'Sorry what?'
Victoria huffed, putting a hand on her hip and tossing her hair to the side. She looked down on Mona in a disapproving manner, puzzled at her strange behaviour.
'Girl! You have been zoning out over and over again? What's up?!'
Mona bit her tongue, pulling Vic to the corner of the locker room.
'If I tell you something, you keep it a secret?'
'You're not pregnant are you?!' She whispered.
Mona shook her head vigorously.
'No! Ermm..the other day, I saw a picture of Dakota, having sex with Raph on April's phone. I don't know what I was thinking but I sent it to my phone and April doesn't know and I don't know what to do with it.' She began to hyperventilate, rocking back and forth on her heels. Vic pushed her down on two feet with her hands:
'Look, you want to ruin her life the way she ruined yours, right?'
'Not like that. I don't want to be responsible for her death.'
Victoria rolled her eyes.
'You're adorable. Look, I'm not saying you do it, but honestly, maybe it would give her the benefit of the doubt, instead of ruining her non existent rep.'
Mona nodded, leaving the locker room as did many other girls, apart from Victoria. She waited until the coast was clear then went to Mona's bag, taking out her phone. She managed to unlock it without no password required, making her job much easier. She searched for the photos application, opening it and finding the picture. Her cheeks puffed out in repulsion once she saw it, resisting temptation to barf everywhere. Swiftly, she cropped the picture so it was just Dakota in sight and sent out an anonymous mass text to people from Midtown High. She giggled maliciously, deleting the text from her phone before putting it back in a methodic manner and sauntering out of the locker room.

'Where's the stuff?'
'Where's the money?'
'I got it. I didn't fake period pains just so I could be questioned.'
'Who would have thought Miss Homecoming had a dark side?'
The senior handed her a packet of pills in exchange for $100. Mona looked smug at him, walking off back to the locker room to store them in her bag.
Not so far stood a ginger girl who witnessed everything.***
'Isn't that the new girl?'
'Ugh, what a skank.'
Dakota received sniggers and shady glares as she walked down the hallways of her new school. She felt uneasy, seeing it was only lunch and everyone had already noticed her. Everyone.
She was approached by two upperclassmen, making wolf whistles at her. She frowned, crossing her arms over her chest.
'What you got to hide? Nothing we haven't seen before.' One of them jeered. Dakota decided to ignore that, walking on. She was once again stopped by three girls who looked like the ones you wouldn't want to mess with.
'Dakota Brooks? Kourtney Adams. Of course you know that.' The girl who spoke wasn't your typical mean girl appearance. She was dark and had glimmering black hair which fell flawlessly to her hips. Her eyes sparkled brown as well as her perfect pearly smile.
'For someone that has been at this school for half of a day, you've made not the best impression.'
'Excuse me?'
'Haven't you heard? There's a nude picture of you leaked. Looks like someone's been doing the nasty real nasty. I'm surprised seeing you're only a junior.' She waved the phone in her face with the picture illuminating her screen. Dee gaped in horror as her eyes got misty, she stormed past the girls and anyone who got in her way. She ditched the school campus as sounds of laughter and anything humiliating echoed through her mind. She reached the bus stop on the other side of the street, sobbing to herself. Soon she wasn't going to be the only one crying.

Dakota power walked towards Mona and the cheerleaders sitting on the field. She stood in front of table, stabbing a finger at Mona.
'You.'
'You what?!' She snapped, slamming her hands on the table as she stood up.
'You posted that picture. You posted to someone at school and got it leaked.' She hissed.
Mona giggled dryly, walking over to her and moving close up to her face, the cheerleaders backing her up.
'Please. I have no idea what you're talking. Only thing I'm guilty of is not thinking about it first.'
Some of the cheerleaders reacted to this, practically praising her.
'You know what? How the hell is ruining my life helping yours?!'
'I can say the same thing to you! You sent my girlfriend away, slept with my boyfriend and you're probably plotting how to destroy what Leo and I have too. So what if that picture got out? People need to know how much of a skank you are if they want to get involved with you.'
This earned more people's attention, satisfying Mona. Dee burned a bright red, clenching her fists.
'What did you just call me?'
'That's right. You're a skank. A two-faced, backstabbing, untrustworthy skank who just can't stand seeing people happy and in love because of her own mommy and daddy issues.'
'Don't-'
'Don't what? Tell the truth. Ever since they split up you just need to take your anger out on people who were your friends. But I guess it's just your awful personality.'
'I-'
'You really want to try and defend yourself? Look around honey, I made you. No one would know who you are if it weren't for me. I accept you, so does everyone else, I despise you, I guess we know what happens next.'
Mona looked over at the cheerleaders, smirking.
She began to make circles around an outnumbered Dee who was convinced she couldn't make any more of a fool of herself when she realised how the whole year was watching the conflict.
Once she made a full circle she took a step back, tilting her head as she examined Dee.
'Don't be sad. I understand why you would be though, you were beautiful, innocent, then your genes kicked in. A partyholic like your mommy and a whore like dear old dad. The apple doesn't fall far from the tree, in your case it's the whole fruit garden.'
Roars of excitement waved along the crowd as they waited for more action.
Mona pursed her lips, looking down on her.
'That's what I thought.'
She edged her shoulder left to turn around until she felt Dakota moved a hand onto her shoulder and a forceful slap to the face. Mona held her now red cheek, looking away shamefully. Dakota huffed, moving to her and getting all up in her face.
'You don't dare talk about my family like that. Just because not everyone is brought up a brat.'
Mona scowled and pounced, shoving her to the floor and slapping her back.
She pulled at her hair as Dee tried prying her off and attacking her at the same time. The school went wild as they were at each other's throats, many of the front row recording the fight.
'Bitch please you're driving a car you couldn't afford two months ago!'
She rolled onto the floor so Dee was on top, attempting to throw punches at her which she easily blocked.
'At least I don't let money define me!' She screamed, pulling at her hair also.
Mona got up and scratched her face, resulting into bleed.
'You try to be like me so much, no wonder you stole Raph. News flash, I'm different. I'm my own clique and you're just an outcast.'
She grabbed her head, smashing it into ground. Dee rolled away, kicking her stomach. Mona shrieked, grabbing her left shoulder and punching her mouth as well as kicking her.
'Break it up break it up!' They were pulled away by two teachers, however still had the energy for another round.
Mona was lifted in the air, kicking frantically.
'Come at me bitch!'
Dee struggled as her arms were cuffed together as the guidance counsellor restricted her. She spat blood onto the ground before giving Mona and threatening stare.
'This isn't over.'
Casey stood in between, sticking out his hands.
'Oh yes it is.'

Mona glared darkly at Dee from the other end of the Nurse's office, each of them holding an ice pack somewhere near their faces.
'I think you broke my jaw.' Complained Dee.
'And you broke my perfect bone structure.'
'What is with you? The Mona I knew wasn't so awful.'
Mona scoffed, slamming her ice pack down next to her.
'News Flash Atlanta. Things changed while you were gone. The Mona you knew let people walk all over her. And I'm over that.' She retaliated harshly.
Dee stammered in amazement at her new found attitude.
'Will Dakota Brooks and Mona Stockman report to the Principal's office.'
Mona gritted her teeth, brushing off her skirt and making her way down the deserted hallway quickly. The two walked in to the office, sitting in front of Mrs N who looked anything but pleased with the girls.
'Mona Stockman, head cheerleader and reigning Homecoming Queen.'
Mona couldn't help but grin at that. She was one of the 5% in the school that actually is going to go somewhere in life at this place.
'Dakota! You transferred out of this school so I'm just beyond dazzled on why you're here in the first place. Who would care to start explaining?'
The girls sat their soaking in the tension in the atmosphere, none of them willing to speak.
Mrs N cocked an eyebrow, leaning back on her spinning chair.
'Girls, I think It would be easier to explain otherwise your punishment would be just worse.'
'I started it.' Dakota lied, raising out of her seat. Then again it wasn't a total lie seeing she slapped her first.
'Dakota, care to take your seat again?'
'Oh right my bad. But still, I accused Mona of doing something and attacked her, even though she may have done it, I totally mishandled the situation.'
Mona was 99% convinced her head was going to explode once she felt a migraine come on.
Mrs N gazed over at Mona, eyeing her with suspicion.
'Mona, is this true?'
She caught a quick glance at Dakota who had no problem with taking the fall.
'Erm yeah, but I did provoke the situation, by saying some nasty things.' She confessed shamefully.
Mrs N grabbed a pan, faintly drumming it against her desk.
'In that case. Mona, you have detention for the rest of the week, Dakota, seeing your no longer a student here, I'll be informing your parents and Principal at Midtown of this incident. Is that clear?'
'Yes Ma'am.'
'Mona, you're dismissed.'
Mona got up, scurrying out the office quickly.
Dakota glowed a bright red as a sensation of heat waved over her.
Mrs N put down her pen, clasping her hands tightly and leaning over.
'Dakota. What was so awful that you felt the need to use physical contact towards one of your ex-classmates?'
Dakota gulped, panting nervously.
'I...'
