Dakota moved past a bunch of people, sitting on the top of steps with Mona and a group of preppies and jocks, just one step below. Like every other American high school, there was those cliques. The superior, bratty cheerleaders and arrogant jocks, who often happened to be football players at at the top. Mona and Dakota didn't really care where they sat, but they only refused to because of the bird shit near the bottom. Dee run a hand through her hair, trying to shake of her problems as she then hid her head in her hands. Mona looked at her suspiciously, smirking ever so slightly.
'Who called?'
Dee was hesitant to answer this, because she was off in her own world. She then snapped back into reality, sitting up facing Mona.
'Nobody special.'
Raph, growled in awe, throwing his t-phone at the wall. Leo noticed this, and chuckled.
'Who was that who I should now pray for?'
Raph rolled his eyes, still not facing his brother.
'No one special.' Casey rolled into the lair, hopping of his penny board and moving it into his jet black Hype backpack. Leo and Raph gave him a heads up, this annoyed Casey.
'Come one guys, don't tell me you forgot we were gonna hangout. Well at least the girls aren't here.'mHe scoffed, pleased when he pointed that out.
Raph tutted, folding his arms.
'Ha.'
'And we're going to have to rain check anyway because we're have some sort of work to do at TCRI-'
'Casey my man! How ya doin'?!' Mikey appeared out of nowhere, giving everyone a start. He walked over to the vigilante, performing their signature handshake. Mikey cackled, putting an arm round Casey.
'Bet you wished you and Mona could do that. Ha!' Mikey said, grinning stupidly.
'Well there too busy doing things we can't do anyway! Am i right? Am I right?' Casey responded, him and Mikey cracking up in harmony. Raph stared at Casey, hard, causing him and Mikey to shut up. Things soon got awkward, thankfully April had entered before things were even more awkward. Mikey turned walking over to April.
'April! How ya doin?!' He asked her, not honestly caring. This still made April smile, she was so pretty when she did.
'Not bad myself. Now what are you boys up to?' She questioned as she sat on the couch, propping her feet up.
'Well, we were going to head to TCRI which is why we called you here.' Leo answered, grabbing a slice of pizza from the box left on the table. April tilted her head back, groaning in frustration.
'Why do I have to be dragged along. Remember last time we went? I WAS NEARLY PROBED! And besides, the last thing is I need reminding is that I'm like half human half....whatever.'
Mikey looked up in deep thought, scratching his head.
'Would that mean the kraang are like you're...distant relatives. Woah, you would have to rent out all of New York for a family reunion.' He commented, chuckling at his insights.
'Hilarious.' April said blankly.
Raph moved against the wall, staring at his t-phone.
'Hey April, you haven't seen Dakota anywhere have you?' He asked, his attention still fixed on his phone.
'The last time I saw her her head was up Loraine Duprey's ass.' Everyone laughed, apart from Raphael, in fact, this pissed him off, a lot.
'Was that seriously necessary?' He asked, trying to express as little annoyance as he could.
April sat up, looking at him as she fixed the ponytail in her bright ginger hair. She giggled at his remark.
'Woah, someone's touchy, and a little touchy in other places as well.'
