April stormed down into the lair, followed by a distressed Dee and oblivious Mona
'You're not even going to try and listen to me?!' Dee pleaded desperately, she tried to make contact with April but she simply refused to face her. Mikey, Raph and Leo looked up from the TV screen at the two feuding girls absolutely unhinged by the current situation they were witnessing, while Donnie peered out of his lab, before walking over to the group.
'Why listen to you now? So you can embarrass me once again? No thank you.' She retorted, her hand on her hip as she glared harshly at her.
'Would someone like to explain what's going on?!' Demanded Raph, mainly focusing his question at Mona, waiting for her to say something to break the obvious tension. She sighed, reluctant to tell the boys and them what incident occurred last night. For crying out loud, these boys are off basically every night fighting some kind of weird shit. This was the last thing they need to worry about.
'well-' she was interrupted by Dakota, whom briefly had her hand right in front of her face.
'Don't even worry, I'll see you guys at school.' Dee commented, her voice croaky. She gave April an apologetic look, before leaving the lair.
The lair fell into dead silence, and the turtles exchanged funny looks.
'Welllllllll that was totes awkarddd!' Exclaimed the deviant baby blued eyes, plopping himself back onto the couch fixing his attention back on the TV. April felt Leo's eyes fixed on her, before snapping her head left to face him.
'what? I don't want to talk about it.' Her voice was blunt when she said this, and she then moved herself next to Mikey, cupping her face in her left hand.
Mona grabbed Raph's hand, pulling him to the corner of the room.
'Go talk to her.' Raphael looked shocked by this demand.
'Why me?' Mona looked at him, sternly, she knew this look had people answering their own questions. He sighed, then nodded. He kissed the top of her head, before leaving the lair.
He crouched on the roof, and spotted the brunette walking downtown. He quickly caught up to her, jumping in front of her. She screamed, hitting him on the shoulder. He grinned at her, expecting to hear her adorable laugh, instead he received a cut eye and she began to walk around her. He grabbed her arm, spinning her round. to face to him. Annoyed, Dakota gave up. She honestly didn't have time to deal with this hot head's arrogance.
'What?.'
He let go of her arm and placed himself onto bench behind him. 'Look, I- I know that you don't exactly want to talk about whatever shit even happened between you and April, but I just want to let you know that whenever you are ready to talk about it, you know that not only me but the rest of guys are here with open arms.'
This made Dee smile. To be honest that was all she needed to hear. For the past few years she's known the turtles she's grown very fond of them, especially Raph. He's known for being a dickhead, but it was nice to se the soft side of him every now and then. She sat, beside him and looked at him sanguinely. 'Thank you.'
He smiled at her, and put gave her hand a reassuring squeeze. Dee looked down at their touching hands, before looking back at him. There was a weird tension between the very little distance between them. They both leaned it and found themselves locked in a fanatical kiss. Dee moved her arms round Raphael's shoulders whilst He moved his round her waist. After one minute, Dee pulled away, staring at the ground. The guilt was awful. Her whole life flashed before her eyes. She was no longer living in the world where everything went her way and she didn't apologise for anything. She got up, and began to ran home, not looking back once.
