Raph threw his t-phone at the wall in frustration, sitting on the floor next to the Street Fighter arcade game. Donnie tutted, flicking through a page of the Stephen Hawking autobiography.
'Don't expect me to make you a new phone when you break this one.' He said, making no eye contact. Raph just ignored his brother, sitting in the armchair.
'Where the hell is Leo once again? You know, for someone who supposed be leading this group, he seems to always be running off doing whatever.' He scoffed, moving the TV remote from under his butt.
April, bit her nails vigorously, until Case moved her hand away from her mouth.
'What are you doing?'
'I just have a bad feeling about Mona. Yesterday, I saw her face when she couldn't find the USB in her locker, she looked like-'
'She was about to kill someone? When doesn't she?' Raph finished off for her.
April raised her brows, nodding slowly in agreement.
'I guess? But as I was saying, I just wanted to go up to her and tell I have the stick, but I couldn't. Anyway, in drama, she confronted Victoria in front of everyone, and just made a fool of herself when Vic insisted on not having the video. As normal she shook it off, and acted like nothing happened.'
Mikey sighed, kicking the door open as he entered the front room.
'Oh Mona, always putting on brave face. It wouldn't kill her to just be open with how she feels, and if things get any worse, one day, all of the anger hurt and confusion she felt for the past month or so will just explode everywhere and she would officially be broken, emotionally anyway.'
Everyone looked in Mikey's direction in astonishment.
Donnie put down his book, lifting his head up.
'Did Mikey just become a therapist?'
'And then everything would be stained with emotions and those are the kind of stains which are hard to get out.'
Raph rolled his eyes turning away.
'He's back.'
There was a light thud by the doorway and everyone looked there to see Mona. She looked, like she had seen a ghost. Her eyes were red and poofy, and Egyptian skin pale. She stood there with a blank expression on her face, but April could tell she was angry, then again she could read minds.
'Where is it?!'
Everyone gave each other weird looks, as they rose from their seats. Casey moved forward, laughing nervously.
'Where's what?'
'You know what Jones. The thing that could ruin my life if it ever get out.' She snapped viciously.
April rummaged through her pocket, taking out the USB and throwing it in Mona's direction. Mona caught it, then admired it, laughing deviously.
'This thing. This stick, you let it come between us. You wanted to deliberately torture me, but why? Because getting Leo to break my heart was more amusing than watching Raphael to sleep with my best friend!' She bellowed, her green eyes glowing a different kind of evil.
April gaped, then shook her head.
'It was nothing like that. Hurting you wasn't our intention. We were worried about you, I was worried about you. But why couldn't you just come clean, to all of us?' She protested.
Mona sniggered, folding her arms.
'You are hilarious April, you know that? Don't act like you did what you did out of love, okay? And the reason I didn't tell anyone about California because this room is full of backstabbers who I can't seem to trust anymore, especially you.' She directed that at April, moving closer to everyone.
Casey stood in front of April
'Hey we get you're mad, but lay off April alright?'
Mona rolled her eyes, scoffing.
'Oh please, don't bother defending her Jones, it just makes you look even more desperate to get into her bright yellow pants, but everyone knows how April O'Neil is too naive and too much of a sweetheart to notice.' She hissed.
Casey and April stared at her in shock and horror.
'Why are you being so harsh?' April said in almost a whisper.
Raph shook his head.
'Come on guys we used to be a family, we can sort this out, and by this I mean everything.'
Mona laughed.
'Family? I pretty sure I don't want to kick my family in the ass every time I see them.' She snapped, sucking her teeth as she looked away.
Everyone was left speechless. There was no getting to this girl.
'Lemme tell you something, I'm done, feeling sorry for myself, crying in my bedroom nearly every night and surrounding myself with people that clearly have no respect for me anymore. You thought you were doing the right thing for Leo and I? Well you were godamn wrong. I make my choices, and I don't need you guys justifying my relationships, I'm not going to let that happen for a fourth time. And yes Raphael for once in your fricking 16 years of life you were right, we were a family, but now, you're all just, people I used to know. I'll see you around.' She turned on her heels, putting the stick in her back pocket, before taking out something else, and dropping it on the floor as she made her exit.
The gang watched her leave in silence, waiting for her shadow to be out of sight.
April sniffled, rubbing under her eyes.
'I can't believe she's gone.' She mumbled moving away from everyone. Donnie looked at her in sympathy, walking over and putting her arm around her.
Raph went back to his seat.
'I can't act like I wasn't expecting some sort of outbust from her, it's Mona remember?'
Casey pushed Raph's shoulder.
'Yeah, but she would never be so awful to anyone, even if she was angry with someone. She dumped us all.'
Mikey frowned, leaning against the wall.
'Great, first Dakota, now Mona. Who's next?'
Donnie turned to Mikey.
'Don't.'
April wiped away upcoming tears, walking over to the thing Mona dropped on the floor. It was a polaroid photo of the whole group back in freshman year. She smiled at the thought of when they took it. She turned to face the room at an angle, the flashback playing in her head.

'No, no, Blue, you need to be in the back because you're the tallest.'
Mona said, grabbing his arm.
'Oh, and the skinniest.'
Leo laughed, moving behind the back, Donnie and Casey following him.
Mona pivoted, looking around for Mikey. She sighed in frustration, putting a hand on her hip.
'Mikey, get your ass out of the kitchen and get into this picture!' She screamed loud enough for the family in the next sewers to hear.
Mikey stumbled into the lounge, removing the orange crumbs stuck to his face,
'Oh chill.'
Mona wacked his arm.
'Don't tell me to chill! We have spent 10 minutes trying to get one picture! It takes 5 seconds for normal people to take a picture.'
Raph smirked.
'We're not people.'
Mona tried to pull a serious face at Raph but they both started laughing.
'Okay, now April, Raph and Dakota sit on the couch, Mikey and eye will be at the front, seeing with both awfully short.' She frowned as she said this, then made her way behind the camer, waiting impatiently to press the timer button on her pastel blue polaroid camera.
'Everyone ready?'
'Yeah.' Everyone responded in unison. Mona pressed the button, scurrying to her her position.
'Cheese!'
The camera shuttered, and everyone sighed in relief.
Mona got up and tool the camera of the stand, waiting for the picture to print, the group making their way around her.
Mona admired the picture once it was in her hand.
'Finally.'
April, chuckled, as she looked at the picture again.
'Finally.'
