Dakota giggled sheepishly, stumbling towards Casey. He widended his eyes at the state of her, holding her in his arms.
'Geez Dee, chill with the drinks.' He commented, chuckling nervously. Dakota grinned a lazy grin, looking up at him.
'You know in middle school, I had like a huge crush on you, but you were chasing April, you still are.' She began to whimper. Casey stammered, looking around awkwardly.
Dakota frowned, staring below her.
'I mean, what's wrong with me. I'm just as hot as, even hotter. Maybe it's those freckles, or she rocks blue eyes better than me I-I don't know.' She cried.
Casey's mouth dropped open, he pulled Dakota away so she wouldn't receive so much attention. They entered a dark corridor, and he waited for people to walk past before he answered. He stared Dakota blankly, grabbing her shoulders.
'Dee, you're wasted. Badly. I'm going to take you home now okay? Hopefully we'll both forget this by the morning.'
Dakota laughed, pinning Casey against the wall behind him and cupping his face.
'You're so sweet.' She slurred, pressing her lips against his and kissing him softly.
Casey's eyes popped open, this was so weird. He didn't kiss her back, god forbid.
Dakota pulled away when she heard a thud on the floor, looking forward to see April in front. Punch began to trickle to her feet.
April scoffed, putting a hand to her hip. She glared at the both of them in astonishment and anger.
'I can't believe this.'
Casey laughed nervously, wiping his mouth and walking over to her.
'It's not what it looks like.'
April rolled her eyes as she looked away from him, focusing on Dakota.
'Care to explain?'
Dakota stood there clueless to what she was saying. April scowled, grabbing her arm. She dragged her through the living room to the door.
'My best friend, pulling a stunt like that?'
Dakota curled her lips narrowing her eyes.
April groaned in annoyance.
'Say something! Or are you too wasted to defend yourself?!' She exclaimed, everyone beginning to turn in their direction.
Dakota leaned against the door wearily.
'Whatever, it's not like you're like together what's the biggie?' She jeered, smirking at herself.
April opened the door for her, gesturing for her to leave.
'Byeee!' Dakota gave a farewell with her middle finger, stumbling onto the streets of downtown Manhattan. April slammed the door behind her, storming upstairs barging past everyone.
'Unbelievable.' She shrieked, everyone being able to hear the slamming off her bedroom door. The whole of downstairs fell quiet.
'GET OUT OF MY ROOM!' A scream which amplified all over the house heard from the whole party. A boy and a girl scurried downstairs, getting dressed on their back down to the party. Mona burst through front door, a large Happy Birthday April cake in her grasp.
'Where's the birthday girl?'April stormed down into the lair, followed by a distressed Dee and oblivious Mona
'You're not even going to try and listen to me?!' Dee pleaded desperately, she tried to make contact with April but she simply refused to face her. Mikey, Raph and Leo looked up from the TV screen at the two feuding girls absolutely unhinged by the current situation they were witnessing, while Donnie peered out of his lab, before walking over to the group.
'Why listen to you now? So you can embarrass me once again? No thank you.' She retorted, her hand on her hip as she glared harshly at her.
'Would someone like to explain what's going on?!' Demanded Raph, mainly focusing his question at Mona, waiting for her to say something to break the obvious tension. She sighed, reluctant to tell the boys and them what incident occurred last night. For crying out loud, these boys are off basically every night fighting some kind of weird shit. This was the last thing they need to worry about.
'well-' she was interrupted by Dakota, whom briefly had her hand right in front of her face.
'Don't even worry, I'll see you guys at school.' Dee commented, her voice croaky. She gave April an apologetic look, before leaving the lair.
The lair fell into dead silence, and the turtles exchanged funny looks.
'Welllllllll that was totes awkarddd!' Exclaimed the deviant baby blued eyes, plopping himself back onto the couch fixing his attention back on the TV. April felt Leo's eyes fixed on her, before snapping her head left to face him.
'what? I don't want to talk about it.' Her voice was blunt when she said this, and she then moved herself next to Mikey, cupping her face in her left hand. Mona included herself back in the conversation once Raph had left sitting beside April.
'Come on April, you have to tell us.'
April rolled her eyes in frustration.
'Fine. Yesterday, I saw Dakota and Mona kissing.'
'Yes!' Donnie cheered, punching a fist in the air. Everyone looked at him blankly, then he made the wise choice of disappearing info his lab.
Mona bite her tongue, her attention back on April.
'Anyway, then what happened?'
Leo looked at Mona in confusion.
'You don't know?'
'No, because I was busy getting the cake, and I would have left some for you guys, but there were like 50 people there.'
April narrowed her eyes at Mona, waiting impatiently.
'May I continue?'
Mona looked at her, then nodded.
'As I waa saying, they kissed, so I confronted her and she was just so, arrogant about it. She was so drunk I'm surprised she could remember it all.' She said quietly. As if speaking to herself.
Leo huffed, shaking his head
'What can I say? Teenagers. We're a mess.'
