The knock on the door is what woke me up Saturday morning. When I walked out to the livingroom yawning and rubbing my eyes I stopped dead in my tracks.

"El what's wrong?" I asked between a yawn. El looked upset.

"Before kai died he did something." El mumbled lowly.

The moment I heard El's words Billy and I both looked at each other. I could hear Kai's words in the back of my head. "El what do you mean?" I asked confused.

El bit her lip sighing as she looked at me. "Nat he opened the gate before he died."

I looked at El and started pacing back and forth in the living room. "What the hell do you mean he opened it El?"

El looked at me as I continued pacing. "I mean he opened the gate before he died. Now there is a monster hell bound on killing you. Billy is a target too but it's mainly after you."

I looked at El and started laughing. "This isn't happening."

I was almost full blown panic. Billy was getting worried.

"What's going on?" Billy asked as he looked around the room. No one answered him though.

"We can beat it though right El? We've beat the monsters that came through the gate before. Why should this be any different?" Dustin said.

"Exactly we can figure a way through this. Where no one dies." Steve said from the other side of the room. I was still pacing.

"What's the probability El?" I asked with panic still in my voice.

El looked at me and wiped her tear away. "Slim. The probability isn't good Nat. Every way I look at it one person will most likely die. I can close the gate though. I just can't close the gate and find the monster at the same time. I can only do one thing at a time."

I looked at El and rubbed my face. "What can I do?" I asked looking at El.

"Run fast while I close the gate." El said raising her eyes slightly.

"NO NO NO! ABSOLUTELY NOT!" Billy yelled as he was shaking his head.

"I agree with Billy. Nat that's a fucking suicide mission." Gareth mumbled as he stared at me.

"Your death isn't the answer Nat. No way in hell." Eddie said as he shook his head profusely.

"The answer is me closing the gate. Nat just has to run fast." El said as she looked at me.

I could read El's face. She was telling me we needed to talk alone.

"We do this together or not at all." Billy said looking at me with a serious face. I didn't say anything I just walked into the bathroom starting the shower. It didn't take long after I closed my eyes for El to invade my mind.

"We do it tonight. I'll close the gate while you go where I push it to. Then you run like hell. I'll reach out again tonight. Figure out a way to keep them at home."

Message received El. After my shower I walked back to the bedroom with a towel around me. I got dressed and ready for the day.

*Act natural Nat. Don't give shit away.

I walked out of the bedroom after I finished getting ready for the day. We all spent the entire day inside brainstorming ideas how we were supposed to do this. I had my own plan they just couldn't know that. Everyone fell asleep pretty fast after they all ate way too much pizza.

"Billy look." I mumbled to him as we laid in bed after everyone fell asleep.

"Stop. No. We are not talking about this. Your not doing what your thinking." Billy said firmly.

I looked at Billy sighing heavily. "You don't even know what I was going to say."

Billy looked at me smiling as he lightly shook his head. "I know you better then anyone baby. We do this together or not at all. Am I understood Nat?"

I looked at Billy nodding my head as I bit my lip lightly. "Yeah I got it. It's just I don't want anyone else to get hurt. Kai is dead and he's still ruining my life. Our lives."

Billy looked at me with a gentle smile on his face. "Nat I killed kai. He can't hurt us anymore. This is just him trying to win beyond the grave. We're not going to let that happen. We all do this as a team or not at all. El is going to close the gate and everything will work out."

I heard Billy and I understood what he was saying but I still couldn't push away the nagging feeling that something bad was gonna happen if they came.

"I can't loose any of you guys. Especially not you." Is what I said instead of what I was actually really thinking.

"No one is loosing anyone baby." Billy muttered as he leaned forward caressing my face gently. I needed the kiss that came after. I however knew my own plan. I knew what I was about to do. So I deepened the kiss. I knew Billy wouldn't think anything of it. He would just give me what I wanted.

So I deepened the kiss and the second I heard his low growl in his throat I knew he was turned on. When he cupped my face pulling me closer to him as his tongue slipped into my mouth I knew it was a success.

Billy and I spent the next hour in bed having sex with each other until eventually the only thing we were doing was holding each other.

"I love you Billy." I mumbled letting Billy believe I was half asleep. "I love you too baby." Billy muttered. It only took a few long minutes before his breathing slowed and his arms around me became looser and looser. When I knew Billy was asleep for certain is when I slowly lifted his arm around me and slowly and carefully climbed out of bed.

I got dressed and went pee. After I used the bathroom and finished getting ready I grabbed the case I had hidden under the bathroom sink. After I got the eleven syringes full of drugs ready of the sleeping liquid I took a deep breath.

"It will keep them asleep Nat. It won't hurt them. Do this and let's go." I said to myself. I took another deep breathe and I slowly made my way around the group.

Pushing the syringe needle into thier arms and pushing down on the top. I did it repeatedly until every last person was drugged. I put the case on Billy's dresser and I stopped to look at him.

"Sorry billy."

I didn't stop again or look back or change my mind. I closed Billy's bedroom door and I grabbed his car keys and walked out.

"Go to the star court mall. That's where I'm leading it. It's gonna chase you when it sees you, so run."

*okay you can do this.

"Okay be careful El."
"Yeah too."

I took a deep breath and I headed for the mall. When I got out of the car and started walking for the mall I stopped in my tracks. I seen it before it seen me. The thing was fucking huge. It had four legs I guess you could call them and not a normal face.

It's face completely opened up. It had these tentacle things protruding from all sorts of places on its body. It also smelled horrible and looked like a blood of dead cells and blood. It was nasty looking yet scary as fuck. It was also huge.

"Holy shit." I mumbled to myself. The moment I did that the monster turned itself looking at me. The rumbled roar that came next made my eyes widen as I felt the blood drain from my body. I didn't wait to see if it was friendly. I started running. Running as fast as I possibly could.
