April stared long and hard at Mona from the corner of the classroom. trying to read her thoughts. She liked doing, it freaked people out. April folded her arms, pulling funny faces once she finally got through to her.
Mona stared down at the test paper, her mind completely somewhere else.
I like playing games. Playing games is fun.
Can't believe how good of a kisser Leo's become in like a week. Maybe it was with the help of Karai. Ugh, that boyfriend stealing home-wrecking bitch. It's obvious Leo was clearly mine, not to him of course, but everyone else. Shit, Mr Collins is staring. Is he onto me? Not as if he could read minds. Waitt....
Mona shot an angry look at April, who turned away once Mona was onto her. Mona looked away and April hit herself on the head. The bell went and she gathered her things, in a rush to get out. She handed her test over then scurried out the classroom.
'Not so fast.' She heard a voice, a pissed one too.
She sighed, slowly rotating to face Moma.
'I'd appreciate it if you didn't invade my thoughts like that. I would like to be able to think about Leo without knowing that April O'Neil is on boyfriend patrol.' She exclaimed.
April gulped, staring at the floor.
Victoria walked in on the scene, linking arms with Mona. Mona smiled smugly before her and her new bestie walked
Off. April sniggered, sauntering down the halls spontaneously.
Victoria barged past everyone with Mona stuck to her side making their way to the courtyard. They sat under a tree Victoria stared at her with anticipation. Mona raised an eyebrow at her, moving her crutches next to her.
'Has fun last night with boy toy?'
'Okay, you can't exactly call him boy toy, seeing he's a year older than us.'
Victoria rolled her eyes playfully.
'Whatever. Now, details please?'
'What details. We hung out like we do all the time.'
'Define hung out.'
'We slipped okay? Now please stop with the interrogation I wanna eat lunch.' Mona whined, taking a sandwich out her bag. Victoria slapped the sandwich out her hand. Mona clicked her tongue, glaring at her.
'Honey, you have so much to learn.'
Mona opened her mouth to argue but hesitated to talk when her phone vibrated in her bra. She pulled it out and put the phone to her ear.
'Hi Lou Lou.'
Leo groaned over the phone.
'Don't call me that. Oh, and I guess what I chose for Movie Night? Mortal Instruments.'
Mona frowned, shaking her head at his sappiness, she then groaned in annoyance once she was reminded of something.
'I can't. I'm getting my wisdom teeth out today and you probably should not stay around me, for your own safety.'
'What about-'
'Saturday, the Erin twins are having some huge yacht party which I can't miss, Homecoming wise, then Sunday, mom's coming back home so my dad's taking us somewhere in Broadway.'
Leo scoffed.
'So I'm not going to see us all weekend?'
Mona giggled at his frustration.
'You sound so cute when you're pissed.'
Victoria poked her in a way to get her attention, giving her a 'no way' signal by shaking her head frantically.
Mona kept up with this then began to stammer.
'I mean, well poor you, because you'll definitely miss out on me looking achingly fabulous. And you never know, maybe i'll even meet someone on Saturday, whom wouldn't have a problem with me seducing them in the middle of an alleyway in Downtown Manhattan.' She sounded snappy when she said this, she looked over at Victoria, who gave her an okay.
Leo sighed heavily, chuckling as well.
'Maybe that person won't be willing to wait until October to start seeing you.'
'Well maybe, you know what whatever bye Lou Lou!' She exclaimed, her and Victoria starting to crack up.
'Bye.'
Mona through her phone down her bag, then fell backwards, beginning to stare into Space. Victoria looked over at her, observing the smile on her face.
'Someone's got it bad. No wonder you're so bad at playing games.'
Mona laughed, trying to find the right words.
'I'm not used to playing games, but I know it'll all be worth it once I can call him mine. God I sound crazy.'
Victoria, scoffed, shaking a hand through Mona's hair.
'No you don't. I've never seen you so, fazed out since Ivy.'
Mona bit down on her bottom lip, sitting back up.
'I have a seriously bad case of the blues.'
Victoria raised her upper lip as a sign of confusion.
'Blues really?'
'Well, I guess it seemed appropriate because, I'm going to hate myself for the level of corniness in this sentence, but I call Leo, Blue because, any situation he can never hate me and vice versa because I can tell by the way we look at each other. Sometimes I question my pride just because of how easy it is for me to lose myself in his eyes.'
Victoria, stared at her in awe, then burst out in giggles.
'You are adorable. Now would you like to explain the whole Downtown Manhattan seducing situation?'
