Love like never before

Chapter 39:Seiya PoV

I was in my room laying on my couch , looking for something to watch; when Yaten came into my room.

"Seiya I need you to come to my room for a few minutes." She said standing in front of me with her hands on her hips. I looked at her and frowned.

"Why?"

"For fitting m. I'm almost done with Ruby's now I need you for a fitting." She explained and I sighed, Rolling to my feet and followed her to her room. There was fabric thrown everywhere from earlier in the week, and now it was slightly chaotic compared the otherwise neat room.

"It looks like a clothes hamper threw up in here." I say smirking as I looked at everything.

"Yeah well you try putting together two wedding ensembles in under 2 months and try to keep your room neat. It's not easy." She said gathering up the white lace fabric and bringing it to me. I sighed again as I took off my shirt and pants. Yaten then helped me step very carefully into the dress. Then she had me hold out my arms so she could take in the areas that needed taking in.

"Please try not to poke- ow!" I said wincing as I felt the prick of the needle got me in the hip.

"Sorry but please try not to move so I can get the right stitching and I might not end up poking you again." She mumbled out with a needle poking out her mouth as she continued making adjustments.

I rolled my eyes and attempted to be as still as possible until she was done.
"Okay now step over here and tell me what you think?" Yaten said smiling as she stepped by the full length mirror. I picked up the end of the dress and walked until I stood in front of it. I looked at the dress in silent awe as Yaten fiddled with it so that it sat perfectly around me. It was an ivory white color with slight glimmered gems lined in the form of the constellations that sparkled like stars twinkling when it caught the light. It became form fitting from the bust all the way to my waist ,from there it loosened and flared in the back some, turning into a train. Yaten had added a ring to the train so it could wrap around my finger so that it wouldn't drag. As I stared she sat the veil on my head which would tie into my hair by a comb. The veil was a matching ivory white with the same diamonds on it , to cover my face.

"Yaten it's beautiful. I love it." I say meeting her gaze in the mirror.

"So that's a yes to the dress?" she asked joking, using the phrase in one of her favorite shows.

"Yes. yes to the dress ." I say with a smile ,humoring her.
she smiled at me pleased and nodded.

"Okay good now let's take it off carefully." She said unzipping me in the back and I carefully stepped out of it and took the veil off. I got dressed as she put it in a protective bag.

"Do I get to know what Ruby's looks like ?" I asked looking around hoping to spot a glimpse of it.

"No you don't and she doesn't get to see yours either. They'll be complete surprise." She said tapping on her phone.

"Fine." I say rolling my eyes and walking back to my room.

Ruby POV

It was now a week before the wedding and we had everything ready. Cake was ordered, wedding place set, and invitations were mailed.

All I needed was my suit, and I was heading over to the house to see if Yaten was finished. I let myself in and walked to the kitchen to see Seiya at the kitchen isle, laughing at something Taiki said as she cooked. She turned to me and her smile brightened at spotting me. I had to admit I missed her a lot, as a smile appeared on my face at seeing her. We had both been so busy with planning the wedding and work that we didn't really get to see each other.

"Hey I feel like I haven't seen you in forever." She greeted me as I walked up to her and kissed her on the lips before I sat down next to her.

"Yeah it's been to long. I've missed you." I tell her lacing my fingers through hers and I felt her rub her thumb against my fingers as I stared at her.

"I've missed you too." She said smiling back at me and I leaned forward and kissed her again.

"Are you gonna be staying for dinner?" Taiki asked and I pulled away from Seiya's lips reluctantly to answer.

"Yeah sure. I'd love to." I say running my fingers through my hair.

"Okay great. I'm trying a new recipe. I think you're going to like it." She said and I smiled.

"I better go see Yaten before she comes and gets me huh." I say laughing and the others laugh too.

"Yeah definitely." Taiki said and I quickly kissed Seiya's cheek before I got up and headed out.

"Have fun." I heard Seiya say behind me.

I knocked on her door and I heard her say come in. I opened the door to see her room more neat then it's been in the last few weeks since she started making my suit.

"Hey Ruby do you want to do your final fitting?" She asked pulling a long black bag from her closet.

"Oh yeah sure." I say taking the bag she held out to me and walking to her bathroom. I took my off
my clothes and put on the suit , noticing the lace embroidering of the jacket. I put on the pants and walked out feeling  the lace like train flow behind me.

"Well it fits nice." I say stepping out and facing her. She had her two pointer fingers pressed against her lips as she observed me.

"You look amazing Ruby. Here come stand in the mirror and see for yourself." She told me standing by the mirror. I stepped towards the mirror and peered at myself. The suit was embroidered with a lace rose in the breast area. The end of the jacket and pants were trimmed in a black lace , while the back of the jacket had a long black lace Train designed in roses That trailed three feet behind me like the train of a wedding dress.

The look was regal but elegant at the same time. She had turned a simple black suit into something a rebel queen would wear. I smiled at my reflection and touched the train between my fingers.

"Well penny for your thoughts?" Yaten asked looking at me hopefully.

"Well..." I paused making my face look hesitant and I saw her bit her lip nervously.

"I love it." I say finally smiling widely.

"Really?" She asked standing next to me and looking in the mirror. "Cuz I can add something else if there's something missing?" She said looking from the mirror to the suit with a critical eye.

She looked so panicked that I had to laugh. "It doesn't need anything. It's perfect. Thank you." I say smiling softly at the short silver haired woman and I watched a blush come to her cheeks as she looked away.

"Your welcome. It was fun making yours. Plus you don't move around as much as Seiya does." She said with a dismissive flip of her hair.

"I'm sure that was fun." I said with a laugh, picturing the arguments they probably got into. I looked around curious, wondering if her dress was here somewhere.

"You're not gonna find it." She said with a smug smile.

"What?" I asked and Yaten put her hand on her hip. "Seiya's  dress. It's in her room. I hid it in her closet while she was sleeping." She said laughing and I shook my head.

"Well you can't blame me for trying ." I say with a laugh and shrugged.

"I know, she tried to find yours already too and I told her the same thing. It's a surprise." She said and I grinned.

"Can't hide anything from an empath huh?"

"Nope. I'm just that good." She said and winked ,making me laugh.
