Lisa
The morning decided to come anyway with no regard for Lisa's sleepless night. Her eyes were heavy and tired, but her adrenaline was pumping with anticipation as she boarded the plane.
"That's the fourth time you've looked at her picture." Marcus grumbled from beside Lisa with his legs stretched out into the aisle.
"I'm not looking at her picture. I'm just going through the file." Lisa said with a smirk.
"Yeah... and stopping at her picture every time you pass it."
So what?
"Her picture is in the file. And I'm reading the file. Of course I'm going to have to look at it."
Hoony overheard their conversation and couldn't help but jump on board to bust Lisa's balls.
"If you need some alone time with that picture, there's a bathroom right over there." Hoony joked, leaning over the top of Lisa's seat.
"Fuck off." Lisa laughed.
"Seriously though, how are you going to live in a house with her for the next five weeks if you get a boner every time you look at her?"
"I don't get a... you know what I'm not even gonna respond to that." Lisa started to defend herself, but stopped because it was so ridiculous.
"I can give you some tips you know. I usually say the Pledge of Allegiance in my head when Ji-eun gets me hard in public places." Hoony's comment had Marcus laughing, causing his shoulders to bounce as he tried to stifle it.
"The hell is wrong with you?" Lisa laughed, looking over her shoulder at Hoony who was clearly enjoying himself.
"Yeah well you better lock that shit down because she's a damn client." Bambam's grumpy voice echoed from behind her.
"Jesus, here we go..." Lisa rolled her eyes and let her head fall back against the seat.
"Lighten up Bam, we're just giving Lisa shit." Hoony said, coming to Lisa's defence.
"All I'm saying is fucking a client is a bad look, one that could get us reassigned and blow up the entire op."
Alright enough of this bullshit.
"Woah, woah, woah... slow your fucking horses. I'd never compromise an op and you know it."
Bambam could sense the change in Lisa's tone and backed off immediately. Lisa was definitely the most easy going member of the team, always equipped with a smile and a joke, but even she had her limits. Letting out a hard sigh, Bambam regained control over himself as if he had momentarily forgotten that Lisa was one of his best friends, and not a subordinate.
"You're right man. I guess I'm just wound a little tight." Bambam confessed.
"Ya think?" Hoony sassed.
Lisa didn't give it a second thought. She knew that having to leave Mina when he was ready to propose had rubbed Bambam's heart raw and Lisa would never hold that against him.
"Don't sweat it Bam. I know you're hurting for your girl." Lisa said with a half-smile. She would never risk the success of an op and her teammates knew that.
She's so damn beautiful, but the bottom line is that she's a client - an assignment. So lock your shit down and keep it professional Lisa.
The team was scheduled to meet with Richard Kim at his office as soon as they landed. Once they exited the elevators of the immaculate high-rise office building, they were greeted and ushered into a large office that was bigger than most of their apartments. Everything about Richard Kim exuded wealth and status which piqued Lisa's curiosity as to what his personality would be like.
The team was no stranger to snobby foreign dignitaries that treated them like they were inferior or flat out ignored them completely. On the other hand, they had also worked for several clients who treated them like family causing Lisa to try and guess which category the Kims would fall under.
Richard Kim entered seconds later with his arms outstretched in a grandiose gesture and a big smile across his face.
"Guys. Welcome," Richard said genuinely as he approached Bambam for a handshake.
"I have heard a lot about you and your team Mr. Bhuwakul and I've got to say you all look even more impressive in person." Richard Kim was beaming and seemed genuinely impressed with the team and their accomplishments.
"Thank you Mr. Kim. Just call me Bambam, and we're definitely happy to help in any way we can while we are here."
"Excellent."
"This is Marcus, Hoony, and Lisa." Bambam said, introducing the team as Richard Kim shook each member's hand.
"I trust Don has briefed you on the situation at hand." Richard asked.
"Yes sir, we are fully briefed and ready to roll."
"I expected nothing less. With regards to your accommodation, you will be staying on the grounds in the main house with my family and myself and we hope that you will make our home yours for the next few weeks. I fully plan on keeping the ground security running and would like for you and your team to coordinate with them on the exterior security."
"We appreciate the hospitality sir and yes, I'll meet with your ground security team as soon as we arrive at your house."
