Love like never before

Chapter 20:seiya pov

"So where are we going exactly?" I asked as I watched land marks and houses pass by us.

"Just this little place I know ." Terra replied casually. Twenty minutes later later , we pulled up to this small three story building. We got out and she led me inside. I looked around wide eyed in surprise.

The inside was in the style of a festive authentic Mexican restaurant. There was live music with an area for dancing. The tables were placed around the dance area and held lit candles in the middle. There was people delivering delicious looking dishes to tables as people, ate and laughed merrily. It was certainly nothing like how I thought it would be from the outside. As I looked around in awe , a short older woman came speed walking towards us speaking Spanish with her arms outstretched.
When she reached us she immediately pulled Terra into a tight hug , while continuing to speak rapidly and Terra laughed before responding back in the same language. The older woman pulled back and patted her cheek with affection before looking over to me.

"Quien es esta hermosa jovencita?"( who is this beautiful young girl?)
She said smiling at me ,and I returned it with a polite smile before sticking my hand out. 

"Nice to meet you ma'am "I replied politely.
The woman frowning and tsked , patting my cheek like she did Terra "Tu eres preciosa." She replied before pulling me in for a hug. I looked at Terra over the woman shoulder and she grinned at me. "We do hugs here dear, so no need to be formal ." The woman said patting my back before pulling away.

"Abuelita this is Seiya. Seiya, meet my abuelita. That means grandma by the way." Terra introduced with a chuckle, gesturing to us with an amused smile on her face.

"I'm not really her grandmother, but she is like a granddaughter to me ." The woman replied and patted her cheeks again and Terra laughed softly. I could see the love they had for each other in their eyes and voice as they talked and it brought a smile to my face.

"And you Belinda can call me Clara. Welcome to my restaurant. Let me know if this one here gives you a hard time. She knows I'll get her if she does." Clara said and winked at me and I laughed nodding as I watched terra blush and look down in embarrassment.

"Abuelita is everything ready upstairs?"  Terra asked quickly trying to change the subject.

"Yes of course, follow me." She replied with a smile before turning away and I looked at Terra curiously as we followed her up but she simply smiled and placed her hand on the small of my back , leading me forward.
We followed Clara up a flight of stairs where she open a door whelp it. We both walked through and I gasped quietly at all the twinkling fairy lights that lined around the building. In The very middle was a small round table with a white table cloth and two glasses on it and red roses on the middle. A bottle of wine sat in a bucket of ice on the floor near the table.

"You two make yourself comfortable I'll be back in a few." Clara replied with a smile before closing the door.
We both quietly walked to the table and Terra pulled out a chair for me before sitting in her own.
I looked around still in awe as a small breeze blew through my hair.

"Do you like it?" Terra asked quietly.

"Yes I do. Did you plan this ?" I asked meeting her gaze.

"Kinda. Up here is usually reserved for special occasions but she allowed me to use it tonight."  Terra explained looking at me with a small smile.

"Well it's beautiful. I love it. It's more than I was expecting." I replied looking around again.

"Well I'm glad and this is as far a I can go for romance." She joked laughing.
I smiled and laughed.

"That's okay this is enough." I assured her and she reached over and grabbed my hand.

"I can't buy you expensive things or take you to exotic places but I can show you how to enjoy the simple things in a different way. I also know your friends don't like me, but the fact that you gave me a chance anyway means a lot. So this date is also my way of saying thank you for being my girl." Terra finished staring at me.
I smiled at her touched, but also a pang of guilt rang through me. I accepted to be her girlfriend for my own selfish reasons. Before I could respond Clara came back. "I'm back my dears , so here's our specials for the night ."
