Charlis POV:
I can't do it. I can't do it anymore. It's too much, how much more chemo can they put inside of me. It's only been a few days since they gave me the third round of chemo and I'm so tired just the idea of standing up tires me.

I want to go to bed. But I feel like I'd never wake up if I did.

I want to give up. It's like I'm doing this all for nothing. I did 2 rounds of chemo and nothing happened. What If I do a third and nothing happens again?
I have no motivation.

Ivan: "hey, Charli. Stay awake. Please drink this. You need to stay hydrated"

I shook my head

Charli: "I'm going to bed"
I closed my eyes

He grabbed my face and shook me awake

Ivan: "stay awake please. It's my job right now to take care of you."

Why does every one gotta take care of me. I can't handle myself.

Charli: "let me go to bed"
Ivan: "no. Tell me what you want. You just can't go to bed"

I want to go to bed

Ivan: "il get it for you. Anything."

I opened my eyes slightly

Charli: "I want Chase"

I want him here. He's always here. Why isn't he here...

Ivan: "he's with his family right now. I'm sorry."

His stupid Parents had to come today. They took him from me.

Ivan: "you need to eat something. Or drink something. Il get anything you want"

I don't want to eat or drink anything?? I just want Chase here.

Charli: "Il eat and drink if Chase gets here"

He groaned

Ivan: "fine. I will call him if that's what you want. But if he says he can't be here, you still have to eat and drink something, okay?"

I nodded

Charli: "fine"

He picked up his phone and called Chase. After a few rings, he picked up

Chase: "hey, what's up?"

Ivan sighed

Ivan: "your girlfriend here won't stop asking for you."

My eyes widened

The line stayed silent

It's a joke? Yeah- that was some sort of joke-

I awkward laughed which caused chase to awkward laugh

Yeah- it was a joke-

Ivan: "anyways, she's asking if you can come here"
Chase: "yeah, course. I just gotta bring my parents-"

Shit. I really don't have the energy to meet his chases parents. Well I guess I don't really have to make a good impression considering "I'm not his girlfriend".
