Chapter 3 RubyPov

RUBY POV:

When I got back to my house , I sat in my living room and turned on the tv. I tried watching a show but my mind kept wondering to earlier. What did she mean by I can sink or swim? Was this a secret I really wanted to know.

Well of course I do, I've known there was mysterious about Seiya from the very beginning,but since we started dating, I put it in the back of my mind. Some part of me doesn't care what her secret is,as long I can be with her again, but that's not entirely true depending on whatever this secret is, I might not be able to handle it . Like what if she's a killer....

No no no no, I think ,shaking my head of the thought . I can't imagine that beautiful women taking someone's life. I mentally started listing things that I would be ok with or should I say things I can live with. I had been So wrapped up in my thoughts that I didn't realize two hours had passed by until I looked at my tv and noticed two episodes had gone off already and each of these episodes is an hour long. I grabbed my stuff and got in my car wondering how would I react to this secret and how it would Change my life.

I pulled up in front of their house and turned my car off looking at it. I hadn't been here in months. It looked exactly the same but it felt different,almost sadder. I got out my car and walked and walked up to the front door and took a deep breath before knocking. A minute later the door opened revealing Yaten in her same outfit from before . She looked at me then stepped back ,allowing me to enter . I walked in and followed her into the living room.

There Taiki was sitting on the couch, and when she saw me she stood up.

"Hey Ruby." She greeted me nervously.

"Hey." I said back nodding at her and sitting down on the couch.

"Before we begin,do you want anything to drink ?" Taiki asked politely. My stomach is in nervous knots right now but I spoke anyway.

"Sure . Can I have a bottle of water." I asked with a smile . She nodded smiling at me and turned, heading to the kitchen. It was quiet after that,while I was nervously running through what could be their big secret.

"Are you afraid of me?" I heard Yaten ask and looked up to see her still standing by the entrance of the living room with her arms crossed. I looked at her confused.

"No why would I be afraid of you?" I asked her confused.

"It's just earlier,I could tell you was afraid by my out burst ,and once again I'm sorry."  Yaten said look at me with a sad  expression. I smiled and got up walking to her, giving her a hug.

"I'm not afraid of you. You just scared the shit out of me when you yelled." I reassured her laughing and she joined in, hugging me back.

We began walking back to the couch with our arms wrapped around each other waist.

"Well after hearing this I hope it stays that way." She said quietly.

I looked at her confused again. "Why would that change , I don't see that happening." I said as we both sat down on the couch. She stared at me for a long moment, then gave a slight smile .

"We'll see soon then." She replied as Taiki walked back in and handed me a water and I thanked her . All three of us sat there looking at each other.

"Soooo......." I said breaking the silence. "What's the secret already?" I said laughing awkwardly.

Yaten looked at Taiki,her expression almost looked like she was gonna cry. Taiki sighed then looked at me.

"Do you believe in things that are considered.....out of this world?" She asked me . I looked in between them both before answering.
