"How many more bridal stores are we gonna look in Yaten?" I groaned out complaining. We had been looking at dresses all day and it was exhausting, no wonder women always turned into bride Zilla when planning a wedding. Everything had to be perfect or just right.
"Only one more and if nothing catches your eye than I have another idea." Yaten said holding some bags of other stuff she found for the wedding.
The moment Ruby gave the go ahead for our friends to post the news on social media, her fans went crazy like a wild fire. Of course there was mixed responses to the news. Some were happy, and some disappointed , while a few claimed it was just a rumor. I didn't really get that one. How could it be a rumor when there was video evidence? It wasn't until Ruby herself posted that everyone seemed to believe that she was actually engaged.
Now a month later Yaten was dragging me from store to store in search of the perfect dress as I followed her to the next bridal store. Is there even such a thing ?
I mean you spend thousands of dollars on a dress that you only wear for one night, and you're telling me if the dress isn't perfect then none of it is? I found the whole idea of that ridiculous maybe it's because I grew up on different values then most people on this planet, but I'm pretty sure the most important thing is the ceremony itself, not what you're wearing.
We stopped into the bridal store where we were immediately greeted by a sales clerk.
"Hello how may I help you?" She said with wide smile plastered on her face.
"We just want to try on some dresses." Yaten told her.
"Okay great any particular style?" She asked and I spoke up this time.
"Mermaid style." I suggested like I knew what I was talking about.
"Okay right this way." She said leading us to a rack of white dresses.
I started going through the dresses and picked out a few to try on. After the third dress I came out frustrated.
"Okay this isn't working." I tell Yaten who was leaning against the wall with her chin propped in her hand.
"You're right it's something missing isn't it." She mused looking at the dress I was wearing. The fit was perfect but I didn't like the design on it for some reason.
"Well if none of these work I do have a design I've been working on at home." Yaten said pushing off the wall and I nodded.
"Okay let's go." I said as I went back into the dressing room and put back on my clothes.
When that was done we headed back to the house. "Wait here." Yaten said as we stepped into the living room.
"Whatever." I mutter and plopped myself down on the couch and sighed. Can't I just wear any white dress and call it a day.
"Okay tell me what you think of this." Yaten asked as she handed me a notebook as she sat next to me. I looked at the rough sketch she drew and the fabric cut outs she taped to the paper. This was beautiful.
"You drew this?" I asked in awe and she nodded.
"Not the best rough sketch but I know how it looks in my mind." She said casually as she flipped her hair over her shoulder.

"Did you draw this for me?" I asked looking at her and she nodded.
"Yeah I drew that out the day Ruby told us she wanted to marry you,and I've added to it since you agreed to marry her. I figured it would look good on you." She explained. I ran my fingers over the picture of the dress.
"It's beautiful Yaten. Do you think you could make this?" I asked excited and she looked at me surprised.
"You really like it that much?" She asked shocked.
"Yes I do. Can you make it?" I asked and I watched as a pleased smile came on her Face.
"I can try. I also have one for Ruby too." She said and I could see she was getting excited.
"Well I don't know if she's wearing a dress but you should definitely show her." I say smiling encouragingly and Yaten nodded with a satisfied smile.
Ruby POV
I had just pulled up to Seiya's house. Yaten having texted ,saying she needed me to come over. Before I could let myself in ,the door swung open to reveal Yaten looking impatient and excited at the same time.
"Good! You're here!" She said and pulled me inside.
"Uh is everything okay?" I asked as she pulled me along behind her up the stairs.
"Yeah I have something to show you." She said bringing me inside her room and closing the door. She let go of my wrist and grabbed a notebook off her bed.
"What do you think of this?" she asked holding the notebook out to me. I took it and looked at the drawing briefly before looking at her with a raised eyebrow.
"This is what you you called me over here for? You made it sound so serious." I said with an eye roll. I'm usually good at handling the dramatic actions of Yaten, even better than her own sisters but she had me thinking something was wrong.
"Yeah sorry about that but I do need you to tell me what you think of this design. So please look at it." She said holding her hands up in prayer motion. I sighed and sat on the edge of her bed as I studied the drawing.
"I like it. It's different." I say looking at her.
"Would you wear it?" She asked me quietly and I looked down at the drawing.
"Yeah I would."
"What if I told you I designed this just for you on you wedding day. Would you wear it?" She said meekly and I looked at the drawing again.
"Yes I would and you designed this?" I asked shocked and nodded.
"That's amazing. You can make this though?" I asked curiously.
"Yeah since I know what it looks like in my head. I'm also making Seiya's dress and yours will be much easier to make than hers." She said with a slight smile.
"Well in that case I would love to wear it." I say smiling at her.
"Ok then I'll get right to work." She said taking the notebook from me.
"Where's Seiya?" I asked curiously.
"She went somewhere with Taiki. I think to look at different cakes." She said absentmindedly as she drew some design in her notebook.
"Huh don't you I think I should there for that?" I asked with a raised eyebrow. Yaten looked up at me.
"I think they went to look at designs so that Seiya could narrow it down and let you know if she saw any she liked. Trust me she not gonna just choose one without your input."
"Oh. I guess that makes sense." I say looking out her bedroom window.
"Well I would like your input on anything else I could add to this design" she said holding up the drawing and I nodded and sat by her, throwing out ideas.
