"What the fuck did I say?" Steve asked as he firmly grabbed onto my arm.

"Steve stop. We were only talking. Calm down. Nothing even happened." I said in a low voice.

"IM TRYING TO PROTECT YOU. WHY DO YOU HAVE TO MAKE EVERYTHING FUCKING DIFFICULT?" Steve yelled at me. Which made me flinch slightly.

"I'm not trying to. We were just talking." I mumbled under my breath.

"God are you stupid or something? For fuck sake Natalie. After your ex you would think you would be a little smarter." He said in a harsh cold tone. I couldn't help the tears that immediately welled up in my eyes.

"Just get in the damn car."

I looked at Steve and tried walking away. "Go screw your self." I yelled as I went to walk away, but Steve grabbed my arm and pushed me into the car. I couldn't help the tears running down my face as I looked out the car window.

Steve slammed his door and peeled out of the parking lot. About five minutes into the drive home of Steve yelling at me I kind of just tuned him out. I didn't even say a single word to him. I just went straight to my room slamming my bedroom door and locking it behind me.

I jumped straight into the shower to wash the chlorine of the pool off of me.

"You are not going Natalie. Don't even think about it." I said to myself as I looked at my closet full of clothes.

I scrunched my face up as I looked at my clothes then at myself in my mirror.

"He will kill you. Billy Hargrove isn't worth the trouble." I said to myself again.

I groaned rubbing my hands over my face and I grabbed the most cute yet casual outfit I could possibly find and slipped into my clothes. I gave myself some very light minimal make up and I curled my hair. I slipped on a pair of shoes and I looked at myself in my mirror.

"This is such a horribly bad idea. Steve will find out. He always finds out."

I looked at myself again and I sighed making my bed. Putting some pillows under my covers.

"That's as good as it will get." I said to myself as I looked at my work. I opened my bedroom window and I shut my light off.

"Thank god for this garden ladder." I whispered to myself as I slowly climbed down repelling down the side of my house. Once I landed safely on the ground I bit my lip before moving a step.

"Don't get caught Natalie. Steve will kill you."

I took another deep breath and I hurried my way down the street. The moment I seen his car idling down the block my stomach flipped. I had to steady my breathing before I made my way to Billy.

He was leaning against his car smoking a cigarette. His lean body looked great in his tight pants like always. He had on a leather jacket tonight. His collar of his shirt was slightly opened. I could already smell his cologne that had mixed through the cool air.

Fuck who smells that good?

The second Billy seen me the smile that planted on his face made my breath stick in my throat.

"You actually came?" He simply stated with his perfect smile on his face still.

Act natural Natalie.

I gave him my best winning smile. "Don't make me regret it lover boy." I said.

lover boy? Seriously Natalie? Could you be more idiotic.

Billy smiled at me. A big smile as he flicked his cigarette. "Oh I wouldn't dream of it baby girl."

Oh dear god. This guy definitely knows what he's doing. This was a bad idea Nat. Just make an excuse. Don't you dare get in the car with Billy Hargrove.
