Jennie

A little over an hour had passed and in that time Jennie had decided that being close to Lisa was her new favourite place to be. Once the movie had ended the group stretched their muscles from their seats, ready to refill on snacks and drinks before they started another. Jennie sat forward on the couch and looked over at Lisa, thirsting for one of her delectable smiles, but the smile that had once been there was long gone. In fact it wasn't just gone, Lisa was scowling with a hard expression that looked more pissed than happy. What in the world is Lisa looking at? She followed her pointed gaze over to the window and let out a small gasp in response. Someone is walking past the window.

The grounds security teams didn't walk routes that close to the living room windows and before she could say a word she felt Lisa's strong hand on the back of her neck, forcing her to the ground beside her. Lisa was almost unrecognisable as she switched from light-hearted and charming to deadly and machine-like. She let out a low whistle to Hoony who was in the kitchen and immediately picked up on the situation at hand, grabbing Jin and mimicking Lisa's position on the ground.

Her scared eyes were glued to Lisa, who reached up for her gun on the coffee table, then turned to Jennie and mouthed the words - "safe room." She knew exactly where to go and the two of them shifted on the ground, staying low until they could make it to the hallway. The safe room was in her dad's bedroom which was on the other side of the house, but she was confident that Lisa and Hoony could get them there.

Once they had reached the hallway, Lisa pulled her to a standing position and wrapped Jennie's hand around her from behind, holding her against her back while simultaneously using her own body to shield Jennie. Her hands were shaking as she gripped the front of Lisa's shirt tightly, walking carefully behind her and pressing herself into Lisa's back.

Where the hell is the grounds security team? Why don't I hear them?

They rounded a corner with Hoony and Jin following behind them, but Jennie's heart dropped when she heard heavy footsteps coming from in front of them. "They're in the house." she whispered in a shaky voice against Lisa's back. The sound of the front door being forced open caused all four of them to whip their head back behind them to follow the sound.

They are coming in from both sides. We're trapped.

Gripping Lisa's shirt a little tighter, she felt Lisa's rough hand glide over the top of hers, giving it a quick reassuring squeeze. Jennie was absolutely terrified, but Lisa didn't look scared or concerned in the least. She looked pissed - positively furious and dangerous. She watched Lisa and Hoony give each other several hand signals and nods, creating a plan without speaking before Hoony disappeared around the corner with Jin. Leading her into one of the guest rooms, Lisa positioned her behind a chair in the far left corner. "Don't move until I come for you. No matter what you hear, you do not move from this spot," Lisa commanded. She nodded up at Lisa with a terrified gaze, knowing that she was about to leave her side and fighting against the urge to cling to Lisa.

"Trust me?" Lisa said quickly with a half-smile, trying to comfort Jennie by showing how relaxed she was. Jennie's second nod, caused Lisa's smile to spread a little wider before she kissed her on the top of the head and moved silently across the room. Every step Lisa took was calculated and precise like she had done this a thousand times - maybe she had. Lisa positioned herself at the edge of the door frame waiting to ambush the assailants that were coming down the hall. The footsteps became louder and Jennie held her breath as a dark figure appeared in the door frame with the muzzle of a gun sticking out as the man entered.

Lisa readied herself, letting the intruder enter the room a few inches before grabbing hold of the muzzle of the gun and forcing the man backwards into the hall with a loud thud as they wrestled and fought for control of the gun in the hallway. All Jennie could hear were grunts and thuds against the walls until the deafening crack of a gunshot sounded through the air making her ears ring and her adrenaline flood.

No, no, no, no... please be okay Lisa.

Every part of Jennie wanted to get up and run to Lisa to make sure she was okay, but she stayed in her hiding place sending up silent prayers that Lisa was the one who fired the shot and not the one who was hit. There were hushed voices outside of the hallway and she internally panicked at the sound, letting go of her knees and readying her body to fight if the voices belonged to the intruders. Thankfully she was able to pick out Jin's voice, followed by Hoony, which let Jennie's jolted nerves relax slightly, but not fully - not until she saw Lisa was okay. The loud shouts of the Mino and the rest of the grounds security team echoed through the halls making sure everyone was okay.

Where the hell were you Mino? It's a little late now!

Sitting in her hiding spot, Jennie impatiently waited to be retrieved by Lisa.

Where are you Lisa?

To Jennie's delight and horror, Lisa's large muscular frame entered the room, but her handsome face and firm chest were covered and coated in blood. She made eye contact with Jennie as she entered, which was enough for her to jump up out of her hiding place and rush to Lisa's side.

"Oh my God Lisa!" she screamed with her hands extended ready to tend to Lisa's injuries as she came further into the room. Lisa held her hands out with her palms facing Jennie, signalling her to stop which she did, but not without having to fight her own instincts that were screaming at her to take care of Lisa. "Don't come near me Jennie." she said firmly. "But you're hurt." Jennie whimpered, sweeping her eyes over Lisa's blood soaked body.

"It's not my blood sweetheart," Lisa soothed. "And I don't want a drop of this shit to touch you, so I need you to stay back so I can get clean." Jennie nodded and agreed to keep her distance, knowing that whoever's blood that was spattered across Lisa's face was most definitely dead. Rushing into the bathroom to her right, Lisa pulled her shirt off over her head and dropped her sweats. Jennie looked away before Lisa could drop her boxers and noticed she had pulled the door slightly before getting in the steaming hot shower that Lisa had just started.

"You okay Bug?" Jin said as he entered the room and wrapped her up in a hug.

"Yes, are you?" she asked, pulling away from him and checking him for injuries.

"I'm fine, thanks to Hoony. He took down the other guy and tied him up. Hoony and the rest of the grounds security team were dragging him to the pool house last I saw."

"How on earth did two armed men get past six fully armed security guards?" she asked in a shaky voice.

"I think you and I both know how." Jin said coldly, sending shivers down Jennie's spine at the thought of one of the security guards being paid off. Lisa emerged from the bathroom seconds later with a towel around her. "Much better." she said, giving Jennie a smile that she knew Jennie desperately needed. "I got to go put on some fresh clothes real quick, but I've got a big ol' hug with your name on it sweetheart. You did so fucking well."

Lisa gave her a peck on the top of her head as she passed her, grabbing her hand in the process and motioning with her head for Jin to come along as well. She wasn't sure if Lisa had heard her conversation with Jin or not, but it was clear that Lisa wasn't fully relaxed and knew there was still potential for danger which meant keeping Jennie and now Jin within close proximity.

Following Lisa to her room, she and Jin waited for Lisa to put on a fresh shirt and athletic shorts. The second she was clothed her big muscular arms were wrapped around Jennie in an unapologetically intimate hug. Wrapping her entire body around Jennie's, she pulled her into her chest and clutched her tightly giving her a squeeze as she took in a fist full of the back of Lisa's shirt.

"You did so fucking good Jennie girl." Lisa praised her with a bright smile, cupping her face in her strong hands. She pulled Jennie in for another hug as if she couldn't get her close enough before releasing her and turning her attention to Jin.

"Now let's go see what the fuck just happened." Lisa growled, taking Jennie's hand. Jennie wasn't sure which guard was responsible for the security breach, but one thing was certain, Lisa was on a warpath heading straight for that pool house, ready to make one of those men confess their sins and pay the price for their betrayal.
