Falling In Love With Elijah Mikaelson

Chapter 43

I walked to Elijah before he took my hand and led me away. He fixed my hair before telling me not to react if Klaus attacks or insults my friends. I nodded and followed him back to the table where he placed down another chair.

A lady in a sparkly top and black bottoms poured wine into my glass and placed down the food the males had. Elijah told her to get me fish instead and she walked away after picking up my plate. I waited patiently while Klaus spoke, a plate of salmon sushi was placed in front of me before the lady walked away,  I thanked her.

"Isabelle, why are you here?" I looked to Stefan before growling lightly at him. "Oh, your a dog now-"

"Oh shut up you two faced, ripper son of a bastard. You have no place to speak about me being a dog, you sat and obeyed every word Elena asked of you. That is what love does and it's what it will keep on doing to us supernaturals." I ate a piece of sushi before drinking some wine.

The vampires ate again, I learned of a girl named Tatia. Turns our Elijah and Klaus loved her like Damon and Stefan are with Elena. They fought over her before realizing a family bond is above all of their emotions. I knew with Elijah being an original he'd fall for a few ladies but to know it's the original doubleganger, Elena's and Katherine's orignal.

I felt a pair of eyes on me making me excuse myself before walking out the room and into the front garden. I covered my mouth as they all continued dining. I walked about outside before being joined by Damon.

"You ok, Izzy?" I walked away from him and sat on the road beside the building.

He didn't follow me which was good, I got a text from Elena saying Alaric was the next target and that she had to kill him so he'd be fine. I texted a simple ok back before putting my phone away and holding my knees.

After a while of being alone, I heard Stefan's pained screams making me get up and run into the house and to them. I saw Klaus holding Stefan's hand over the fire while Elijah held Damon at the wall. All four men looked at me, Damon asked me to help while Elijah just looked at me with his soft caring eyes.

I walked over and moved Elijah from Damon before speaking. "Give them the coffin, Damon." I looked at him as his face turned from shock to anger.

"I can't believe your chosing them over us!" He walked away but he could still hear me.

"Love makes you do the craziest things, Damon...you of all people should know that." I walked away from Elijah, Klaus and Stefan and to the table to drin the wine. "But for you it comes after every doubleganger, for me it only comes once. I thought I liked you but nope it was just another emotion I can't quite name."

"Elijah, go with him. See him true to his word and I'll be true to mine." After Klaus spoke, Elijah looked to me before speading off. "Isabelle-"

"Don't you dare speak to me Klaus. Not...not until I am drunk." I walked to one of the ladies and grabbed the wine and walked out the room to drink it in peace.

Minutes pass and I finished the bottle I took as Damon and Elijah came back. I walked over and Elijah showed two daggers. I was confused until someone I never met walked past Damon and Elijah.

Rebekah showed up after another male came over. I walked to Elijah as Stefan and Damon left. I took his hand as he looked at his brothers and his sister.

"Isabelle, you've met Rebekah but not Finn or Kol. Brothers, this is Isabelle, the witch siren, Klaus has been going after." They looked at me while I just looked at Rebekah.

"Rebekah..." I let his hand go before walking past the vampires and to the other woman. I hugged her tightly before pulling her close. "You didn't come home, I didn't know what happened. I...I'm glad your ok."

"Isabelle, your to caring of us. Has Klaus been making you be in hell?" She stopped hugging me before grabbing something and throwing it. "Did he make you renovate this place?"

"No, I renovated on my own accord and he hasn't put me through hell. Well he did but that's when I remember seeing Elijah being stabbed." I moved out the way as Kol and Finn moved to the door with Elijah and Rebekah. "But I do have a place you all can go to get away from Klaus."

"The cabin?" I shook my head and walked with them after they all spoke to Klaus. The door opened making us all look who it was.

A beautiful lady with long blonde hair and beautiful brown eyes. She wore old clothing that seemed to be from the past. The vampires around me were quiet, all but Rebekah.

"Mother." I looked to Rebekah in shock before to the lady in front of me. She walked past us and to Klaus.

Klaus was upset but seeing her made him worse. She forgave him before looking to the others and asking to be a family again. I felt out of place so I started walking towards the door.

"Who is she?" I froze as my hand was on the handle. I felt her presence behind me making me turn around and lower my head. "Who are you?" Her voice was soft but warning.

"Mrs Mikaelson, I am Isabelle..." I felt her hand on my chin, it was soft but harsh as she raise my head up so I was looking at her.

"Mother, that is Isabelle...Elijah's friend but she-"

"Klaus!" I didn't realize my action until I felt a hand on my throat. "Sorry! I just...I like your family Mrs. Mikaelson, one above them all and I'd rather say it myself than have someone else say it."

I seen a hand go onto the mother's before removing it and moving me to their side. I smiled slightly at who it was, Elijah. "Mother, she is a dear friend and a powerful creature."

Their mother looked at me before apologising. I shook my head and apologised instead. "No, it's my fault. I'm sorry. I am a siren and a witch, a hybrid myself but...being both makes my emotions act all crazy."

"Let's get to know each other, shall we?" I nodded as I walked away with the mother of the man I care for before sitting down and talking with her over night.
