Lisa
Jennie, Lucas, and the rest of Bravo team all rested on the flight home, making small talk and telling jokes, happy to be headed home for some much needed rest and relaxation in order to heal their injured bodies. Lisa leaned across the aisle to Bambam on the private plane and asked him question that had been burning a hole through her brain.
"Hey Bam, can I ask you something?" Lisa said.
"Sure thing Doc."
"Back at the rally point when you were chewing my ass out, you said Jennie had offered to save your wife and your children... those were metaphorical children right? Like your future children?"
"Oh yeah for sure." Bambam answered.
"So Mina's not pregnant?" Lisa asked once more, causing the entire plane to go silent.
"Nah." Bambam confirmed. All heads nodded and accepting his quick response.
"I mean she might be, but probably not." Bambam corrected casually.
"What?" Jennie squealed.
"You serious Bam?" Marcus asked with a smile that was uncharacteristically wide.
"Not pregnant and might be pregnant are totally different things, man. Explain." Hoony echoed from behind them.
"Alright everyone needs to chill the fuck out." Bambam chuckled. "She's late, but only by a few days, hasn't even taken a test yet. It's unlikely because she only skipped one pill by accident. So my answer still stands... no she's not... but she might be." he said with a proud grin that made Lisa's heart warm.
The whole group was buzzing with excitement at his words and were exchanging glances with each other with uncontrollable smiles on their faces.
"But nobody says a fucking word. Got it? I wasn't supposed to tell anyone." Bambam said, shooting looks at everyone on the plane.
"Copy that Bam." Hoony said in an excited tone.
As soon as the plane landed, Lisa could feel the level of exhaustion that was radiating off of Jennie. She was physically and emotionally worn to the bone, barely hanging on by a thread as they made their way down the tarmac. Lisa tucked Jennie into her side, supporting her body weight, letting Jennie lean on her for support. "Don't worry baby, I'm gonna get you home soon." Lisa whispered into her ear.
Four figures were waiting for them at the end of the tarmac and the group quickly realised it was Eric, Jackson, Mina and Ji-eun standing there, waiting for their wounded heroes to reach them. Bambam and Hoony stepped forward, each going to the loving woman waiting for them.
Hoony reached Ji-eun first, and Lisa watched as Ji-eun ran her hands up Hoony's chest until they reached his bandaged neck. Without saying a word Ji-eun dropped her head against Hoony's chest and started to cry tears of relief as he wrapped his entire body around hers and swayed them back and forth in a soothing, rhythmic motion.
As Bambam reached Mina, she stepped forward calmly with her eyes pinned on his wounded shoulder that he was nursing against his side with a sling. Mina stopped just shy of him and twirled her finger in the air, signalling him to turn a 360 degree turn for her which was her usual request once he returned form a dangerous job so she could survey his body for any other injuries. The side of Bambam's mouth curled into a smile as he raised his good arm and turned in a circle for her, confirming that his shoulder was his only injury. Mina smiled and launched her body into Bambam's, avoiding his hurt arm, but allowing his good arm to wrap her up tightly. "You scared me, but I knew you were going to be okay." Mina said confidently. "Oh yeah?" Bambam said as he pressed his forehead against hers. "Yeah... cause you're fucking badass." Mina hummed against him, causing Bambam to let out a low groan at her sultry words.
No wonder Mina might be pregnant, do they ever leave the damn bedroom?
Lisa chuckled to herself at her teammate and quickly remembered that she had put something in her bag for Hoony. "Hey Hollywood, forgetting something?" Lisa called out to Hoony who unwrapped himself from around Ji-eun as she wiped tears from her cheeks with her sleeves. "Oh shit I almost forgot," Hoony said, taking the bag from Lisa and rummaging through it. Hoony pulled out a small cardboard carton of milk and displayed it proudly to Ji-eun who burst into laughter at the sight.
"Now I wouldn't drink that shit, it's been in that bag for the past ten hours, but it still counts right?" Hoony said with a wide smile. Ji-eun threw her head back with laughter as she took the milk from him. "It counts." she confirmed, curling her finger at him as she signalled him to come over and give her a kiss.
Lisa watched the love that was being showered on her teammates by their women and thanked her lucky stars that she'd found the same type of love with Jennie.
"Lucky bastards." Marcus chuckled with his bag slung over his shoulder as he weaved through the couples.
"Ah don't worry Mac, I bet Jackson would give you a kiss if you asked him." Hoony joked.
"Fuck you." Jackson answered. "He'd have to buy me a beer first." Jackson added slapping Marcus on the shoulder.
"Luc, you good man?" Lisa asked, seeing Lucas sway slightly on his feet.
"Why don't you come stay with us tonight?" Jennie offered.
"Yeah I think I will if you don't mind. I'll wear ear plugs and shit if you want to get wild, but I wouldn't mind being within arm's reach of Doc and all the pain meds you got in that bag. My arm's fucking killing me." Lucas answered honestly which meant it must have been pretty bad.
"No problem Luc, we've got room." Lisa said adoring the fact that she and Jennie had the same idea.
The group loaded into their cars and headed home for some rest and relaxation before their debriefing with Don at Knight Security's office the next day. Lisa was overwhelmed with gratitude that her Jennie was safe and couldn't take her eyes off of Jennie the entire ride home, stealing glances of her perfect profile as she slept soundly against the door of Lisa's jeep.
I don't know how we made it out of there and I don't care all that matters is my Jennie is safe - my Jennie is home.
