Charlis POV:
I hung up after he told me he hadn't met anyone new the entire trip.

Why's he lying.

Why would he be lying about meeting her?

Either he doesn't want me to feel bad because she's beautiful.

Or he cheated on me.

Both options are pretty shitty. First one just tells me he thinks I'm so insecure and jealous that he can't even tell when he hangs out with another women. And the second option... I don't even want to think about that right now.

I know he'd never do something like that. It wouldn't make sense at all. If he was gonna cheat on me he'd probably do it in a more private place. He wouldn't do it in front of a bunch of paparazzis.

But why was he lying.
Maybe he just didn't understand the question... even though I asked him 3 times just to be sure.
