Chapter 25: Seiya pov

I was bored as I laid upside down on my couch , my hair trailing along the floor. I wanna go somewhere but where? I thought to myself until it hit me.

I righted myself on the couch before going downstairs to where Yaten and Taiki was in the living room watching tv.

"Hey guys I got a great idea." I say sitting in the middle of them and they look at me waiting.

"Let's go to the beach." I say with a big smile and I watched as they looked at each other before looking back at me and shrugged.

"Sure." Taiki said and Yaten pulled out her phone.

"I'm gonna text Ruby to see if she wants to come." She said as she got up and headed to the stairs while texting on her phone. I went back up to my room to put my swimsuit on under my clothes. I honestly didn't plan to get into the water but could always change my mind.

When I was done I went downstairs to see Yaten back on the couch with a tank top and skirt on. "Ruby said she will meet us there." Yaten replied nonchalantly as she strolled on social media.

"Okay." I said as I sat next to her and I attempted to braid my hair as we waited for Taiki to come down so we could leave. After a few minutes she came down with a tote on her arm and I looked at her curiously.

"I wanna try to find tide pool ecosystems there." She replied and I rolled my eyes. Leave it to Taiki to make it educational.

An hour later we arrived at one of LA beaches on the far side of the city.
This was not really crowded but there was a boat harbor attached.  We parked the car and sat there listening to music, while we waited for Ruby to arrive.  Thirty minutes later she texted  us to let us know she was there.

We got out the car and saw her walking towards us wearing a boy tank top with what looked like blue surfer shorts ,crocs and dark shades covering her eyes. Pair that with her colorful tattoos that were glowing in the sunlight her hair highlighted blond and brown, finger combed by her running her hands through it. She looked like a tattooed surfer. Or a surfing goddess. I lightly nibbled on my bottom lip, trying hard not to gawk at her like I was a dog in heat. God why did she have to be so hot? It's not fair.

"Looking good Ruby but where's your surf board?" Yaten asked smirking.

"What surfboard?" Ruby asked as she stoped in front of us.

"Are you not dressed as a surfer right now?" Yaten said as she looked Ruby up and down and smirked.

"Is that what I looked like? Really?" Ruby asked like she was surprised, looking down at her clothes.
Like she was seeing them for the first time.

"Wow." Yaten said shaking her head. Ruby smiled at her before looking at me and smiling wider.

"Hey seiya." She greeted me like she hadn't seen me in years.

"Hey yourself surfer girl." I say with a teasing smile as she took off her shades and placed them on top of my head. "How do do I look? Cute? Hot?" I say pretending I was modeling different poses with the shades.

"Oh yeah all of the above." Ruby said with a laugh as we walked towards the sand. We stopped and took off our shoes and I rolled up the end of my jeans before wiggling my toes in the sand. I followed behind Taiki and Ruby as she pointed in The distance to where Taiki might find pool tides.  We slowly climbed the small rock cropping up rocks and sat there looking into the small shallow pools.

As we were still trying to spot the sea life, Yaten pointed in the distance almost hesitantly. "Uh Ruby?"

"Yeah?" She said looking at Yaten curiously.
