I was just leaving from a interview in New York when I saw this vintage shop. I walked in to look around. There was all kinds of vintage clothes and furniture.
I smiled as I shifted through the various clothes that I remember wearing as I grew up. I held on to various shirts with old bands that I sided to listen to. On one wall there was records , pictures posters of bands , old celebrities and various other famous people. In the back was a glass counter with different jewelry. I looked into the case at the various bracelets, necklaces, earrings and rings. I saw a few necklaces and bracelets that I wanted , when I saw this beautiful ring in the shape of a rose.

I had never seen any ring like that before.
"Hello can I help you with anything?" A Middle aged woman said with a smile, from behind a beaded curtain.
"Uh yes can I see this ring and those three necklaces please." I say pointing at the ones I wanted.
The lady sat each piece on the counter and I picked up the ring and observed it carefully.
"Ita quite a unique ring. I believe it was custom made. The young man who gave it to us years ago said it belong to his grandmother." The lady told me.
"How much is it?" I asked as I stared at the ring. I don't know why but something told me to get the ring. A ring this unique must be special right? She told the price and I smiled.
"I'll take it."

When I got back home took a shower, unpacked my things before I sat on my bed and looked at the ring again.
Flashback: The sales lady sat the ring in a small velvet box, before putting it in a small bag with the rest of the jewelry.
"This will make a great gift for your mom or grandmother. I'm sure they will be very happy." She said as she handed the bags to me.
"I hope so." I replied with a smile. This was more than a gift , it was something I hoped would seal my future with the woman I loved.
"May I asked who it's for?" She asked me quietly.
"Uh it is for my girlfriend." I replied softly.
"Oh is it love?" She asked with a sweet knowing smile.
"Yeah it is." I said smiling, absolutely sure about that. I loved Seiya with all my heart.
"Well I wish you the best of luck. Though something tells me you won't need it." She said smiling.
End flashback
I really hoped she was right and that she liked it. I got up and sat the ring in my purse before I headed out the house to my car.
