Chases POV:
Of course. Because nothing can go right in my life right?

Out of every single person on this planet. OUT OF EVERYONE. This is who I get? Really?

Okay. Well I think it's safe to say I'm not getting this record deal. God fucking damn it?! Why?! The only time I ever get any sort of record deal, the producer is Jesse. I never thought I'd say this but I wish charli broke up with her just a little bit later.

Jesse: "Oh. Wow. What a surprise."

She obviously hates me

Chase: "Jesse. I did not expect this."
Jesse: "neither did I."

She sat down in her seat

Dan: "you guys know each other?"

Unfortunately

Jesse: "we do."
Dan: "oh that is so weird? How do you guys know each other"

She dated my girlfriend at the same time as me.

Chase: "let's just say... we shared a common interest"

And by that I mean we shared charli.

Jesse: "and he took that interest for himself."

She still holds a grudge.
Didn't she like... lose her virginity to Charli or something..? Is that why she's so mad. That's no one but her own fault. If she didn't want to lose her virginity to someone who'd break up with her then maybe she should have waited longer.

She's a weird person. And not weird as in funny weird, weird as in weird weird.

Dan: "no idea what that's supposed to mean but shall we start?"

No point. She's just gonna says he hates my song and she will convince them to not take me.

Jesse: "I'd love to hear the song."

I nodded awkwardly

Jesse: "is it a love song?"

Where is this going.

Charli: "well yeah... most songs are."
Jesse: " anyone specific it's about?"

Can we keep this professional?

Chase: "no one specific. Just how I feel throughout all my relationships."

It's obviously about charli and you can hear it in the lyrics but she won't know because she barley knows charli. She doesn't know anything about her.

Jesse: "okay go ahead."

I went inside the booth and I felt a lot of pressure with everyone staring at me. I had to sing my best because I needed the rest of the team to want me.

I know for a fact Jesse won't want me, but if the whole rest of the team loves me then she might be forced to keep me

I began singing the song and it sounded okay.. the end was when it really sound good because I was really getting into it, like I truly believed what I was saying

I came out of the booth and everyone started clapping except Jesse of course

Jesse: "I think it's good enough to be in an album. Just not a single."

I think she's right. I think this song could be part of an album but not a single alone. Personally I don't think it's the best of all my songs.

Jesse: "do you have anything else?"
Chase: "i have a few other songs."
