Chapter 6

I heard Jeremy and Vicki talking. I soon heard Matt before walking out the garage to meet them. I seen Vicki act different, he turned her... I left the house as Elena and Stefan walked in. I ran to the Salvatore house and walked in.

"Damon! Have you lost your mind!?" My anger replaced any fear I had. He was soon at my side and pinned me to the wall. "Asshole."

"I told you, your dead." He started squeezing my throat, making it harder to breath. I pushed him away with wind before walking to him and pinning him down. I saw him glare at me but that didn't stop me.

"You turned her! Do you have any idea how bad that is!?"

"Please, it's not bad. It's fun."

"Damon-" Before I could finish my sentance he flipped us, I felt my cheeks heat up from what is happening. A male was pinning me, this never has happened before.

"You like this? Who's bad now?" I shot him into the ceiling and moved. I got up and walked to the the door.

"Just don't turn anyone else asshole! And I didn't like it! I haven't been punned by a male before." I left the house and walked home. My heart was racing, I didn't like it but it did make me flustered.

I stayed in my room until the next day. I grabbed my clothes and got changed. A white skirt with a black blouse. I put on a cute black zip up hoodie before getting food. I'm gonna stay away from Damon at all costs, he won't let what happened go.

I ate and left with Elena. It was Halloween so it means dress up as something for a party at the school. I didn't want to do it but it will help Elena with her breakup. Her and Stefan broke up once Vicki was turned.

I went with her to the Salvatore house, Damon answered. Shit. Elena and him talked, until she said something that made me want to pull her away.

"How can you be so arrogant and glib after everything that you've done?" She wasn't being cocky or nice. She was being confident and annoyed.

"And how can you be so brave and stupid to call a vampire arrogant and glib?" He was being his usual cocky self.

"If you wanted me dead, I'd be dead."

"Yes, you would."

"But I'm not."

"Yet."

"Ok enough! Elena, why are we here?" I was annoyed and Damon started to look at me which made me want to hit him before walking away.

"Where is Stefan?" Damon told us and she walked in as he walked out. No don't leave me with him! Elena! Come back!

"So, you follow her like a pet?" I slapped him across the face and turned around.

"I am keeping her safe from you, jerk." I crossed my arms as I felt his on my shoulders.

"I wonder, do sirens have nice tasting blood?" I moved and threw him into a tree.

"Don't test me, Damon."

"I'm curious. Won't you give me just one taste?" He was in front of me within seconds. I threw him away again before walking about.

"I'd die first before any vampire tastes my blood." I walked away heading to school before shouting for Stefan to take Elena.

I walked into the school, late, it wasn't like me. I went to my locker and grabbed a book I needed for class and Caroline handed me a bag. I opened it and took out the costume. Oh it's a cat. So generic, but I do love cats so I thank her and give her a hug before walking to class.

"So you like it?" Caroline was confused, she must think I hate her.

"Yeah, I love it. Cats are really cute so thank you." I smiled at her before walking into class and to my seat.

I waited for school to finish before going home and putting the costume on. I done my make-up before putting on an all black top and bottoms before placing the cat tail belt on and cat ears.

I made my way to the school, I went alone until I met up with Caroline. She grabbed my arm while dragging me about and we seen Bonnie. She was a witch while Caroline looked like another witch but with a corset and a veil, also she was purple, both of them were adorable. Tyler handed us drinks, I accepted so did Caroline while Bonnie denyed.

I walked around until I seen Elena, she was dresses as a nurse. If she was here so was Jeremy. I gotta see what he looks like. I started searching for him. I saw Matt getting in Stefan's face. Vicki was there and she ran off. I made sure to stay hidden as I searched for her voice, like vampires, sirens can hear long distances if chosen. But in water we hear everything with or without chosing to.

I heard her and ran in her direction, dodging people and drinks. I got outside to where the busses were and quietly walked about them. I seen Vicki and Jeremy, I hid and watched. She soon attacked him, Elena came running over and shouted. She got hurt and Stefan finally showed up. Elena got more hurt and in the end Vicki died.

Jeremey didn't take it well, Elena was bleeding and I was too shocked to move. Stefan got Jeremy away while Damon walked over. Elena tried attacking him but it didn't work so she slapped him before leaving. I finally got feeling back and ran over to Damon.

"Let me help." I felt bad about not helping before, he sighed and we carried her body away. He didn't make a snarky comment or anything.

We dumped the body and Damon picked me up and ran to my home. He dropped me and smirked while I got up and thanked him. Stefan told me Jeremy and Elena were inside but I sat outside with him and his brother. After a while Elena came outside and talked to Stefan.

I pulled Damon away from the house and made him look at me. "Damon, you have to help them, please. Elena can't handle this and Jeremy will use to much and overdose."

"Is that a bad thing?" He was annoyed, I grabbed his arm and pulled him down to my height before speaking quietly and pleading.

"Damon, please. A siren doesn't ask for help by a vampire unless something is gained. I will do one favour for you if you do this. Please..."

I heard him groan before walking over and offering to erase the memory from Jeremy. Damon went inside and erased the memory of tonight with compulsion. I saw Elena and Stefan talk again and walked inside. I went up to Jeremy's room and stood at the door. Once Damon was done I grabbed his arm before he could go down the stairs and soon out the house.

"Thank you." I looked at Jeremy's room before letting his arm go.

"Remember, you owe me. I won't say when but you now are bound to help me with anything I ask." He was still annoyed with me. I sighed and looked at him before smiling softly.

"I know, count this as a free thank you for helping Jeremy out." I leaned up and kissed his cheek before walking to Jeremy's door. "I'd do anything to protect family Damon, please don't make me have to break a siren's word with your favor. Anyways, thank you again."

I walked back into the room as Damon spoke. "I just used compulsion on him, whatever favor I need you will help me with it, Isabelle." His tone was darker than usual. I heard his steps go down the stairs and I heard the front door close before turning to Jeremy.

I sat on his bed and held his hand as he fell asleep, he needed me and Elena. From this day forward, I was going to be more confident and less scared. I had to be, to protect my family. My human family.
