Chapter 48:Seiya Pov

Yaten and Taiki,and me were in Japan, visiting the others. After the failed pregnancy test, I needed a small break before we tried again. The three of us sat on the steps of Rei's grandfather's shrine , talking to her while she swept.

"Guys!" We heard and looked to see Serena and the others running up the stairs toward us with alarmed faces.

"Hey guys- woah what's wrong?" I say meeting their gazes with alarm as they came to a stop front of us.

"There's a youma. Haruka and others outter  senshi are fighting it but it's really strong. They need our help!" Amy explained and I met Yaten's and Taiki gaze and nodded.

"Then let's go." Rei said and transformed along with the others. I placed my star headset  to my ear about to transform when.....nothing.

"Come on! What are you waiting for?" Yaten who was now Sailor Star Healer asked looking annoyed.

"Somethings wrong." I said looking at my hands then back at them.

"What are you talking about?" Taiki aka Sailor Star Maker frowned as all the others stared at me.

I looked up at them each before saying . "My powers. They're not working. I can't transform."

The others forced me to stay at the shrine , while they went to go help; and of course I protested.

Flashback:

"We have to figure this out but not now. Please Seiya stay here." Maker said trying to get me to listen but I just shook my head.

"I can help though." I said.

"Seiya if something happens,who will lead us."Maker tried again and before I could speak ,Healer spoke up.

"Not to mention what that would do to Ruby if something happened to you. She'd have our heads. She can be scary when she wants to be." She finished with an intense look at me, meaning that she meant what she said. Of course I knew my wife had a bit of a temper. I'm probably one of the only few people who seen it and can handle it with out shivering in fear.

"She's right you know. Please......leader." Maker said putting a hand on my shoulder,making me sigh.

End flashback

So here I was walking back and forth at the top of the steps where I waited since they all jumped to the bottom of the steps and took off. I was about to go into the shrine and wait when I heard aloud boom in the distance. I turned towards the way the sound came and could hear screams in the distance followed by another boom. I ran down the stairs without a second thought.

I may not have access to my powers right now but I didn't spend years of my life being trained in hand to hand combact for nothing. I couldn't just stand here and do nothing . 

I ran towards a grass field where I saw familiar flashes of magic attacks being thrown around.

The closer I got ,I saw the others fighting one youma that kept replicating itself and every time they took one out , another would appear . I stopped by a nearby tree out of breath and watched all my friends fight as I tried to think of a way to help them. When all of a sudden I saw Sailor Moon running from the one replicas as it chased her. I took a deep breath and ran over to help. As I ran to catch up ,the replica spilt again to make it two and corned her by a cluster of trees. She turned around to face them bracing herself against a tree and as one they were about to lunge for her. When I reached my hands out instinctively.
