Chapter 9

After a long ride, taking Bonnie to our home and Elena listening to what I was explaining. Elena told Bonnie everything and I could see she was crying. I heard the front door so I walked over with Jenna and Logan was at the door. Her ex. I stayed away while they talked. He kept asking to be invited in, she kept saying no.

I watched from the window and seen him walk over to an elderly man, the man walked away but a woman jogged past. She stopped and talked to him, I heard her scream and him biting her neck. Vampire!

I went to bed after telling Jenna to never invite him in. I woke up and got changed into a blue vest and black jeans. I left with Elena and Jenna. They talked while I was in my own mind. I ended up walking to the Salvatore house. I knocked and Stefan invited me in. I sat on the couch with him amd told him Bonnie was ok. We had school but I didn't wanna go, I couldn't. Elena and Bonnie know what I am and I bit Damon.

Damon walked in the room and the chief or sherrif as they call them here was with him. He took her to the door and she left. Stefan attacked him but Damon mentioned another vampire was here. Stefan then left so it was just me and Damon. I was silent while he poured himself a drink.

"Want some?" I looked up and said no. He downed the glass and poured another before sitting down. "Why are you here?"

"School would be awkward. How do you explain to Elena and Bonnie that I went into protection mode without realixing it until this morning. It's a blur but I remember biting you. Sorry for that." I was apologetic and sat beside him before taking his arm to see the bite mark. I saw the punchers my teeth made and looked down upset.

"Your sad you bit a vampire?" He laughed and moved his arm.

"I'm sad I bit my friend, Damon. But Bennetts and Crows have always protected each other, it's bad for anyone that harms her." It was clear I was going to cry but I felt a hand on my lap making me look at who owned it.

"I figured that out the hard way. I gotta go find out where this vampire is" Damon got up and placed his glass down before leaving. I got up and decided to clean the house.

After what felt like hours, Damon walked in and he was bleeding a lot. I ran over and seen he was weak. So I done the only thing I knew a vampire needed to get strength. I helped him to the couch before holding my wrist to him.

"You said you would rather die-"

"Just drink it! You need strength so only take some then call Stefan and tell him what happened..." He took my arm and bit into it harshly. I covered my mouth to stifle a pained scream as he drank some blood.

Once he had plently I went to move my hand but he kept a strong grip on it. I used my wind to push him further into the chair expecting it to work, it didn't, I got pulled near him and I was really close to his face.

"D-Damon...please stop." He stopped before smirking and getting up.

"Thanks and your blood, it's like gold to a rich man."

"Huh?"

"It's delicious and seeing your face go red was a bonus." His smirk got wider as I threw a pillow at him.

He left to his room while I bandaged my wrist. I walked to a mirror and checked, my face was red. I groaned before walking back to the couch and cleaned any bloodstains off it. Damon soon ran down the stairs and went to the door.

"They found him! Come on!"

I grabbed my bag and ran over and we both left. I got in his car and he drove to the school. The ride was silent, but Damon kept smirking.

"Please drop the smirk, Stefan doesn't need to know about the blood."

"Oh but he does Isabelle. He does."

"Damon."

"Fine, but you did that on your own free will. We had blood packets-"

"Animal ones. You prefer fresh, warm human blood and I was the only closest thing for you to bite."

"You were close to me." I punched his arm as he stopped. Stefan told Damon where to go and they both ran off.

I used my wind to run after them, I kept up to them and smiled until I saw Logan and CAROLINE!? I stopped out of fear of Logan but Damon shot at him so I ran to the car and checked on my friend. She was unconscious, that set my mind at ease but my anger rose. I walked over and took the gun from Damon before dropping it and walking over to Logan and taking the bandage off. Stefan and Damon dealt with the van while I dealt with Logan.

"Go ahead, bite me. See what a siren tastes like before you die. I hear its like the wonders of the ocean."

As soon as he bit my arm I stepped on his private area and grabbed one of his arms and snapped it, he soon let go of my wrist. Damon walked over and he was holding a tire iron and swinging it. He asked who turned him and Logan said he didn't know. I backed away and watched. He threatened Logan and the answer stayed the same until he swung.

Logan talked about another way into the tomb, I'm guessing Katherine's tomb. I'm looked down as sirens came, police sirens, Damon pretended to be hurt and the sheriff believed him. I looked at the way Logan ran.

"I'm going after him." I started running but Damon grabbed my arm.

"Isabelle, you will die. He is a vampire." He faked his concern making me rip my hand from his grip and slap him.

I lowered my voice before looking at him. "I gave you my blood because I felt sorry for harming you. All you care about is a vampire that turned you, she was most likely a bitch so I don't care if I die. Longs if Elena is safe." I ran after Logan and went to the old church. I wanted to protect Elena but deep down I was breaking. I never met an asshole like Damon in my life and when I was drunk he took care of me, I fell for him so fast and now I was feeling what is left from that... heartbreak and soon nothing.
