Jennie
Sensing her confusion, Lisa turned to Bambam who was leaning against the ropes, watching Lisa give instruction. "Hey Bam, freeze." Lisa ordered, prompting Bambam to hold his hands up with his palms facing in a surrender pose to give Jennie an example. She studied Bambam's pose and applied it to the drill Lisa had just put her through.
How would that hand position have helped me just now? Think Jennie.
Her wheels turned as she held her own hands up to mimic Bambam's as she studied them, working through a few movements as she analysed. "Okay I think I got it." She said confidently.
Wrapping her arm around Jennie's neck again, Lisa put the gun to her temple and held it firmly in place. "Want me to go easy on ya?" Lisa said playfully in her ear. "Not a chance." Jennie countered with her hands up facing her palms out just as she had practiced. In one quick motion she turned her wrist, grabbing the barrel with lightning speed as she pulled it away from her face, getting out of the line of fire. "Atta girl." Lisa praised her.
"So what do you do now? Which way do you turn to get out of my hold around your neck."
Hmmm. Wrist is weaker than bicep, so I'm going to throw my body weight against your wrist.
Jennie threw her body weight down and to the right against Lisa's wrist causing her to break her hold while giving Jennie enough time to duck out of Lisa's grasp and free herself.
"Hell yeah babe!" Mina cheered. The hoots and hollers from Mina and the team warmed Jennie's heart, but not nearly as much as the proud smile on Lisa's face. She wasn't just looking at Jennie, Lisa was admiring her, adoring her from across the ring and Jennie could physically feel Lisa's gaze. "That's my girl." Lisa said as she kissed Jennie on the forehead.
About that time, Lucas appeared from the doorway, leaning in and whistling to get Lisa's attention. "Hey Doc, Eric needs to see you, Bam and Jennie... ASAP."
"Copy that." Bambam said, giving Lisa a nod of his head as they headed toward the offices. Once they entered, Eric sat at one end of a conference table with Lucas, leaning over a phone that was on speaker. "Jin is going rogue." Eric said flatly as the three of them took a seat.
What on earth does that mean?
"What?" Lisa asked in confusion.
"Yeah, Jin said he's going after Jiyong tonight with or without our help. And when I told him that we didn't have the green light and he would be on his own, he still agreed and stuck to his guns. He's going after Jiyong. Tonight. Alone." Jong-kook's voice sounded from the phone on the table.
"Why would he do that?" Jennie asked.
"Says Jiyong is getting out of control and cutting him out of decisions. Told me he couldn't wait until the end of the week to take Jiyong out."
"I mean as much as I agree, Jin can't go alone. You can't let him do that Jong-kook." Jennie begged.
"There's not a whole lot we can do Jennie. It's not a sanctioned mission yet. The KCIA, NIS, and FBI are involved and they haven't given Don the green light to send us in. My hands are tied." Jong-kook said. The whole room was silent for a minute or two before Don's large frame walked by the conference room, peeking his head through before he passed.
"Well I think I'm going to head out early tonight boys." Don said, causing every head in the room to whip over in his direction.
"You feeling okay Don?" Lisa asked, knowing Don never left early, especially if something was going down with one of his teams.
