Wow he's actually on time.
Billy pulled up to the mall at 530pm. Max wasted not a single second opening his door to hop in the back.
"Did you guys have fun?" Billy asked as his head was slightly laid back on his seat. I didn't answer but max did.
"Yeah, we went shopping and she met my friends. I was wondering if you could drop me off at Mike's? We all wanted to hang out a little bit more."
She was nervous asking.
You could tell from her tone she was. "Sure." Billy responded. Which I'm sure surprised max, because she smiled and looked down at the same time. I pushed the seat back and hopped in beside Billy.
"What did you get baby?" He asked as he pulled out as he started driving. I looked down at the few bags I had and back up to Billy.
How exactly can I say lingerie without saying that?
"Just cute things you would like." I said with a smile hoping Billy got the hint without making max uncomfortable.
"Yeah max is definitely going to Mike's. I need to tear those off of you." He said with a mischievous grin. Which made my mouth gape open wide as I looked at him with shock covering my face.
"BILLY!" I yelled trying to hide any amusement in my face. However it didn't work. I could feel the heat in my cheeks telling Billy the opposite of what I was trying to do. Billy couldn't help but laugh at me. I'm not sure what he was laughing at exactly, but he was laughing. Maybe it was the shock on my face, or maybe me blushing. I'm not sure.
"Did you have fun?" I asked as I lightly shook my head trying to mask how truly embarrassed I was.
"He sucks at basketball. Oh by the way baby your talking to him tonight." Billy said it like it was nothing. Like he didn't just pretty much say he was forcing me to forgive Steve. My smile instantly faded and completely disappeared as I looked at Billy.
"Stop."
He said the single word so easily and like it didn't bother him at all.
"Well I don't want too." I said in a lower voice as I looked at Billy with my smile still gone. Billy could tell I was upset but he didn't give in.
"Too bad, because you are. Whether you like it or not."
I looked at Billy and he looked at me but I didn't say anything else. I just turned my face away from Billy and in that second he knew I was upset. Deep down he also knew I would do it for him regardless of how I felt. Billy kept driving as he put his hand on my thigh lightly squeezing.
However I still didn't look it him but I sighed and reached down grabbing his hand. Taking his hand into mine. Still refusing to look at him. I was mad. I knew there wasn't any sense in arguing about it though. It wouldn't make a single difference in the end. A few minutes later Billy pulled up to the wheelers house and parked. I let go of Billy's hand getting out of the car to let max out.
"Thanks Billy love you." Max yelled out as she started walking towards the house.
"Love you too kid I'll pick you up by 9." Billy called out. I couldn't help but smile as I got back into the car. Billy was also smiling.
Damnit Billy I'm still mad at you.
"See progress now let's go lover boy I have lingerie." I said with a flirty grin on my face. Billy couldn't help but glide his tongue across his top teeth as he smiled. He put the car in drive and peeled off heading back to his house.
"Is someone excited?" I asked through my laughs.
"Oh you have know idea." Billy said as he grinned widely. I couldn't help but giggle in the passenger seat as Billy was smiling. He sped literally the entire way home. Which made me laugh.
