After we all finished getting ready for the day we headed into town. Eddie and Amy went off on their own to shop and Billy, max and I all stuck together.

"These are cute. What do you think babe?"

Billy looked at the dresser and night stand set and smiled "I like them." Billy grabbed the boxes and set them in the cart. We went off to bedding and curtains. Billy's bedding was old and his curtains were black. We needed a bedroom make over.

I grabbed a cute unisex bedding set that both Billy and I agreed on after one of us shit down the first six suggestions. I grabbed new curtains that would match the bedding and furniture in a good way. After about an hour into shopping we checked out loading the cars up and heading to another store.

"Babies need so much." I groaned as we all stared at the huge selection.

"Might as well get the furniture though. We can come back for everything else when we know the gender." Billy said smiling wide at me. I couldn't help but giggle at his obviously clear happiness.

We got a dresser, rocking chair, changing table, crib and crib mattress. That's all we could get without knowing the sex of the baby. Once we got home Billy and Eddie got busy on putting all of the furniture together while I looked up doctors.

When I found one I decided on I called.

"Yes hi my names natalie Harrington. I'm new to the area and I'm due February 16th. I needed to find a doctor. Is there any available appointments within the next week."

I waited after she told me to let her check.

"Yes we have an opening tomorrow actually. Is 10am okay?"
"Yeah that would be great." I said feeling relieved.

After I set the appointment I went upstairs to start unpacking. Billy and Eddie were grabbing the old dresser to throw out when I walked in.

"Hey thanks guys. This looks fantastic."

Billy and Eddie smiled as I stepped out of the way. I went straight to unpacking. When Billy made his way back up the room he helped me. It only took a few hours with his help and honestly the room looked great.

"I have an appointment tomorrow at 10am."

Billy looked at me as he closed the last dresser drawer.

"That's great. That wasn't to bad."

I sat down on the bed smiling "yeah they had one open appointment so I got lucky honestly."

When Billy woke me up for my appointment I whined.

"No let me sleep."

I could hear Billy laugh at me "baby come on. You have to get up. You have a doctors appointment."

After a few more whines Billy got me out of bed. After my shower I was officially woken up so I wasn't so cranky by the time we got to the doctors office. The new patient forms were fucking annoying but I filled them out anyway.

"Natalie Harrington."

Billy and I made our way through the door. The nurse checked my weight, height and blood pressure and left is in a room to wait for the doctor.

"Hi Natalie I'm doctor steel. It's nice to meet you. So I see you've had regular doctor visits and have done everything your supposed to do. Are you taking any prenatal vitamins."

I reached inside my bag grabbing the pill bottle "yeah this is what my last doctor prescribed me."

Doctor steel wrote the prescription name down and smiled at me.

"Great those are the preferred vitamins. So can you tell me how your pregnancy has been so far?"

After a slight head nod I filled the doctor in.

"I had a lot of morning sickness the first two and half months, but after that it stopped. Heartburn, fatigue, sore boobs, I'm emotional and cranky."

Doctor steel laughed "any issues pooping or eating?"
"Not anymore." I mumbled slightly embarrassed.

Doctor steel smiled at me "regular ultrasounds and heart beat detection?"
"Yes sir. We were hoping to find out the gender today though."

Doctor steel smiled brightly "fantastic go ahead and lay back for me Natalie."

I laid back and doctor steel lifted my shirt and added the gel. Which made me jump slightly like it usually did.

"I know I'm sorry. It's cold."

I smiled but I didn't say anything. I grabbed Billy's hand and he was smiling the entire time. He was really happy. As soon as the heartbeat sounded Billy gasped.

"Wow is that the heartbeat?"

Doctor steel nodded his head "it is and it's strong. Which tells me the baby is very healthy."

Billy was honestly in awe. He was even more in awe when the doctor turned the monitor and he seen the baby on the screen. Billy's eyes instantly filled with tears.

"Oh my god. That's amazing."

I felt Billy kiss my forehead which made me grin wide. After a few button taps doctor steel spoke.

"Your due date is February 16th so no issues there. The baby measures where it should. No problems with the baby or anything I see I should be concerned about. It's a healthy baby girl. Congratulations you two."

After I was cleaned up and Billy helped me sit up the doctor handed me the pictures and another prescription of vitamins. "This bottle will be your last bottle. Keep taking the vitamins. I wanna see you back here in a month."

After the appointment was finished Billy and I went to fill the prescription and we headed to the store.

"Are you not happy? You've been quiet."

Billy looked at me shaking his head "what? No baby of course not. I'm happy. I'm really happy. I promise. I just never knew how amazing seeing the baby and hearing the heart beat actually would be. I'm just processing how amazing all of this is. I promise. I'm happy. I'm fucking ecstatic."

I smiled at Billy kissing him. The baby shopping took a few hours. We got a baby swing, bassinet, two car seats, sheets, blankets, clothes, booties, mittens, diaper bag, stroller, diapers, bottles, pacifiers, baby monitor, nail kit, wash cloths, towels, baby soap, baby lotion, baby bath and insert, breast pump, car seat head and body support, two window shades, bouncer, nursing pillow, nursing cover, bottle brush, burp cloths, humidifiers, thermometer, nasal aspirator, first aid and medicines, brush and comb, swaddles and a baby book.

"Jesus I'm tired."

Billy laughed at me as kissed my forehead as we made our way home. We didn't fuck with anything. We just put everything in the nursery and cuddled on the couch.

"I missed this." I mumbled as Billy held me as if he didn't ever wanna let go of me.

"I know exactly what you mean baby."

I don't remember falling asleep but Billy and me both did. We fell asleep cuddling on the couch not even realizing we were going to fall asleep.
