Mikey gasped for breath, collapsing onto the sofa. The entire group of brothers looked exhausted.
'Dude, fighting the foot clan under the boiling sun is hella hard work.' Mikey groaned, rolling onto the floor slowly. Raph entered the kitchen, grabbing a freezing can of sprite. He walled back into the front room, crushing the can opening with his bare hands, before pouring the insides all over his head. Leo looked over to his brother, screwing his face at him.
'You idiot. You wasted the last can of that, which I made very firm dibs on.' He snapped, falling back onto the bean bag next to Mikey. Raph threw the can at Leo's head.
'Can't exactly have everything Lameo.' He snapped back at him, as he walked over Mikey's body still on the floor, and sitting on the couch.
Mikey jumped up, and followed Donnie whom was just going to enter his laboratory.
'Hey D, you think you can invent something to cool us down?' He beamed, putting his arm round him to bring him down to his height. Donnie rolled his eyes, not looking at Mikey.
'Yeah, it's called air.' He scoffed, moving Mikey's arm off him, slamming the door unintentionally as he went into his lair. Mikey stood in front of the door, confused.
'He invented air? Pfft. Sure he did.'
Donnie muttered random things about his delusional brother, taking a seat on his spinny chair. He squealed when he felt something on it, standing up . He looked down at the chair, and saw a T-phone, unsure of whom it belonged to. He turned it on, and knew it was Raph's when the picture of him and Mona showed up on the lockscreen. He also noticed how there was one voicemail in his call listings, from...Dakota. He looked at the door, making sure no one was about to come in, and a mischievous grin appeared on his face.
'Well, it's not exactly snooping, it was clearly some sort of sign if it was in the lab in the first place. Sooooo.' He put the phone to his ear, the voicemail beginning to play. Donnie's covered his mouth at what he was hearing. He began to pull a series of different facial expressions, none of them being the most positive. He put down the phone, trying to shake off what he just heard, and what imaged has probably been carved into his mind forever. He picked up the phone again, staring hard at it.
'Delete, or keep? Delete or keep? No. Ugh. Delete it.'
His fingers were twiddling over the screen frantically, he deleted more than what his should have. Seconds later, Raph burst through the door.
'Hey D, I think I left my T-phone here yesterday last night.'
Donnie squealed dropping the phone on the table as he faced Raph, pushing it far back. Raph raised an eyebrow ridge at him.
'Chill, I'm not April.' He teased, his signature smirk showing once again.
Donnie let out a false laugh.
'Yeah, I just left it here.' He turned around, grabbing it, before passing it to Raph.
'Thanks D. Hey, you didn't go snooping did ya?' He asked him, his voice quite serious.
'Why on earth would I want to look through explicit text messages between you and Mona?' He scoffed, knowing saying this wouldn't make him suspicious.
'So you have tips for the next time you text April.' He answered, grinning evilly at Donnie. Donnie narrowed his eyes at Raph. Just like Mona.
'Just kidding, and trust me, there's nothing on here worth hiding anyway.' Raph waved his phone goodbye, before leaving the room.
Donnie sighed in relief, taking a seat, beginning to spin around.
'Well, nothing to hide anymore.'

Dakota sauntered down Macy's in a surprisingly good mood. Ever since her talk with Casey, she felt like a weight has been lifted off her back. Let's face it. Her mom is a deadbeat and April hates her guts, but at least she knew Casey was there for her. He's there for everyone. And another way to put a girl in a good mood is with retail therapy. Besides, it was spring, going into summer soon, Dee needed a new wardrobe. She examined the Urban Outfitters isle, amazed at all the various attire. If Mona was here, all Dee would have to do was pick 3 colours and within 15 minutes they would be out the store with a 5 bags and a taco. Dakota picked up a neon yellow leatherjacket, it was sort of similar to April's but was way more eccentric.
'You really want to go with that one,?'
Dakota jumped, and looked to her side, to find out the voice was April herself. Dakota sighed in relief, thankful it wasn't anyone else.
'Yeah well, you've seen my wardrobe. Everyone needs a splash of colour now and then.' She answered. April chuckled at her comment. Dakota looked at her and smiled briefly. It had been a long time since she's smiled. Long time. The two of them sort of stood there for a few moments, looking around awkwardly. Finally, Des had the courage to finally speak up.
'April. I miss you. Seriously. Why can't we just be friends?' The desperation was clear in her voice, but she didn't care.
April shrugged.
'You should have thought about our friendship before you decided to embarrass me on my birthday, and sleep with Raph.'
Dakota scoffed, acting as of it was the first she's heard her sins aloud.
'Can't you see I'm over that? Raph and i? Done? And you know I don't have feelings for Casey! I'm not going carry on being some wild bitch who gets off with everyone when she feels like that. I promise.' She was practically begging at this point, but April still wasn't buying it.
'Well, Harry says otherwise. And when you clean up your act, for real, I'll patiently be waiting for you with open eyes. Bye Dakota.' And with that she was off, and so was Dee's little bit of happiness.
