Raphael carried a weak Dakota in his arms, taking her to his bedroom. She was just in her bra and jeans, and her hair was a mess. His mind was overwhelmed with what thoughts about what he just did. I mean, he just had sex with Dakota, despite the fact he was in bed with Mona. He felt terrible, but luckily he wasn't the best and expressings his feelings when it doesn't involve some kind of violent encounter. He dropped Dakota on the bed, tucking her in the duvet. She giggled and yawned helplessly all out once, moving on to her side.
'I love you Waphie.' She slurred, before closing her eyes and drifting into her slumber.
He walked over to the door, watching her.
'I love you too.'
The thought of that night made Dee smile, but now it just angered her even more than she already was with herself. April's little rant opened up her eyes to what life really was like. She had the slightest doubt Raph actually had feelings for her, and instead just saw an opportunity to bed her until Mona was ready to give herself up. But whatever, she was over the whole affair thing, but not exactly over Raphael himself.
Raph sat on his back on the couch, trying to reach Dakota from his T-Phone. He knew she only just finished school, so decided so knew texting her would be more convenient. He tried to call her a couple of times, but she didn't answer. Fed up, he threw his t-phone onto the floor, sitting up. He buried his head in his hands. Mikey walked in on one of Raph's many many pissed off moments, but couldn't help but laugh.
'Surprise surprise, Mr Hothead is moody.' He teased, turning on the TV as he gobbled the last slice of pizza in his other hand. Raph turned to him, annoyed, he stood up and walked over, whacking the remote out of Mikey's grasp.
'Heyyy.' He whined, his big baby blue eyes widening.
'If I've said it once, I've said a million times. Do not call me hothead!' He exclaimed. Mikey slouched in his seat, rolling his eyes.
'Okay okay okay.' He mumbled. Leo walked in, followed by Donnie.
'Raph take a joke would ya? You've seem, so uptight for a while.' Leo commented, smirking as he took a seat. Donnie naively looked around the room.
'I wonder why.' He muttered for only him to hear. Raph side, flopping on the bean bag next to Mikey's armchair.
'I'm fine. Seriously.' He retaliated, his voice full of no emotion. He wasn't lying about that, seriously.
Dakota checked her phone, to find a hell a lot of missed calls and texts for Raphael. She just decided to ignore them and began to make her way to Midtown Skatepark. It was everyone's favourite hangout during the spring and summer period. Well, Mona's anyway. But then again she sort of owns it. Everyone spent time there when Mona came here after school to hold cheerleader meetings every Friday. From then, it became a thing for everyone. It was also where Raph and Mona shared their first kiss. Back then Dee would have squirmed in excitement for the two of them but now she couldn't help but feel jealous, and wished she was in Mo's position. Dee, absent minded, bumped into Victoria, who got a speck of coffee on her Varsity jacket. She squealed in annoyance glaring at Dee.
'Watch it dwarf. Don't tell me that once again you're drunk. I wouldn't be surprised if you were , because no one could pick an outfit like that sober.' She spat rolling her eyes. Dee didn't just hate this girl, she envied her. She was by her far one of the most gorgeous girls she's ever known. She had blonde wavy hair which rested at her thighs, with streaks of light brown. She had slightly tan and was a tall skinny but still looked healthy. And she had beautiful brown eyes which sparkled day and night, and a shining smile, which you never really would see because she spent half of the time grimacing at everyone. This wasn't new to Dee, being insulted by Victoria, and trust me, you would never see Vicki getting away with it.
'And I'm clearly not the only wasted one. Think you could wear extensions and get away with it?' Dakota snapped, grinning at herself. Victoria gasped, covering her mouth. She then moved it away, flicking her hair.
'FYI, I am all natural and trust me you-'
'Hey Victoria!' Greeted Mona, popping up from behind of Dakota. This made the both of them jump. Victoria plastered a smug smile at Dee and Mona a hand on her hip.
'Hmmm, I'll see you around.' She shot Dee an evil look, before strutting off.
'What a bitch.' Mona snorted as they continued to walk.
'Ugh, I know you should have seen me call out her extensions.' Dee replied, her satisfied grin still on her face. He phone began to ring and she looked at the contact on the screen. She sighed, signalling one minute and Mona before standing outside a store, reluctantly picking up.
'What do you want, Raphael?' She questioned, arching an eyebrow.
'I want to know where we are with whatever this is.'
Dakota took a deep breath, running a hand through her dark hair.
'Whatever that was, is gone. I can't carry on with this, and I know you can't either.' She answered, slightly raising her voice. She heard a huff through the phone.
'You're right. And I love Mona so-'
'So you don't want to do anything to hurt her. Neither do I, nice talking to you Raphael.' She quickly hung up before he could say anything else. She shed a few tears, the words 'I Love Mona' whirling through her head. She quickly dried her eyes, hoping no one she knew saw her, before putting on a brave face and walking back to her best friend.
