When I saw Ruby standing there , it was like she was all I could see. With her black lace feminine suit with Rose designs and make shift lace black train that trailed three feet behind her. I hoped that the veil hid my face enough that she couldn't see the look on my face. It took all my patience not to go running up the isle to her.And her vows, they were they most beautiful words I ever heard spoken to me. It took every bit of my strength not to cry at what she was saying. And now as I kissed her passionately for the first time as her wife in front of all our friends and family; well it was exhilarating. As the applause around us turned deafening, we slowly pulled apart and we looked at each other and smiled. She lightly put her forehead against mine and pecked my lips one more time before we looked at our friends and family. They started congratulating us as we stepped back to the isle to head to the garden first ,to take pictures before finally going to the reception area. Yaten came up to me and picked up the train if my dress giving me the ring insert so that I can slide it on my finger. When she was done ,she gave both of us a hug. "Congratulations." She told us as we hugged her back. "Thank you." Ruby said to her as she wrapped her arm around my waist and held me to her side as more people lined up to congratulate us.
"Yeah well remember all this for my wedding." Yaten said with a wink before she walked away making us both laugh. When everyone was done with congratulations and we took a few pictures in the garden,we moved into the reception area.
We went up to the cake and Ruby wrapped her hand lightly around mine and we cut the cake so that everyone could eat. Ruby and me took turns feeding each other pieces of cake which was delicious.
"Okay its time to throw the bridal bouquet." Yaten announced with a smile enticing Cheers and excited whispers as women started getting out of their seats.
"This should be fun." I say chuckling as Yaten came over to me.
"Go easy on them. Their not professional like you." Ruby said laughing. I tilted my head and pretended to think about it.
"Eh I'll try." I say jokingly with a wide smile and Ruby laughed.
"Come on they're waiting." Yaten said with a big smile as she came over holding the bouquet.
"Why are you so happy about this?" I asked her suspiciously as I got out of my seat.
"Because it's always fun to watch people go crazy trying to catch this stuff. Duh." She said and I laughed as I rolled my eyes. She handed me the bouquet and I walked a few feet in front of them and I paused closing eyes, before I threw it high in the air. I turned in time to see a bunch of women jostling each other while reaching for the bouquet. It bounced off a few people hands until it landed in the arms of a surprised Amy and coincidentally Taiki was standing next to her. The two looked at each and blushed before looking away. I bursted out laughing at the twist of fate. The two most shy and smartest people I've ever met and who couldn't be more right for each other. Ruby walked up to me and I wrapped my arms around her waist as I watched my friends tease Amy who blushed and Taiki who pretended not to know what happened.
"Did you see that?" I asked her chuckling again.
"I did. Do you think that was more than a coincidence?" Ruby asked holding me to her body.'
"I think that was way more than a coincidence." I say smiling at her. Yaten approached us smiling .
"That couldn't have gone better if I planned it myself." She said laughing as she looked at Ruby.
"Are you ready?" She asked her and she nodded and I looked at them confused.
"Ready for what?" I asked as they shared a look and smiled.
