Love like never before

Chapter 19: SEIYA POV

It's been a few weeks since I agreed to go out with Terra , and so far it's been pretty good. Tonight I was getting ready for a date with Terra. It was kind of like an initial date to start our relationship.

I was looking in my bathroom mirror trying to do something decent with my hair, for once and had to look up some simple hairstyles. I had found one that was simple and cute. I sat there doing my hair while remembering our convo at the park.

Flashback:

A wide smile came across Terra's face. "Yes!" She said before pulling me into a tight hug. I hugged her back gently before pulling away.

"Before you get to happy there's some things we should talk about." I told her. She looked at me and her smile loosened some.

"Ok sure . What about?"

I sighed. "Well first thing is. This is kind of like a trial run. So I'll go with you but it has to stay between us for now." I replied and noticed her frown.

"You mean you want us to be a secret?" She asked and I nodded .

"Yes for now. For one I have to figure out how to tell my sisters, and also I want to make sure this works out before anything is said officially." I explained to her.

"Okay but this isn't just to spare HER feelings is it?" She said with a serious tone. I knew this would come up.

"My birthday is coming up in a few weeks if everything stays fine until then. I'll come out on my birthday officially." I tell her. She looked at me for a minute silent before speaking .

"Okay that's sounds reasonable, so I can agree to that ." She said nodding.

"Also another thing....." I said pausing and she looked at me curiously raising an eyebrow. "Please keep your thoughts and opinions about Ruby to yourself. If you want this to work out at all you can't be talking about my friends, and that includes her now. I don't want any drama or negativity right now. I have a new album I have to start working on not to mention a party to plan for my birthday since I moved here. I just want to have a few weeks of peace ok." I said to her taking a deep breathe at the end. Why did it feel like I had to explain when I shouldn't?

Terra looked at me and nodded , pursing her lips. "I understand but other than those ..... does that mean and you are going out? Like kind of officially." She asked and I thought about my answer before responding.

"Yes other than that. we're official ." I say softly. Terra smiled widely and laced her fingers with mine. They were a little rough as a result of her working on her car yesterday.

"Ok great. Can we seal it with a kiss?" She said with a cheeky smile. I gulped quietly and licked my lips, before nodding. After all what could I say ,no? I figured she would want one anyway. She smiled and lifted her hand placing it around my neck before leaning towards me. I closed my eyes preparing to feel her lips against mine any moment. Instead of my lips though I felt it pressed against my cheek.

Then she pulled away and pressed another on my opposite cheek and then my forehead and I opened my eyes surprised. That wasn't what I was expecting at all. It was kind of sweet and was very unlike her. She pulled away and looked at my face grinning at me teasingly.

"I think I'll save kissing your lips for an even better day." She said and winked at me. I blushed  and looked away, and she laughed at me quietly.

End flashback

I finished my hair and looked at it in the mirror before nodding in approval before I grabbed the clear lipgloss on the sink. I had to swipe this from Yatens makeup bag when she wasn't in her room. I quickly swiped it across my lips before walking out the bathroom and stood in front of my bedroom mirror. I was wearing a blue one sleeve top with a Jean skirt that came above my knee and blue wedge sandals. The only piece of jewelry that I was wearing was a long necklace with a silver star on the end. Terra said I could dress casual but not like I was hanging around the house. So I just shrugged and went with this look. I sat in my bed and waited for Terra to get here and checked on my social media.

I checked twitter first since it was the one I was least interested in, then I went to Instagram. I saw comments and likes from fans, stories from other celebrities that I follow. I saw that Ruby had posted some photos from cover shoots that she did and some with her friends Riwa and Morgan with a tag stating how they did her makeup up and and hair for the shoot.

I smiled looking at the picture of her arms wrapped around two of her best friends and smiling at the camera with a wide smile and her eyes twinkling with happiness. I never got to meet them but then again maybe she didn't want me to.
The only friend I met was Milly and that was by accident.

I was thinking about this when my phone dinged with a text.

Terra:  I'm outside
Me: ok coming now.
Terra: you are ?😏
Me: shut up. Not like that🙄
Terra: kidding . See ya in a minute.

I slipped my phone in my little purse before heading downstairs. By time I stepped outside Terra was leaned against her car door and smiling at me . As I approached her, I noticed she was wearing a white long sleeve shirt with a tie with dark skinny jeans and black vans. She looked pretty sexy in that fit. I couldn't say I didn't like it. When I stopped in front of her she looked me up and down slowly before meeting my eyes and smiling.

"You look great." She complimented.

"Thank you, you do too" I say appreciatively.

"Thank you." She said smiling and grabbed my hand and leading me to the passenger side where she opened the door. I thanked her again and watched as she got in her driver side and started the car before looking at me. "You ready to go? " she asked smiling and I nodded.

Ready as I'll ever be.

"Ready. Let's go"
