Dakota, Mona and Casey were making their way down to the skatepark, to meet up with the turtles. Despite it only being nine o'clock, the streets were pretty empty. All three of them were in hysterics for the entire journey.
'No, seriously, the bitch got hit with a baseball, then fell down the pyramid, and caused everyone else to just, collapse. Even though Dee and I were caught up in that mess, it's still pretty damn hilarious.' Mona said between laughs. She moved a strand of her dark hair to the side, sighing as she caught her breath from the mass of giggles. Mikey waved over the group in the turtles, direction, hopping of his skateboard. Raph grinned at them in curiosity,
'What are you guys giggling about?'
'Just about how I met Leo's girlfriend for the first time.' This comment caused a lot of commontion, but annoyed Leo at the same.
'Hello? She's not my girlfriend! She wants to kill us!' He protested, waving his arms in the air.
Casey, moved to the top of the ramp, still laughing.
'You wish. And who can blame you? She's hot man.' Dakota folded her arms, shooting Casey a look. He looked at her confused, shrugging.
'What?'
Leo crossed his arms, rolling his eyes.
'Can we change subject, please?' He moaned, sitting at the bottom of the ramp.
'Yeah, let's talk about the big elephant in the room. Capril.' Mona answered, her face reading some sort of trouble. Raph put his arm round, shaking his head.
'You sure know how to piss people off.' He joked, nudging her waist. This made Mona squirm, and she let out a laugh.
'It's one of my many talents.'
Dakota looked over in Raph and Mona's direction to instantly turn away. She couldn't help but feel a wave of envy fall upon her. Not only that, but anger too. How could Raph just forget about her so quickly? As if nothing happened? April was right, it was a good thing she called whatever that was between the two of them off before he did, but either way it would hurt.
Cassy groaned in annoyance.
'Mona, knowing you the last thing I want to do is explain what's going on in my life with you. And especially about April.' He retorted.
Mona sighed, nodding in agreement.
'You're right. And especially when Donnie's here.' Leo smacked his hand on his head.
Mikey looked at Mona in disbelief.
'Damn girl, when do you quit?!' He exclaimed. Mona gave him a smug smile. Dakota chuckled at Mikey.
'She doesn't.'
Donnie narrowed his eyes,
'Look, I'm just going to be straight up honest, so she can just shut up. Yes, I still do have feelings for April. But am I going to let those feelings for her affect my well being and friendship with Casey. No, way.'
Mikey applauded him.
'Praise my ninja.' Raph rolled his eyes at his little brother, before turning back to Donnie. Donnie's honesty thing stunned Mona.
She put a hand on her hip, titling her head
'Really, is that how you can explain why you didn't come to eat sushi with us because you were too busy making some six-month wooing plan, which included having Casey involved in some science accident to destroy his good-looking appearance?' She asked, the smirk on her face growing wider.
Leo's mouth dropped open, unsure if he was more shocked with Donnie's plan, or the fact Mona could just get answers to literally everything.
Donnie stammered, his face going bright red.
'I-I-...'
'Don't even try and explain yourself dude.' Casey interrupted.
Dakota sat beside Donnie, putting her arm around his shoulders.
'Donnie, if there's anything I learnt in life, is that live life with confidence. We've all done something or somethings that we're not proud of.'
Donnie nodded in agreement, unfortunately knowing what she meant by that. Dakota looked back at the couple, laughing together showering each other with love. Her eyes met with Raph's for few seconds, but then his attention turned back to Mona's.
'But those mistakes don't define who you are. I'll see you guys tomorrow.' She muttered the rest of her sentence. She began to walk home, ignoring everyone who was saying goodbye, none of those goodbyes from Raph.

Dakota slammed the door behind her, throwing the apartment keys onto the counter. Surprise, surprise, her dear mother wasn't here. After her parents' divorce, Dakota's mom spent most of her time going out, probably getting wasted or looking for some sort of rebound, or both. But this didn't bother Dakota. She learnt to take care of herself, and every waking moment her mother wasn't there, just made her grow stronger. She didn't need her, but what she needed was...no. Dakota stared at the liquor cabinet, trying to shake off her desire for just one drink. She cupped her head in her hands. She can't keep on carrying on as if she was okay with the whole Raph problem. She hurt the person that actually has been there for her through thick and thin, the same way her dad her her mum. She had no one to talk to about it. Mikey, is just Mikey, Donnie, Would bring some sort of science into ir, and Leo was besties with Mona so of course would make her confess. Well, when there was no one to go to there was always something. She opened the cabinet, grabbing a bottle. She popped open the bottle, taking a swig. She sighed, before finishing the whole bottle.
She looked back at the cabinet, a sly smirk appearing on her pale pink lips.
'Well, I am hurting, just one more.'
