bonnie managed to get them on our side by talking about Jonas' daughter, well I thought they were. I felt bad for them but that doesn't make up for harming Bonnie.

I left with Stefan and we parted ways once he entered his home. I went to the basement while he went to talk to Damon and Katherine. I sat by Elijah's body and seen he was slightly burnt. I grabbed some water and did my best to clean some of the burn off him before gerting another suit and placing it nearby. Damon or Stefan can change him, I don't wanna do that or see anything.

I held my necklace before going up to everyone. Katherine backed away but I looked at her arm, the chunk had healed, but a slight marking was left. It made me smile. Damon mentioned something about a witch kill sight, I looked at him with worry but he walked over and placed a hand on my shoulder.

"We'll be ok. We have the Bennett witch and you. Hopefully you can get her magic back-" I cut him off by moving away.

"No. No, a witch burial sight isn't good for any witch. We feel their magic, we can sometimes be overcome by their magic and passout or worse, take it and over power their body to the point of insanity or death!" Damon grabbed my shoulders and made me look at him.

"We won't let that happen to Bonnie or you. Elena wouldn't either, now go home. It's going to get late and you have a girl's night with said witch and cousin with a vampire." He let me go and I nodded before leaving.

I ran home and got everything set for the girls. Caroline went to order pizza but Bonnie done it instead. Then it was movie choice and Jenna walked over. Jenna joined and we all talked. Caroline spoke from the heart about truth.

We ended up going to the grill to dance, it was fun. I was made to wear a skirt and a top while they all wore casual. I knew what they were trying to do, help me move on and I loved them for it. The music wasn't my type but the atmosphere was awkward.

I felt something off, like something was being drawn from me. I left and followed the drain, I went to the Martin house and walked in. I ran over and helped Jonas with his son, he was burnt and not breathing. I tried to do the same spell and kept failing. Jonas soon yelled at me saying it was my friends fault.

I grabbed what he was holding and snapped it in half, soon Stefan walked in and Jonas left after putting him in pain. I helped Stefan up and ran to the grill, Elena was in trouble. I got in and moved past everyone before seeing Elena move outside. I walked out after her and kept an eye on her, she was all I cared about right now.

The lights went out, popping, I walked in and seen fire, people panicking and Bonnie on thr floor. Elena tried talking to him, Caroline attacked and Matt got stabbed with glass. I felt patches of skin turn to scales, my ears to fins and my eyes to slits. I ran to Jonas and tackled him to the ground. "WHAT THE HELL DID I SAY ABOUT ATTACKING MY FAMILY!?"

I bit into his neck and ripped out his throat before standing up and running out to my home. I helped Matt out the building with Caroline before going home fully. I ran so fast nobody saw me, I ran in the house and slammed the door shut. I was grabbed by Jeremy, he looked at me confused but as soon as I saw him I relaxed.

I soon heard a noise and ran up the stairs, Jonas was on the floor two bites in his neck. He soon came jolting to life and attacked Bonnie, but that soon came to a hault when he screamed out in pain. I was making his memories change in his mind, his life was hell so I made it complete. Stefan snapped his neck and I hugged Bonnie quickly.

After a while, Jenna came home. Katherine left and we all cleaned up quickly before she entered the house. I sat in the garage, collecting my thoughts and calming myself down quickly. I went to bed regetting letting my protect side snap again.
